This lucky girl... And I thought no one would ever top Park SeonJoon!? She must have a magic aura
because everything I see her in she has perfect chemistry with her lead actor. I really really loved What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim and didn’t think I’d like her with another actor besides Park Seon Joon. I absolutely loved Kim Jae Wook in this role. He’s like the male version of Park Min Young ! Perfect for a super romantic K Drama. I pretty much drooled every time he was on the screen (sorry Park Seon Joon) The love story with the two leads was so well written.. very honest and they never lied, or gave up on each other. I really liked how grown up and mature the relationship was. The icing on the cake was Park Min Young fan girling over One who was her k pop crush... she was just perfect in this role! The chemistry was amazing and whoa those steamy kiss scenes.. not the usual for a K drama ... I will def hope they film
together again- you can’t find that kind of chemistry very often!

The Reason I started watching C-Drama!

This is my first C-Drama I have ever watched. I came across it on Netflix and it looked interesting so I started watching. Usually, I have not really been interested in Chinese Dramas as they are much longer dramas than I am used to. I loved every minute of this drama. I keep hearing the theme song in my head even a year later. I loved the characters so much in this drama. I am happy to see I am not the only one obsessed with Meteor garden. It has thousands of fans all over the world. Dylan Wang and Shen Yue are just the perfect match. Although they spend a large part of the drama bickering their chemistry is off the charts. The bickering is hilarous and adds so much the their plot. They shine every time they are on the screen together and I was totally enchanted with them. I loved all of the F4 characters as well. I really liked that they all got their own stories but it was kind of forced. They are truly charasmatic actors and I would love to see a spin off with more of their storylines. They deserved better - the storylines they got were boring and actually distracted from the main plot.
You will fall in love with Shancai and Dao Ming Si. There is no doubt from beginning to end that they would be together. They had amazing chemistry even when they were fighting. He is arrogant and brooding and she just rocks his world when she doesn't fall for him and cow tow to him. I love watching him just try to wrap his head around her....He is so drawn to her from the very beginning but can't get passed his pride. The actors that play the leads are just so darn cute! The storyline is great... (aside from the attempt to give F4 guys thier own love stories of course) I especially love when Dao Ming Si's sister comes into the story. Dee Hsu is just awesome! She is the big sister that everyone should have. She gets Dao Ming Si and loves him dearly. She also doesn't let him get away with anything. She puts him in his place when he is wrong and stands by him 100 percent when he tries to do the right thing. She is a scene stealer when she is on screen and adds so much humor to the story. It has just the right amount of humor, angst, passion and a happy ending!
This is a mega hit in China and all over the world so you won't regret watching it!

The cutest and best C drama I have seen this year!

I have been thrilled with C-Dramas this year! They have been giving K dramas a run for thier money this year:) I was just finished with "Dating in the Kitchen" and I didn't think I would find a C Drama I liked as much as that and "Meteor Garden" And then I found "You are my Hero" I was hooked from the very beginning. I have never seen any drama with Sandra Ma or Bai Jing ting before and now I want to see them together more and more. I can't even explain how good their chemistry is...They were so natural and fun together I smiled every episode. First, he is adorable...He is perfect in this role and it would never have been the same without him. He was perfect in every scene. Secondly, he was totally charmed by Sandra Ma in every scene. You would think they were really a couple. I love how he can't keep his eyes off of her in every scene. For the first few episodes he hides it but once they confess thier feelings that is when it gets even better. No love triangles or annoying past tragedy...just two people developing together honestly while caring for each other. They were totally committed to each other and never wavered and I just loved that. Sandra Ma was just perfect...her smiles and giggles will captivate you as much as they did Bai Jin.
Every giggle, smile, and hug was so natural. Their chemistry was just perfect. They were both playing characters new to dating and they played thier roles perfectly.

The hero storyline will just capture your heart and make you so proud of our emergency response teams. I know people compare this to Korea's DOTS but it really isn't the same...Maybe an Earthquake... but ..Hello? Asia... earthquakes happen.. So, he is a SWAT policeman and she is a doctor... The respect they have for each other and their respective careers will give you additonal heart flutters. They never get mad about schedules or priorities which is so wonderful. The respect they have for each other's work is so meaningful and special.

You wont' want to skip one scene! I usually fast forward or skip through chinese dramas as they tend to be so long. I found myself rewinding many scenes to watch them over again! I loved this drama so much! I wanted to rewatch moments or disussions they characters were having as they were so adorable and the script was amazing. The side storylines were great too...they had two other couples with equally strong chemistry and storylines and I was surprised how much I was invested in the other couples as well. They were well developed and fit perfectly into the storyline without being "filler"

I can't say enough about the music for this drama! The ending song is amazing- "Accident"a duet by Leaf and Chen Xueran...yes I liked it so much I googled it. The theme song in the beginning is equally addictive "The Life Journey- Because of you" is the happiest song and has been stuck in my head for a month! yes, it is that good:) I watched it on youtube because I was so obsessed with it. Mostly likely I will download the OST and listen to it which I never do with dramas.

I hope you watch this drama- it is just wonderful and fulfilling in a time where many of us need a happy pick me up. You won't regret watching it. I was so sad when it ended and it had 40 episodes!!

