Sweet, but empty
When it comes to japanese and korean BLs, I often tend to think they are too ambitious for the amount of screentime they have. Not this one.
Kimi no Koto Dake Mite Itai lasts roughly 80 minutes, but presents a story that could have been done in less than half of that. Its premise is very generic for a BL, and there's nothing much to help the series stand out. There's nothing really memorable about it. Though it's not a huge time investment, i feel like it wasn't worth my time.
I don't have much to complain about when it comes to music, visuals, or acting. Everything is on very decent level. I just can't help but wonder... why? What were the creators trying to make out of this? One thing this show does really well, and that's being vague about stuff without it being infuriating. It's very soft, up to a point of being emotionless. If you just want to watch something that doesn't make you feel or think anything strong, this is it. A show for a lazy day. Otherwise, I don't recommend this to anyone who's short on time and/or wants to feel invested in the story.
