It's worthy of your time
First of all, please be aware that this is an advertisement short film, so there will be a focus on certain product during the film.
I have to say I was pleasantly surprised seeing Suzy took part in the screenwriting of this, especially considering how she previously mentioned writing short stories and scripts were one of her hobbies. The story itself is pretty easy to get and doesn't really go deep, although the deepness may depend on your personal interpretation and correlation with your own experiences. There's an unexpected breakup and we see young Su Ji going through every phase of it until she reaches happiness again.
What I truly enjoyed about this short film was how, even with a very little amount of lines, every feeling, whether it's anger, sadness or happiness, was perfectly portrayed and intensified with an amazing sound mixing. That last one is definitely my favorite aspect of all, because it transports you to the scene.
Overall, 'If My Things are at Your Place We're Not Over' was a great use of 12 minutes of my life and I personally liked the final message that being happy with yourself (and obviously Lancome's products haha) is enough.