Enjoy this wonderful drama!

watch this for the cast chemistry!

I have read the reviews and yes it’s a trope we’ve seen… but this drama does it perfectly! First of all the cast is stellar! All the characters are so well developed I was sucked into each story as much as the main leads. I loved loved the chemistry with the FL and ML, but the second leads story gave me equal heart flutters… Everything in this drama just worked perfectly - even the Grandpa fit into this just beautifully. He just loves his grandson so much he wants him to be happy… no picky snobbish elitist - he wants his grandson to be happy.. very refreshing…
Here’s the real treat about this drama- the FL and her best friend stole the show for me. They were just adorable… true best friends -no drama,no love triangles just pure fun together. I found myself wanting to watch those two together even more than the romances (which are sizzling) The girls would do anything for each other which is how the FL got into the situation in the first place. The ML
and his best friend the second ML equally as attached and devoted to each other. This drama was so well done - nothing was missed and I am watching it for the 3rd time already. Once all
is revealed the couple works through every obstacle together. No ridiculous plot twists just great character development. Lastly, I dare you to not find the theme song running through your head-‘it’s that addictive!! Enjoy you won’t regret it!

Warning! I love love love this drama so my review is going to be long!
First of all, I can't believe I kept passing over this drama! I think I was reacting to the plot summaries I saw on Viki which led me to believe this was a drama about war. Yes, there are obviously soldiers and doctors in extreme situations in this drama, and yes I loved the action and suspense as these everyday heroes tackle hard situations. It is clear the director respects these professions and wants to show the challenge and perseverance it takes to tackle this hard work . I can't tell you how many people kept telling me to watch this and I just put it off for a rainy day. I am so glad I finally listened and just turned it on one night when I had nothing else to watch. Next thing I know I am binge watching it for 2 days and into the early morning. I actually was so sad when it ended that I immediately started googling everything about it. I became obsessed with everything about this drama. Apparently, this was a massive hit in Korea and I had no idea... I certainly was also surprised when I found out the 2 leads actually fell in love and got married after filming this. Even though they are divorced now their chemistry was off the charts in this drama.

I can't even began to explain how much I love Song Joong Ki after watching DOTS. He is just brilliant in this! His humor and natural ease in the character make you mesmerized every time you see him on the screen. He is boyishly charming, amazingly handsome and steals every scene he is in. He and Song Hye Kyo play off each other beautifully. He teases her and she is always reactive to him which makes for some of the funniest scenes I have every seen. SPOILER! (mine fields, cars wrecks and cliff confessions) They are so seamless with their dialogue and their timing with each other was perfection. They will have you laughing till you cry or holding your heart in every scene.

This drama has one of the best supporting casts I have seen in any drama. The characters are all well developed which is rare for a 16 episode drama. You will fall in love with the medic crew and become invested in their stories as much as the leads. The secondary leads Jim Goo and Kim Ji Won are a beautiful story line and completely different than the lead couples which makes a nice change of pace during the episodes. They are absolutely gorgeous together and stay true as a couple the entire time. Even in typical K drama fashion when one always is giving up something for the other...They always are thinking only of each other...sigh...
If the amazing acting, great script and wonderful characters (aside from the horrible European actors -which is why 9.5- why can't they hire better western actors in K dramas?) haven't grabbed your attention just wait for the breathtaking cinematography. The amazing locations and direction make this drama stand out from every other drama I have seen ,even Goblin(yes I went there)which I loved as well. I felt I was watching a Hollywood production rather then a 16 episode K drama. The story is great and the ending is just perfect! Oh, and the soundtrack is one of the best I have ever enjoyed...I can't hear "You are my Everything" by Gummy without thinking of this show. The OST is amazing and I would listen to any of these songs again..As I am writing this review I am re-watching it for the 5th time...and for sure not my last...just sayin...

This rom com was totally carried by the amazing actors! I noticed a lot of bad reviews and just had to write my own to really explain why this cute show is worth watching. Yes the music at times overpowers the actors voices, yes the sound effects are ridiculous, yes the story is a bit weak... not feeling Lee Yoo Mi actually wants or even likes to cook. Yeah... we didn’t need yet another mother abandons her son storyline... “as if” anyone would leave behind Sung Hoon? So all that aside thank goodness for the actors amazing chemistry.. it’s the entire reason I binge watched this in a weekend! Let’s forget the fact that I totally now obsessed with Sung Hoon because of this drama! (I might stalk him on instagram;) He is literally perfect looking like a greek god... Aside from
his amazing looks, this guy is so funny! He totally is perfect as the super conceited rich Company Director. He and his secretary (Park Shin Woon) stole every scene they are in. I loved the side relationship with Park Shin Woon and his kitchen love Im do yoon ... They... were.... perfect. And boy this story needed the distraction they provided. Song Ji Eun and Sung Hoon was great in this and she matched his comedic sense well. I liked the storyline with her mother.. it was unusual and gave her character a little more depth. Thank goodness for the cast though because the story was pretty weak. The chemistry between the leads was off the charts - hello steamy car scene - whoa! that is what kept me coming back each episode. The story got a bit off track but I was super happy with the ending. Now just put these two back together in a drama without the insane musical track, weird sound effects and it will be a smash! I look forward to seeing them work together again.
