This drama have great message. Each episode, you will be an awe of each the storyline and the realism the writers put in each character. This is one of many aspect that makes a drama special. There is a lot of writers who seems excel to create a believable and cohesive story, but they lack soul and heart that make a good story become great. This drama has both from the first scene until the last one credit rolling. without giving us useless gimmick, more focus to the overall narrative . . The only aspect I think is lacking is I wish KBS give the writers more episode to give this drama more justice, so some conflicts would be unfold more subtle and believable. But overall, another great project from the writers among her other drama KBS Drama Special. I hope My Favourite writers will get another awsome project from KBS or any TV station despite the low rating this drama got. She is awesome.

One of the Best well spent Movie I've seen in 2019. I laugh, cried, thrilled and feel for the character. It reach it's full potential in terms of emotional ride, and the most awsome is not forget to insert the little detail into the narrative, make the story become richer. The idea is pretty common, but the execution is mindlowing and full of heart. Imagine if you are in heroes situation when you hardly trying hard in everything you do and you complain every single little thing. But you seems no longer care that much, until you are put in a dangerous situation when your life is on the line Off course, the execution is bit convenient at times. Nevertheless. do Well deserved admission record.

The story and the plot is nothing special. The writing has up and down, The Lines and the way character evolved is not exactly brilliant. It's seems copy paste from the earlier melodrama of the past (yes, It has melodrama element in it) with has rom com touch in earlier episode and make it more approachable to audience who hate melodrama haha. But it's the performances of the ensemble cast that make me stay, along with the Director who at times brilliant executed the ambiance and create the chemistry. The chemistry between the cast also makes this drama enjoyable to watch (The power of the chemistry, heck not only the OTP. ).

There is some compelling narrative going on that makes me stay in the third act, but alas I think the writers is not interested to unfold it better.

It's has good plot. They try to makes sense all the plot and clue they create that the writers forget of how to give a room to each character Narrative, make them to find an engaging emotional ride . lack to give real emotional of this narrative what make experience watching this drama boring . Their trauma and their past is just a background. Instead, They try to expand the remaining hours to add unecesary detail in each case and can't figure out how to give room to creating an engaging emotional depth, which left me never engaged to the story. The cast sell this character emotional conflict and make them interesting.

I have to give them credit for giving the audience a change viewing each character point of view. Also, little tonal shift, stay true to the genre , generally well constructed plot, and a good cast. And
I'm happy though Seo Kang Joon choose another solid drama twice in a row and with solid production and a good cast.

Defending The Third Charm, One of my fav drama this years.

I just want to say it out loud, God, Finally, Seo Kang Joon has good drama under his resume. Finally, there is another a good and solid production who are not see him only as a mere eye candy and rely only on his looks. Finally, there is writers who believe in him to carry a good and layer character. He might be not one of the best actor. But a young and dedicate actor like him need this kind of experience. He has been trapped in eye candy / fancy roles for years, and unable him to expand his range. Well played, show, well played. (Now if Only my fav writers like Park Yeon Seon or Jung Ha Yeon cast him as a lead or only supporting haha) I should believe in you writers. After all, this is a writers who is responsible to penned a brilliant short melodrama Like A Fairy tale.

At times. Just because you want it, You will get it. you will not always got what you have been planning to. Just because you don't want how the story flow, it's make the drama bad. It's audience problem, who can't accept different execution. The vision between marketing and writers/ production often times is not the same. So you just can enjoy what writers want to present and convey, and don't judge drama based on what's been promoted.

Finding love is not about trying hard, like we always do when we are in school. In school, You get good grades and result when you try hard. Finding love is not only involving one person, but involving the other party. If one person is not in the same footing with you, you can't force them to be in the same shoes, neither you can force yourself to someone to fit idealism of your surrounding.

At times Love is come when we didn't expect coming. You are trying hard to hook to the other person, but end up with the one person you didn't expected.

People mistakenly label this drama as a romance drama between Joon Young and Young Jae. THe reason is the tittle It's self. The third charm. Just like which has been promoted, The audiences expecting It means the third time they are meet, it somehow will make their love story eventually work. But It's not . It's not about them overcome their difference.

It's also not about fate love , true love, or whatever. The tittle is misleading. The poster is misleading. It's not about their love story. It's about Joon Young's journey, or every character in this drama about find the meaning about love. I indicate that, the third charm means Is the third party as the charm. I realize how the third party always playing a big part into character turning point. Make they eventually realize about something.

