The Villain: Time
Was expecting a happy ending but this is just the reality of life. You don't always end up with your first love, you change, you grow up, you forget and move on. But the people you met will always be part of who you are now. I know we watch dramas to get away from reality, but I think after time I will recover from their sad ending and realize it’s not really sad. They loved each other, and that’s all that matters. They gave each other strength, and she showed her daughter that strength as well. While I admit that I’m broken they didn’t end up together, I would be lying to say that this ending didn’t touch me. This drama was special and will always be special to me. It shows me that in the future if I love something dearly, it was worthwhile and not pointless even if it ends. This drama taught us how precious youth is. it's precious because it'll only be a phase, it'll be the only time where passion and friendship are the only things that matter. that's why you have to treasure it. This type of finale is kind of new. it was heart breaking but beautiful. Thank you for everything, 2521.

What Can I Say
My, this is one of the best things that happened in 2020. I mean the show is lit in every possible way! The story is unique, the screenplay is intriguing, the actors are outstanding & they're holding the pace of the story well! And, it's hilarious as hell! Believe me, Shin Hye-Sun is on another level in this one. I mean I love & admire her acting since Angel's last mission love. But now, after watching her in this one my admiration for her just went double! She's marvelous in her job & she's talented! Period!I dropped watching historical kdrama after Empress ki and scarlet heart's ending but this drama really made me watch historical kdrama again!! Right from the very first episode this show is like a hilarious rollercoaster ride, i love how the balance of drama and comedy is maintained in the show, not a single moment where you feel bored. The lead actors and even the supporting actors especially the court maid and Lady Choi are so fun to watch. Shin hye sun is nailing it in her role as Mr queen. She has a great comic timing and watching her with Jung Hyun aka The king is like a cherry on the top. I love how the show makes you laugh even in the intense scenes. This show is something which every kdrama fans yearned to watch. By far the show is running great and each episode makes you yearn for more. I just hope that the show gets a happy and logical ending. If you love to watch a show with humor and interesting drama then Mr Queen is your ultimate destination you have been waiting for!! Check it out you won't get disappointed at all !! All the best to the entire cast of Mr Queen, they are doing a fantastic job. Let's hope the show keeps us entertained thoroughly :)

Low Expectation
Someday or One Day is my favorite Taiwan drama ever. That being said I had low expectations for this show, like how could this drama be better than that masterpiece, right?Well I think that's exactly what helped when watching this kdrama; I had low expectations. I kept thinking "oh there not gonna do my favorite scene". or "there not gonna add the gay storyline". After finishing the show I had same sort of love that I had for the original. It took me some time to be use to the pacing, but as I watched each episode I was criticizing less and enjoying it more. It seemed as each episode went by the writer was more confident in the story. Slowly the writer added their own take to the beloved remake. Adding their own spin and exciting take on the crazy loophole ride that we go on. The storyline is not destroyed as many remakes do? The original one needed a rewatch for complete understanding but I feel someone who hasn't watched the Taiwan one would understand this because they made Kdrama ver a little more precise and clear.
The acting was amazing especially the last couple of episodes, so many emotions… Props to everyone, especially the main cast as they definitely carried part of the show on their backs.
I wouldn't say it's a perfect remake, but if you’ve never seen the show before I think you’ll enjoy it!

Touching
Binged watched the show the day it came out. I started crying 15 min into the first episode. The amount of respect and care the characters showed while doing their work was amazing. This show gave a insight in how the aftermath of loss of life unfolds on the belongings and the place they lived in and how different people deal with it in different ways. The series has only a few main characters and it shows that you can make a excellent story with just that. The CGIs were so cute , made it easier for us to understand the thought process of the MC. The way range of scenarios were show and carefully covered was amazing. I am so happy with the cast , that they feel perfect for this show , I wish it had more episodes but the character growth and pace was fine so , maybe a season 2 since it has so much potential.
It also beautifully show how much shame and awkwardness is attached to a person's passing that it is often translated into silence, how hush hush the affair of removing the belonging has to be. Trauma Cleaner deserve more respect.
Our priorities are so , our grief is so and passage of time is slow so complicated , that we work on listening to the person through their belongings , after they have passed and how we try to revive memories in them. A lot of unsaid and unknown unravels when someone passes and then it becomes to late for us to know that. It's a must watch series for growth and healing , for I know most of us ,definitely in lives have Not dealt with atleast one loss fully and this may helps us in a way .

