RotCH (or any of the versions: 1983, 1995, 2006, etc.) is really similar in terms of:

- MC is an anti-hero that is misunderstood by others for their heretic/unorthodox ways
- plot talks about their journey, from childhood to adulthood and how they resolve their conflicts 16 years later (YES, both have a time-skip of exactly 16 years)
- themes of friendship, justice, righteousness, family, revenge, etc.

what's different is that there's romance in RotCH

Similar plots:
- ML betrays the FL from the start
- ML hides the truth and falls in love (again) with the FL
- lots of misunderstandings/angst
- FL finds out about betrayal, love turns into hate
- super likeable, pitiable SML
- crazy (psycho) SFL

They both have excellent OSTs.

They have very different plots but both have unique plot-twisters that will keep you on the edge of your seat and deal with dark themes/suspense/thrill. Horizon Tower has more mystery while Bad Kids has a unreliable narrator that requires the viewers to read-between-the-scenes to find the real truth.
