i really enjoyed my time watching this drama , i found it intresting and funny , the actors did a great job portraying their characters
the story was quiet addictive and unique
however it has it's flaws
first of all , I had a hard time trying to stick my face into the screen at the first few episodes of the show , it was slow and dragging and the main character was so annoying and arrogant , but if you manage to get through that the story with get intersting and addictive
also , the main couple had an extremly weird chimesty and I found them really awkward sometimes , you will notice either that eun sung ( the female lead ) and the second lead that i forgot his name had even more chimestry then the main couple , he even helped her a lot through her journey while the lead was giving her a hard time but for some reason they always fall for the bad guy
the music was good enough but not epic ,it fits the situation but it just does't improve your experience and does't move any kind of emotion , at least for me
for the rewatch value , i don't think that i will rewatch this drama ever again althought it was a good drama , since there will be no suspence and all the secrets are already reveiled but i guess it depends on the person for there's some peaople who just enjoy the funny moments and the romance more than the story itself
overall i found this drama very good , addictive and i highly recommand it , believe me you will experience all kind of emotion from happiness to sadness to the urge to kill the evil step mother with your bare hands

when i first started this drama ofter reading the descreption i was exited and honestly the first episodes lifted to my expectation , but then the series just became boring and rediculous due to the lack of chemestry between the two main leads and the fact that they made fool of the NIS agents that they made them look as if they were a bunch of children playing hide and seek , an other thing that i didn't like is that the main lead played by joo won was hopeless and really stupid , i know that it was supposed to be a comedy so there must be some misunderstandings and hilarious situation but sometimes it just feels pethatic instead of funny , however I won't deny that i had some good time watching this drama and especially at the begennig , i laughed so hard until my eyes were full of tears and i really enjoyed the very few action seens dispite it was supposed to be a spy drama so my advise is don't be fooled by the dicription , the drama is totally diffrent , if you want some light drama with some funny moment and no actual depth it's for you , but if you seek a story that keeps you on the edge and leaves a huge emotional impression , then i don't recommand it .

i must say that seeing the serie's name "gu family book" i didn't expect what i found, i thought it's the average story of a supernatural creature searching for a way to be human and i only watched it because i was running out of dramas to watch, but i was amazed by what i found, at first i was hooked by seo hwa/ wol ryung love story , it was trajic and beautiful and full of emotions and i really wished they were the lead couple , but then kang chi's story began , and again i found myself attracted to the screen by the beauty of the story , and althought i really liked the show , it has it's flaws , first there still many thing that remined unresolved and they basically forgot about the perpose of the story , second even for a fantasy show there's still some things unbeleivable and some times rediculous ( you'll know when you watch it) and it seems that sometimes they make some rules and then drop them whenever they want to , the acting was outstanding and it seems that lee seung gi has grown as an actor and improved himself , suzy as well has a differant kind of caracter in this show who's self dependant , strong and skilled with martial arts and i think she did a great job , even the support cast was really outstanding , music was beautiful ans suites the drama as well , overall it was a good drama to watch and althought it's not perfect it totally worth it
