This series is by far my favorite of the Super Sentai franchise. In addition to the silly Japanese wordplay in every episode, there is a lot of underlying comedic tone that adults can enjoy far more than the kids could. The characters have an incredible chemistry and it's really refreshing to see characters with clearly drawn-out flaws that make their adventures compelling episode after episode. The series is a hard-boiled, hilarious take on the franchise and stands up ten years later (!!) better than any series to come after it. It doesn't hurt that all the cast is major eye candy--and to add to that, they seem to know it. They are without a doubt horny teenagers/young twenty-somethings and it definitely adds to the intrigue! Bonus points for giving a lot of attention to the supporting cast--Doggie Kruger and Swan-san!
