Overhyped you say? NAURR
This was my first ever call for any sort of LGBTQ+ series. I watched it while it was airing like the second last episode maybe..? not sure nvm. I was randomly going through the reviews and saw how many negative ones are there- And for that I couldn't resist myself from writing something in defense...Mostly people call this 'overhyped', if you are into bl a long before this aired then sure, I too admit that if I were you I would have reacted the same way. But as someone who for the first time ever say two men out of nowhere be in a relationship and KISS I freaked out lol. Before that I had no idea something like this existed too. Trust me and I am not embarrassed to say this cause that's the environment I grew up in. Here, still, this is regarded as a disease among the elders (new genzs not included ofc) And for that I am so grateful that this was the first thing I watched. Let me be precise, there must be a reason why for many of us this is the first bl series and can't just be hyped for no reason right?
For the answer, let me say that this is the exact kind of story, genre, environment, and cast (lol) for someone's first... No one will (at least I won't) like watching TharnType or Manner of Death or maybe Kinnporsche as their first thing into a total new sexual oriented community. This one has that slow, lovely and warmly coded atmosphere that made me feel at home in a total new world... I am so lucky that they made such a series because since then I became an active Lgbtq ally myself and could throw the hell of narrow-minded homophobic hypocrites away from me lol.
And lastly, how can I not love this when this introduced me to my one and only man (thai (let me pretend Ohm Pawat is not here)) Win Metawin 5555

Even if the plot feels less fanfictional than the webtoon version I kind of prefer the series... I have my reasons like in the webtoon Ji-hyuk's character wasn't really shown as the genre was biased to revenge but as the series is basically Rom-com, the plot is really showing the character 'Ji-hyuk' ... Many are dropping it cause of the 'unreasonable' entry of Ji-hyuk's ex fiance but in my opinion we needed it to know more about his character. Ngl ep 12 was really frustrating and just like most (former) female leads' behavior, Ji Won way of handling made be go all crazy... But I kinda get it ig.... Overall I think the minor changes were quite needed and let's hope it can satisfy us till the end!Today was the last airing and I finished watching it... I am really satisfied with the plot specifically the death of Min-hwan made it really satisfying compared to that in the webtoon... Also Ji-hyuk's ex -fiancé's plot was quite well shown! Whoever changed the plot into this one I must say they did a great job... Likewise I too, am changing my prejudgment.

THE BEST MAFIA THEMED SERIES FOR SURE
I am writing this after a year.... And you can already imagine what the series is for me that I can watch it again and again.... When it said the series was not going to be released because of production problem I was mad as heck but the series was WORTH OF ALL THE WAITING! The cast , their chemistry, plots, quality altogether it was the best of BE ON CLOUD and always will be! Hoping for Season 2.... If u are new in this BL WORLD this will make u fall in love with this world. I used to prefer only fluffy, all white, student life or mid 20s' BL SERIES ( but I was a HUGE THARNTYPE & MANNER OF DEATH fan then also lol) as I started with 2gether and used to just watch Gmmtv, Studio Wabi Sabi and Rookies Thailand's series and used to think these MAFIA themed series are not my type but this series proved me wrong! Now I am obsessed with BE ON CLOUD !!! If you are hesitant because of Mafia genre I assure you that you will loveee it! GO FOR ITWas this review helpful to you?
