I'm glad I did.
While I wasn't terribly impressed with Teshima's acting or character (I thought he was pretty but dull), I really loved the chemistry between Amemiya and "Buchou." The plot was somewhat slow but there was a lot of emotion building under the surface in ways that were both subtle and thoughtful. For such a playful drama, I was surprised at how invested I got in the characters.
Overall, it was a good show. Not the best I've ever seen - and certainly a little bit annoying - but definitely worth watching.
