Understanding Jung

The thing is they hurt each other without really wanting it. I know some will argue that Jung did plan the fight as a revenge, but I like to believe that he didn't intend for InHo to get hurt. I'm pretty sure he knew Jung wouldn't go to the bar and he called on those boys because they had always troubled him and they weren't so nice. He sends that piano boy to the bar because he wanted to use Jung and his father as a benefactor, so the perfect resolution would be if this kid wasn't able to play at that concourse. How could he control that kid's mind so he immediately concludes that InHo was the one who called on them? I mean Jung might be a mastermind, but he's not god, okay?

But yeah, why didn't Jung help InHo then? So we know that Jung's character is a little different, but what people are failing to understand is that not everybody just knows how people work, what empathy is and what is right or wrong and it's not Jungs fault at all for not being like other people. If someone's at fault, it's his father because what Jung learned about using people he learned from his father who tried to use InHo and In Ha to make Jung "normal".

So know we have that boy that is a little different than others and he first learns that his very best friend thinks he is pitiful, has no dreams, can't do what he wants and that things are always easy for him, though we know Jung finds it difficult to be around people and when InHo said that he may be the only one that understands Jung how would you interpreted it in this context? Obviously you would think that InHo believes he's the only one that can play Jung like that.

And now people say Jung should've talked to InHo but it is not that easy. When you're hurt this badly you can't just go up to them and say "hey buddy I overheard what you said about me and I can't believe you think like that and I'm really really hurt". If you believe someone uses you, because you are rich and it's so practical for them to be around you then you wouldn't believe them even if they say that they didn't mean what they said. Also what matters is that InHo was the one that told Jung he shouldn't be around people that use him, that he should fight back. So what did Jung? He fought those bullies and that kid by himself in his own way and InHo happened to be caught in the middle.

The reason most of you don't get Jung is because we know InHo didn't mean what he said and that Jung should've talked to him, but really try not to be so biased and see how it appears to Jung.

Do you remember that scene where Jung was totally ignored by InHo, InHa and his own father? Like he wasn't even there? So what kind of person would you believe them to be? They come to your house, befriend you, then get adopted by your father. And that's already much to handle, but then you find out that they just used you, that they aren't really your friends, that they are replacing you and it's so easy because they are the normal kids that are full of talents and dreams.

I just love Jung because he's not perfect at all and so nice to analyse. Tbh, this could be even longer, but y'all won't even read this.

Minho was the star of the show

Honestly, Minho and his co-lead brought so much into the last episode. I wish they had more role in the whole drama, only for those two I hope there's going to come a second season focussing solely on them. Somehow their chemistry was so much more convincing than JCW and KJW even though they are both very good actors.

I just don't know what to say. It was too dumb. T

There is so much I want to blame Jiaxian for, she is not relatable at all, but I do understand how her mind works. However, it really makes me mad. Everybody tells her how much they like her, but she still would not grew a pinch of confidence. What I actually don't understand was how she thought it was a good idea to act like Anna's dietician. No matter, how I look at it, it comes of as incredibly sneaky, too. For a character, that feels so guilty for everything, I would've expected her to think and empathize more, and to not be aware of her actually acting selfish instead. I just don't understand, how often Xiyi has to tell her, that he broke up with Anna and that she is the one that he chose, for her to finally believe it. Because she never did believe him is why Anna could fed into her anxiety and self-consciousness. Finally came the moment where I stopped feeling sorry for Anna, I still think she initially did nothing wrong, and that she was treated extremely unfairly by both of them, but really ... I just cannot stress enough that if your bf not only cheats on you but gets someone pregnant and marries them and then partially blames you for the whole situation in your break up??? LEAVE. Xiyi is not actually a bad person, but he really treated her badly, so that's enough reason to leave his cheating ass. There really is no point in holding on to someone like that. For Xiyi, I sometimes just don't know how his mind works. Honestly. I like that in this version he actually is very decisive compared to the Taiwanese and Korean ones, but boy .... he is really bad at setting boundaries. How did he think it was a good idea to let Anna kiss him on the cheek and throw him a belated b-day party, after she went completely nuts? It was so obvious that it was an act. Which woman with a sane mind and without any ulterior motives would try to be friends after being dumbed like that? Why get drunk with her? To the point that he can't get himself home alone? And what's with the lawyer refusing to nullify the divorce agreement? what kinda bullshit is that??? I'm rolling my eyes so hard I can see my brain. When he ran after her, he should've just said "I don't ever want to divorce you", that would've de-escalated the situation immediately, because there is no room for misunderstanding. And why would Jiaxian even believe Xiyi would break up with her in that manner? he was two-timing Anna for months because he thought he had to do it face to face.I do think their relationship still needed a lot of work, especially for marriage, but just because both of them were so dumb is that Anna's plan even worked.

Do you happen to know, if I had my mouth opened or closed?

This one is sad and beautiful. The topic is heavy. Very. But this one left the most questions open, about the past, future and present. With this one I thought it could've been an interesting drama, a melodrama but it would be beautiful. The black and white setting gives it an unreal feel, while the emotions in it are of the realest kind.

Fried Chicken

This episode is the funniest, or rather it is the only funny one. There is not much to interpret about this one, it's just a short film about two girls talking about adolescence and making their first romantic experiences, while they desperately try to take revenge on the girl's father which later kind of escalades. But it's the mood that I liked, the feeling it gave off - it also, the only one I wished was longer. IU and her female co-star have amazing chemistry, their friendship is really believable because they seem very comfortable with each other.

No one really gives me their heart

I think this one is the weirdest episode.IU is looking beautiful, sexy, she is a seductress but for a moment you are blinded by her beauty just like the male lead. Then you get mad because IU literally plays the most annoying character, you want to shake some sense into her, tell her she should be respectful - but then, when she expresses her thoughts, you understand her. Her opinion is quite reasonable, in fact, maybe you'll feel the same as her, it's just that she is more blunt about it. Then again, this is why he fell in love with her in the first place, isn't it.I really hoped their date would end quickly because it was frustrating to see him bury his self-respect, and in the end, I wondered if he really liked her or if he just liked being liked by a younger, prettier girl. Even at the end, when he has nothing left, I still questioned whether his feelings were real or not. This one is the weakest episode, but maybe the most memorable.

A little porn, a little incest, a lot of weird

Going in, not knowing what to expect, the first episode hits you quite in the face. People are moaning, people are getting seduced, but at the end you just really focus on IU's unexplained determination to win this tennis game against her father's fiancé. It was frustrating and it makes you hope the 20 min. pass by quickly, but when it's really done, you'll wish for 5 more minutes.I think this is the best episode out of the four.
