Oh man, I watched this drama years ago, I was around 11 or 12.... I’m now 20 so yeah its been a while. And even if so many years has passed I still can’t forget the beauty and impact this drama had on me. I still cant forget the story or the characters; and obviously the emotions I felt by watching it. Because it’s a total ride of emotions!!

What makes this drama so hard to watch is that you are watching knowing what is happening to Aya and what her ending is going to be; and man it’s so hard. You get mad and frustrated because you know there’s nothing they can do for her, and watching how her illness takes control of her body is just so.... heartbreaking.

I totally recommend this, its a gem of a story waiting to be watched. Not gonna lie, I didn’t cried. I BAWLED. Like ugly ugly BAWLING. So be prepared with tissues because oh boy, you gonna need it.

One Liter of Tears has been the ONLY tv series (in general) that has left such an impact on me. I cried for Aya, I sympathized with her family and I shared the pain with Asou. There wasnt a moment that I felt that story or acting was lacking, I enjoyed every second.

The only reason I gave this such a low score in Rewatch Value was because, even if it has been years I still havent got the courage to watch it again.... This drama is totally not a easy watch; I honestly felt emotionally drained every episode. But even after all that, you will feel thankful for the simplest things in your life.

This drama is a beautiful homage to the life of the real Aya Ikeuchi.