People is just doesn't get used to unusual execution romance drama. Because romance drama in korean drama in general is formulaic. Only a few select drama try something different. So when some writers want to makes something different, They aren't get used to it. In SHort, I think I should warn first and foremost, this drama is not for a casual viewers who has a faint heart. Because let's admit it, It's not pure rom com. Don't fool into thinking this drama will be light from start to finish due to the silliness in earlier Episode (God, that silliness is so silly it makes me cringe. I almost drop it because of that). Because it's a actually MELODRAMA, done right. It needs for attention detail to understand the meaning behind character action, and looking for what it is. I think you should stay away with this drama if you aren't get used to a character who take unlikeable decision. WHich explain the low rating this drama gets.

This drama is well written. The character is well written and well played. Especially Joon Young's character. His character emotion is layer, has emotional depth, which is one of the reason Seo Kang Joon shine in this roles. Any good actor will shine through a good roles.

There is some flaws here and there, like the reason and background of why Joon Young love Young Jae so much. I think I agree with some people, the motivation Joon Young love to Young Jae should be more explore by the writers. . And Young Jae story should be more explore and get more emphasis. But Those element never a crucial part in the narrative, so I think that's okay.

About production, Pyo Min Soo is surprisingly doing a good job here for me. I didn't expect it, given how annoyed I was when he directed The producers. Though, at times he can manage to ruin athmosphere and like he is trying to ruin the writers intend to do. He is surpisingly can grasp the subtlety writers want to convey. Some scene is very memorable of how the way they shot and directed, and acted. THe overall performances is good. too.. Seriously, we are blessed that the actor commited to their character. It makes the drama it'self alive.

What a gem little drama. The writers is dare to throw a flawed character on us with unlikeable personality (while if you think about it, they will become a total villain in a another drama) make them become the centre of the story in one family.  a Wife who is unfaithful ? check. A daughter who is a total reckless and inconsiderate? check. A son who is so weak? check. This drama fill with black comedy that will make you laugh due to their of behaviour and different point of view from people surrounding them, because deep down, at times you will agree with them.

One flaw with this drama? This drama is too short, This drama deserve more episode! These character deserve it.

watching this because of Song Joong Ki.

Why I even bother with this drama. Song Joong Ki Rise to fame again and back on the map In Hallyu Status thanks to this drama And I'm as a fan feels gratefull to this drama. . I expecting it since the writers is really good generated buzz in his 2 previous drama and Plus It's Song Joong Ki. Though I admit, I didn't expected to generated this much buzz to the point it's one of the most watched on netflix. But because of this, It might be Along wait again until he reach 40 when he pick something more substance. Gosh the struggle being a fan of him is real.

The humor is enjoyable for me. And fit with my tastes. But there is no depth when the lightheart comedy take the center of the plot. And i really confuse in the middle of this drama what it's all about? At first I think this drama is all about a gold and it's connect to the WUsang and Babel group and waiting for the climax to happen. But It's not after all??? And then I though this drama is all about revenge to Babel group, but they switch the topic again, and its about the gold, and then next, it's about Babel Group again. Like They freakin confuse, let alone me. It's so disjointed

The main character has a hint to their past so we can connect to their struggle, past story, but it's nothing, it's just a tease. They seems like invisible character which we can hardly grasp and understand, always one step ahead despite they think they are always at disavantaged, but because they have vincenzo, they almost always win or either lucky.

Funnily, the writers seems write the villain more human and like they are main character by showing their struggle, and dynamics against vincenzo. I end up rooting for them to win. But they are supposed has to take down by our anti hero after all. So who is the main villain here?

It's very feminis and will open up the social problem we face for a woman in our community with brilliant execution. Honest depiction of woman not only in South Korea, but generally, in Asian country. At times, I think the PD want to cover up everything in the novel in just 2 hours movie, the confusing and struggling I had watching the first 30 min of the movie. but the more you watch, the more you will understand the movie trying to potray. in it hits the feels at when heading into the third act of the movie is just brilliant, bravo

if you are appreciating a character full of layer and emotion to overcome their struggle in the workplace world ala Misaeng, but with a darker tone, you might be like this drama alot. Who said a love story can't mix with realism and as your way of telling a good message ala THe dancing the waltz alone?

Once again, not alot of writers is dare enough to throw character reggresion/redemption on viewers .  The character struggle in here is real and the writers write her/his own character with heart,  and far from conventional drama we are used to. They are  trapped in their own anxiety and fear due to the pressure from the world they live in. The plot never defined what path you should take, more about the result decision in your own making.

The metaphore between the waltz dance and relate it to their relationship is just a billiant touch from the writers.

The first 10 episode for me is one of the better rom com mainstream drama out there in terms of the way it's unfold. So many moment and situation that I can relate. The Struggle of the main character get written quite well, Name Dae Hyun and Saet Byul. The drama never lose track untul it hit episode 11 onwards. As If the writers doesn't have better option of how to solve the problem more cohesively. Unfortunately. really..... Since I really Love those first 10 episode about prejudice and conflict between different social class seems quite touch the reality. Since episode 11 onward, the drama despite has it's moment, the drama start losing it's momentum for me.

