Loved It LOL
Okay. I agree with some parts of the reviews posted. This is a super cheesy show with flaws. Full of tacky one liners, classic story pit falls (ie. ex-girlfriend revenge for "stealing" boyfriend) and just general far fetched events. BUT don't take this show too seriously and you will love it. I think for a funny romcom the acting was pretty good. There was a lot of eye candy which was nice. The sexy scenes were HOT and the actors seemed pretty comfortable. I haven't seen too many of these BL's with this much kissing and not Korean style either. So if you don't take this series too seriously, want a happy ending, and to giggle a bit then I suggest this title. This is not stylistic, accurate, and super good quality series but a funny put a smile on your face one.Was this review helpful to you?

Really Well Done BL
The BL genre has exploded and there have been a bunch of low budget series that are thrown together but this is not one of them. What I liked is that it tackled some really tough issues really well. It was short and sweet but not full of a lot of fluff. The productions quality was decent for a simple series. The chemistry was okay but good enough to be an enjoyable watch. The secondary characters are not really developed but developed enough. Not sure if they will do a season 2 but I would watch it if they did. I really enjoyed this series. I thought the title was tacky and initially passed up this series but was glad I circled back around. It's a recommended watch for me.Was this review helpful to you?
Thought Provoking
This is a story that explores many themes. It's a slow moving story. It's about love and healing but so happens the two main characters who fall in love are two men in their mid to late 20's. It's not a coming out story, doesn't address homophobia ect. I don't think the work gay was used or do we even know if either person ever had a relationship in the past with same sex though it seems not. Filming was beautiful and set in a lovely country town. Starts with one of the main characters returning home after leaving a unsatisfying job in Tokyo to return to the small town he grew up in. He doesn't have the best relationship with his dad because he rejected the small town and his dad professional business making furniture to pursue the big city life. Second lead is a man who was adopted as a young adult to a older person who owns and runs a farm. They both form a bond of friendship, grown, learn and the relationship grows as they learn to let go and learn to love. It's really a beautiful story. One of the mains is a well known Japanese actor too. Not a sexy film but a emotional, loving, and sweet film. So glad to see films that aren't dark and tragic or overly dramatic. It's a slow ride but a nice one into their lives.Was this review helpful to you?

Super sweet
This is a short drama about two boys who meet during their countries lockdown due to this global pandemic. I like how these short pandemic stories also encourage safety issues too and self care. They even had a zoom for mindfulness meditation which is appreciated. Acting was good. Production quality was pretty good. Was a simple story with few actors. No filler drama or negativity. Storyline was really sweet with a lovely happy ending. They had chemistry for sure. Both boys were super cute. Hoping for a season two as they are both so likeable it would be nice to be able to follow their relationship some.Was this review helpful to you?

Super Cute
This is a short, sweet and simple story line of the wave of BL's that have come out recently. I like that it's not all about the pandemic. I like that the girlfriend didn't turn out to be a psycho like so many BL's where they are shallow and want revenge. In the beginning, the gf did seem shallow and self-centered but then you realize that it was a failing and unfulfilling relationship. The friends were cool and added to the storyline. I did not think I would enjoy a BL series where they were virtual for almost the whole series AND no kissing but I did. The emotional chemistry and quality of acting between the two leads was really good and kept me satisfied. During this stressful times I really am gravitating to uplifting shows. It also never used the word gay but love. I think it's well worth watching especially for those new to BL.Was this review helpful to you?
Very enjoyable BL
This is a very short series. Production was decent but dark and hard to watch at times. I wished all the story lines were developed more as there was a lot there to explore but it was still satisfying to watch. Acting and music were good. Tackled some difficult issues like homophobia in asian community, school bullying, suicide attempt, apathetic school officials, coming out, ect. It was emotional but I wouldn't say it was dark like a lot of LBGTQ dramas. Made you think but also warmed your heart at the same time. I would recommend this series.Was this review helpful to you?
Better then expected
This is a short series. Pace was a little strange and went from 5 to 10 within a short time. Acting was okay. What a liked was the premise and that it did tackle some bigger issues. Had some cute parts and one liners that made me smile. What I didn't like was the lack of chemistry and parts seemed forced between the actors physically. Emotionally they went from appearing removed to love very quickly for Jim which seemed far etched. The girlfriend was so clueless. That being said I don't think I would rewatch the show but I did enjoy it. It seemed to have a small budget but the filming looked good. It's a cute BL and I don't think it was time wasted at all. I would watch a season 2 and am looking forward to it. These lower budget short BL series are still nice to watch.Was this review helpful to you?
Super cute BL
This is a short series but I felt satisfied. The production quality was good, plot cute, writing pretty good and acting okay. Had some drama but not too over the top. As in many BL the girlfriend is so over the top vicious and this is not the case so it doesn't necessarily fall into a lot of the BL themes going around. Definitely a coming out and growth story told in a unique way. Mondo is super cute and the other male lead is hot. I overlooked some of the tackiness for a cute love story. I did re-watch it as it's short and satisfying. Will put a smile on your face.Was this review helpful to you?
