I was dreading this Wednesday
This series was absolutely amazing. So accurate to the mangas, I need a season two desperately (it won’t happen). I read the series right after the first episode had aired and enjoyed every moment reading those, it quickly become one of my favorite bl stories and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Taichi and Kohei are absolutely adorable together and their friendship/relationship is so cute. They both have struggles talking about they feel. Taichi pushing Kohei to open up to him and Kohei doing so once he knows he can trust Taichi, Taichi not wanting Kohei to think him being friends with him was just to pity or be little him just because he has a hearing disability. The way Kohei finally had someone who didn’t treat him like he was some kind of alien because of his hearing after being outcasted for so long. Kohei and Taichi have become one of my favorite couples, I love them dearly. This show is such a comfort show to me even thought it stresses me out a bit. It’s not common I’d say to have a series about someone with a disability and I’m so glad that this series was made into a live action. This and the movie will always be a favorite. Was this review helpful to you?
I knew what I was walking into
This movie was incredibly made. I knew what this movie was about but no one would ever be prepared to watch anything like this. If you are uncomfortable with child sexual assault and/or rape in general I would not recommend watching this but if I’m being honest I don’t think I’d recommend this to anyone. When I walked into this movie I thought it would be the main guy preforming these disgusting acts on kids but I was wrong. My heart breaks for those victims and my heart goes out to them. Just the fact we live in a world with people like that makes my blood boil. The last 20 minutes left me had me sitting on my floor with tears forming in quiteI many opinions about what should happen to sex offenders/rapist, ect. I believe they should be castrated, tortured, then put to death after suffering for a long time.

I got recommended this a few times & I didn’t plan on watching it but I decided to give it a chance. I came into this show expecting a lot of spicy scene (because I’ve seen clips on TikTok) and besides the sex scenes that I felt awkward watching it was a really interesting series and the character development of Type was surprisingly good. Although there are many problematic things in this series. The whole issue with Tharn constantly getting on top of Type even though Type was clearly uncomfortable. Like if you wanna fuck with Type because he is homophobic fine you do that but if you’re literally getting on top of him and he’s telling you to stop and get off of him and he was very clearly uncomfortable and scared GET THE FUCK OFF OF HIM. Great series
I’m late to The Boyfriend train but I binged it yesterday. I don’t care for reality tv but I was curious, it’s very obvious that many people are going to misunderstand Shun and his actions and yes there were some times where I was like “Shun common” but as someone who had been in toxic relationships I understand Shun and I don’t think him setting boundaries for Dai is a bad thing. Shun didn’t want to get hurt again so he put walls up to avoid it and that’s completely understandable. He eventually brought those walls lower once he started to trust Dai.Was this review helpful to you?
Rating 8.5/10
So I adore all of mames shows other than TharnType. Although I dont necessarily like mame due to her thing with always writing sa/r/m into her characters. I was really looking forward to this series and I had very high expectations for this show but I wouldn’t say they were met. FortPeat have amazing chemistry and did amazing in this series so my thoughts have nothing to do with them. I did not find myself impatiently waiting for each episode to come out like I do for most series, I found the last episode a bit boring to say the least. I don’t think this series was terrible but I don’t think it’s the most amazing series ever I feel like this series had a lot of potential, the visuals were beautiful and I loved all the characters. If I’m going characters for characters, I’d say I like Tongrak and Mahasamut more then Sky & Prapai but I think Love in the Air is the better series. I probably won’t rewatch this series anytime soon but I think it’s worth watching if someone was to come across it one day.Was this review helpful to you?
