big is boring

They are really stretching this out. The significant parts of the last 3 episodes could have easily fit into one episode, WITH time to spare! waiting for Kang Gyung Joon to find out the truth about his birth is not exciting. Watching him just miss opportunities to find the truth (the dropped photo, his father at the hospital) isn't even frustrating, i'm just bored by the bad/lazy/cliché writing.

The romance is also so boring. They have officially lost all their original chemistry. Now Gil Da Ran just sulks over how cute Gong Yoo is. All the fun flirting is over, now they just avoid their true feelings. Gong Yoo continues to be my only reason for watching, while Lee Min Jung becomes harder and harder to watch.

The romantic scene between the other two teachers was kinda cute, but extremely corny.

I've lost all faith in this drama now. I think only a true Gong You fan would continue to watch this, of which I am one. I will keep watching, but the thrill is gone.

so cute, but with surprising depth

I love all the triangles & cute love stories in this show. At the same time I hate the older brother for even being a possibility in this story. Dating your dead sisters little sister is kinda gross in my opinion, plus Yoon Jae is such a cute character.

I also cried a couple of times during the cancer scenes. The mom's phone message really touched me. I never expected that a drama this cute, and silly, could make me cry, but it did.

I feel like the only one old enough to actually feel nostalgic about the 90's, and I haven't been disappointed by an episode yet.

Epic Kiss!

I seriously can't get enough of Hyun Bin & Kim Sun Ah together. Even the most cliché & predictable moments feel so real because they are such good actors.

I watched the drunk scene between the two of them, leading to the kiss, 3 times in a row. I cheered aloud when Sam Soon initiated the kiss, and left Jin Hun in shock. That was a K-Drama first for me.

The only major failure in this episode for me that too much screen time is given to Jung Ryeo Won & Daniel Henney. Their english is the best part of their acting.

I'm about to lose more sleep because I can't wait to watch the next episode!

not your average love story

what I really like about this drama is how complicated the relationship between the main characters has become. It's very realistic. Unlike other dramas i've seen, that go from hate/indifference to destined love, this one explores all the complicated in betweens.

The realization that they should probably live separately is finally setting in. It's heartbreaking, not in a tearjerking way, but it's still emotional. When you're confused about your feelings how can you be clear about them with someone else? Maybe the fact that I've had a similar friendship plays a role, but I've slowly fallen in love with this drama.

Epic tragedy, but i'm loving every moment of it

This drama took it's time building up just the right amount of backstory to make sure you feel every tragic moment. This is the point of the story where we are right back where it started at the beginning of the series. This episode left me shocked, & depressed, but gave me just enough hope to have me eager to watch the next episode. I have no idea what to expect, and that's why I love this drama. And kudos to the cast for making it all 100% believable.

she's feeling bad enough, now fire??!!!

I loved Lee Kak confronting Tae Mu. I sighed when Lee kak told Bak Ha not to like him, but I'm glad he explained it all to her. His initial reaction was so thoughtful, but some of the scenes after the confession seemed repetitive. I like seeing Se Na get left and ignored, but fire???!!! The fire was a little over the top, as was the cliff hanger ending, but I can tell something good is coming.

90% boring

It seems like I'm watching these characters doing the same things over & over again! I'm tired of watching Ma Ri act like fatal attraction jr. I'm tired of Choong Sik following Ma Ri around. Watching Gyung Joon & Da Ran argue about maturity is getting old. I'm also tired of the comatose body of Gyung Joon. Can something new, and significant, please happen?

We do learn that Yoon Jae's Mom was involved in Gyung Joon's birth, and It's implied that they are brothers. Was Gyung Joon born just to save Yoon Jae? Is that the significance of the angel story? This small revelation was a little anti-climactic because It feels like too little too late. I wish they wouldn't keep stretching this part of the story out. More time is spent on silly scenes than the actual plot.

The most exciting part of this episode imo was the cute walkman scene at the end. Teacher Gil finally realizes that she has feelings for Gyung Joon, but it still ends without anything significant happening - except intense staring.