Nothing like the Anime
I’ll be honest, the trailer never intrigued me, and I was also lost, wondering if this show was an adaptation from the anime. However when the show came out, I kept hearing good things so I decided to give it a watch. Let’s just say the first episode hooked me within the first 5 minutes. Not just because how action packed the first 5 minutes are, no, because the way it was directed. I could tell this was something hugely different and was nothing like the anime; which made me want to watch it even more.
The best way to sum up this show is saying this show is loosely based on the anime and I don’t know how much from the movie but Parastye: The Grey is more of a expansion to the world that was already built.
With fun different characters the story follows Jeong and Seol who both have different goals in mind, however the two keep meeting because they don’t want to be alone. The two are polar opposites which is why the dynamic works well. Jeong and Seol have different values in mind which helps the two trying to survive this world where they can’t trust anyone but themselves. And Choi she was amazing! She always had great energy and her motivations were clear and soiled.
As for the story, the main takeaway is that your never really alone. Whether you like it or not there will always be someone with you even if it’s forced. Jeong who felt like a monster ever since she was child because of a certain backstory never looked normal to the public, this made her feel like an outsider and resulted in her not getting to closer to anyone. However once the parasite became part of her, the two go on this road of self discovery and learn that they have each other to survive on.
I do highly recommend this show, it’s very good, has lots of cool and great action scenes. Also it’s sort of a quick watch with 6 episodes each around and hour long, it goes by fast!

Webtoon vs Kdrama
I did read the webtoon and with the very first episode I was kind of disappointed, though that didn't stop me from continuing the show. After the first episode, I enjoyed the show a lot more. I don't know if it was just me or that I kept connecting the show and the webtoon together... Anyways the show kept the true meaning of the webtoon which I really appreciate, because it was one my reasons why I love reading Sweet Home. The show also kept a lot of the characters the same with a little mix into it, meaning things were gonna be different from the webtoon. I liked that because I wouldn't be able to expect things to happen. The ending was also very different from the webtoon even though I loved reading that ending, I really loved the ending they did for the show. They left it more open meaning there could be a season 2, hopefully!Overall It is a great show with a hidden meaning. If you do not like the first episode like me I recommend you try the second episode. I hope there is another season and everyone in the show did such a great job!