The suspend is awsome from Start to finish. It's about two strangers who get into time loop and has to experience the same circumstance over and over again with different scenario and it bring them closer.. They realistically show how human nature will react if this two people who know something bad will happen on the bus, and take certain action in those situation. The circumstance is too much repetitive and some people might be bored with repetitive plot. The main lead keep wearing the same ourfits and rarely take different clothes except in different circumstance. But the repetitive doesn't make me bored one bit. Watch it in weekend because the show is quite addicting. You can rewatch it to make different perspective of each character.

The two main actor is awsome deliver the suspend and the depth or their character, and I would like to watch their other project!

Captivating and a complete addiction from start to finished. I was engrossed to the story till the end. I was glad I didn't watched it when it's airing and completed this drama in 4 days. This is how you create a thriller and create tension, complete with fascinating character. The investigation, while there is alot, only functional to take forward the plot and not dominating the story to the point make the story becoming dull and still giving room to each character. THe main of the attaraction is the character, the environment they face, and the tension. This drama will be awsome if it's more than 16 episode and take emotional depth of each character and unfold the conflict more engaging,, because there is too many interesting character and conflict they represent that will be awsome if it's more flash out. . despite of the conclusion the drama has, which unsatisfying for me, The journey is worth the watch.

ANd there is just some Promising young actor here who I wish will get the limelight to star in Leading Roles soon! Hopefully they will starring in even more interesting project.

1-12 EPisode. This drama is a prime example what could have been if the role given to a more capable actor. Seo In Guk can't carry it, it's a pity given it seems his character is the centre of the plot. I imagining it will be alot engrossing and gripping. When the scene require more intensity and subtle from said actor, it fail to deliver, and it's become flat. I understand why the writers happen alot of holding back to move the story become darker. It lack the purpose to convey something more. As the times goes, I feel like It' s also a shame Park Sung Wong is not the lead character. He will carried the emotional weight of this drama much better for me. The chemistry is good, but lack emotional sincerity to engross the viewers. It's a decent watch. But pass it if you expect more and have high expectation about acting in this kind of genre.

EPisode 13-16
Man, What a lackluster drama.I sit through this whole drama because I love the idea. But it's hard to sit through a drama who have no idea what they want to convey. It has the idea and element from what I love about melodrama from hallyu era, For Example Misa. . A damage male lead, the idea of the leads has been trapped in the past for years, an anti heroes, guilt driven plot. Etc.. But it's somehow doesn't come together cohesively, and lack purpose to convey something meaningful. Add to that of not so subtle acting. Make this drama a lackluster melodrama.

The premise is intriguing. It's trying to explore people between humanity and trying to survive facing of prejudice in social class and status in society. It trying to explore about how much human would do in the worst situation in social standing, versus someone who already achieve so much, and has acknowledge high status in social standing. There is both opposite reaction between the way Soo Ah and Sae Ro Yi choose path in other to rise and being accepted and succcessful . And it's intriguing aspect in the narrative that never explore succesfully. It lack great effort to dig deeper and the writers certainly playing safe. Sae Ro Yi, someone who has so many handicap in earlier episode to achieve his goals, suddenly achieve so much and has so many advantage , so is the story, as if refusing to get deeper, and end up less believable. And in the end, they are losing track in the third act. . Some character action and development felt contrived and inconsistent. Well, After this, I really become appreciate a writers who attempt to write a very well written complex character, dare to take a risk in the myth of losing audience. Nice attempt though. I understand of what the writers want to convey, but it's just never reach the potential and feels less belivable in execution, in terms of writing and the direction.

But thankfully, the unconvincing plot get helped by the strong performances from Yoo Jae Myung and Ahn Bo Hyun, who make a really convincing villain, and a reliable acting from the rest of the cast. Or else skip this drama and don't wasting your time,

it supposed to be fun, but the third act is no longer funn

what can I say? what a great cast. Especially for the main cast. If not because of them emoting all the right notes that tickles romantic and emotion in me , I don't think I will be drawn to the character at all.

the writing seems more organic in the first half. The romcom genre suit the first half of drama. but it's clear they want to bring the conflict and the second half should be more on serious tone. but they want to keep going about being funny, and the funny but unnecesary scene keep getting insert that at the end they resolved the conflict with half bake resolution. So the amount of episode feels short, despite it's not. what a shame. with talent cast like this, they should aim higher to get better writing. more over, it seems some character switch personality half way. like Kang Tae Moo character.