I really hope this episode was slow in order to set up a really great episode 10. I love watching Gong Yoo too much to ever drop this drama, but after this episode, I was kinda tempted to.

This is why I go by the 5 episode rule.

I was not convinced that I would like this drama until the end of this episode. The first episode was honestly a struggle to get through. The other episodes were silly, sometimes cute, but I was not impressed. I love both leads, and saw all the high ratings, but I remained unconvinced until this episode. This is exactly why I try to watch at least 5 episodes before completely dropping a drama. After the rumor shenanigans, and the fake kiss at the end, i'm hooked! lol.

Perfect: Rewatching a favorite

This episode is an introduction to all the main characters and I loved every moment of it! From the moment Eun-Chan declares that she's a girl, and is still not believed, I knew I would love this gender bender. I like that coffee prince takes a non traditional route, and instead of having the main character purposely pretend to be a boy, it's just a casual misunderstanding that she goes with when it works to her advantage. She's an interesting lead from the start.

I love Gong Yoo's charm, and his playful chemistry with Yoon Eun Hye is already starting. I love how Lee Sun Gyun & Chae Jung Ahn's past relationship is set up, while their relationships with the main leads are also established.

I can understand people getting confused by all the characters that are introduced, but I was not. Instead I was curious about how all the relationships would intertwine. Is Choi Han-Gyul in love with his cousin's ex? How will it work out if one cousin knows Eun-Chan is a girl, and the other is convinced she's a boy?

i like that Eun-Chan confuses the dogs gender, and thought that was also a nice writer's touch.

I think the acting & writing is strong from the start, and by the end of the episode I want to immediately watch episode 2 (Just like the first time). That's saying a lot, since I already know what's going to happen next : p

Not so predictable...

I thought this was a really good episode. Since there have been so many similar plots over time, and I've seen so many of them, I expected this drama to be much more predictable. This episode caught me completely by surprise. I really love the ending, with the cliché (yet unexpected) time leap, because now I literally have no idea what to expect next. I can't wait to see the next episode, and that's the best feeling when watching a drama.

I also loved the stolen kiss. A real "first" kiss in a kdrama is the rarest of things. Each episode reminds me why Gong Yoo is my favorite. The first scene where he drags her away... *sigh*. Even though he kept his shirt on for the whole episode, he can still make a girl swoon.

good but slow

The only reason I am not bored is because I like the bittersweet romance, and the characters, but it is clear that they are stretching this out. Not only is the story progressing slowly, but even the dialogue is frustratingly slow. It can take a minute to get out a complete sentence, or half the episode to reveal one thought.

I hate when dramas overstay there welcome and start becoming repetitive. I'm sure this story would have been a 9 if they fit it into 16 episodes, but now it's feeling more and more like a 7 to me.

impending doom ftw!

I'm surprised this is so exciting, considering the young cast. I love how the characters & relationships are being set up, though the politics still confuse me. I didn't expect to get hooked this quick, but i already am.

It's all about the ending...

This episode if full of frustrating, and awkward scenes, but the end makes it all worth it. It's still one of my all time favorite drama moments!

The reason for my addiction.

This was my very first KDrama, and this episode is what made me realize I was about to become a KDrama addict. Now that I'm rewatching it, there are so many scenes in episode 6 where I literally swooned, and I can rewatch some parts again , and again.

Other story lines also develop nicely during this episode, and the characters I love to hate show more depth, earning some empathy from me.

Some moments may be a little over the top with sweetness for romance fans, but I can imagine any girl wishing they had a Jin Ho during "certain times".

It's clear that JIn Ho & Gae In's relationship is about to become complicated by feelings beyond friendship during this episode, and the ending is a great one. I just love watching the chemistry between these two in this episode.

ridiculous, in a good way.

I like watching the parallel story lines. I love not being able to predict what's going on. I already love to hate the evil sister. I love the fabulous 4 out to solve a mystery, and the crazy ending.

I already can't wait to see what happens next, and what new parts of the mysterious past will be revealed.

What a great start!