“Run into your Unknown”
Yes, this is the best kdrama you will ever watch.I don’t even know where to begin because this show has literally EVERYTHING! You want romance? They got it. Comedy? They got it. Drama? You best believe they got it. Fantasy, Mystery, and Thriller? Of course!
I’m writing this week before the show ends, hoping I can take my time to review everything I love about this show and why I think the show is a must-watch! The first thing that I should mention is that there is a familiarity when it comes to Lovely Runner from your favorite kdramas, such as Twinkling Watermelon, Strong Woman Do Bong Song, 20th Century Girl, Twenty-Five Twenty-One, and My Lovely Stranger. Yet, besides all of that, this show is very different. It’s nothing like the shows I mentioned. I don’t want to give much away since this is a spoiler-free review, but it’s safe to say there’s a lot of familiarity with the show, BUT there is also a lot of originality. The Twist and Turns… When I say this show is unpredictable, I genuinely mean it. When I tell you I did not expect a reveal so soon at the end of the 2nd episode, I knew that this show would continue blowing my expectations; I was not wrong. Every week, this show continued to surprise us in the best way possible. For a Romantic Comedy with Fantasy and thriller, the show thrives in everything! I have watched many dramas, and what feels like forever, it truly feels like you’re watching true love. What Imsol and Sunjae have feels and looks natural. When I watch each episode, I feel like I’m watching these two people fall in love repeatedly. It makes me all giddy inside as the two try desperately to hold on to each other.
Speaking of Imsol and Sunjae, let's speak about the beautiful actors who portray them. Kim Hye-Yoon, THE WOMAN YOU ARE! I've actually been following this show since it was announced because of Hye-Yoon. I'm a big fan of her and happy to see her get the recognition she deserves since I believe she is one of the best actors I have ever seen (watch her in Sky Castle; there's no better example). Hye-Yoon always gives it her all and works endlessly to provide us with the best results. I mean, the fact I could tell which Imsol she was playing, I think, says it all. This girl has RANGE. Hye-Yoon plays Imsol with so much love, as someone once commented, "The person who loved Seonjae more than anyone else and understood Imsol more than anyone else was Kim Hye-yoon." Not to mention, this show would not have existed without her. She is the reason why we have this fantastic show to watch. For apparent reasons, I think a lot of the spotlight is more on Byeon Woo-Seok. Still, I hope Hye-Yoon doesn't get forgotten when this is all done and shines as much as him because she deserves it.
Now Woo-Seok, I've been a fan of him since 20th Century Girl. I'd seen his work before the movie, and he always stood out to me with his acting; maybe his height helped a little, too. I genuinely appreciate Wook-Seok for bringing to life a character that feels fresh and exciting to watch. When I say, his portrayal of Sunjae being the GREENEST FLAG THERE IS, I'm not kidding. He indeed wears his heart on his sleeves, and with his facile expression, he is easy to read. Something to mention is that these two actors have to play teenagers, young adults, and adults, which is already impressive. The two perfectly play the awkward years and the maturing times. The two both play their character with love and innocence with a little of a rough side.
As I currently listen to the music on repeat, yes, on repeat, because the soundtrack is that good. It evokes emotions that remind me of everything I love about this show. The young love that lasts through the years, the heartbreak, the joy, and the anticipation. It's hard to put everything I feel through words as I try to write, but I want to mention that I love every song dearly, and they share a core memory. A memory I hope to not forget.
So, in conclusion… yes, I highly recommend this show!!! Now go watch!!!

Will Forever Stay With Me
The beginning of each scene was engaging and the plot that unfolds leaves you wondering what happens next. The storyline is very much like goblin so can't really say it's original but it was still interesting nonetheless. A lot of plotlines from the other characters and the ghosts from the hotel were thrown at me but I was more interested in finding out about Man Weol's past. I must admit that I did think the overall storyline of the drama was kinda confusing and even after finishing it there were still some things that didn’t make sense. I do think that the show spent too much time focusing on the storylines of the ghosts who would come into the hotel. Like sometimes they were interesting but I wanted to see more of Man Weol and Gu Chan Sung, damnit! The CINEMATOGRAPHY is beyond beautiful. There wasn't a single seeing that wasn't any short of wonderful. Even the boring scenes we're nice to look at because of the amazing production that went into the sets.
The COSTUME DESIGN was exquisite. The main cast always looked good but IU's wardrobe was on another level. Her clothes matched her character so well. She definitely looks the part. Gu Chan Sung wore suits most of the time but hey you can never go wrong with a suit ;)
The ACTING was excellent(I figured if IU is in this it will be good), and the scenes between the Man-wol and Chan-sang were so enchanting to watch. Each interaction between them was truly captivating. I couldn't get enough of them both on the screen together. I love their chemistry.
The OSTs are literally so amazing I have no words. every song was right for the scene it was put in. The music truly transported you into the story as you were watching. Taeyeon's "all about you" and Paul Kim's "so long" are my favorites. Punch's "another day" was very good also. This is the first drama where I actually like all the osts.
OVERALL Many shows and movies talk about life and death, but nothing stuck with me the most than Hotel Del Luna. I appreciate this drama so much, I can not explain what it means to me. This show will always be stay with me, and I will force my future kid to watch it.
For those who are wondering to watch it, please do. Everything about this show is beautiful and is perfect!
