Only one sentence got me watching this movie... it's "she revisits her past and learns what it takes to love herself again".
Really .... for those people who are depressed, on a slump, on the point of their life where they do not know what they are doing or on the point where none of your plans and visions work... take time to watch this movie.
As I said, time travelling is not a new concept, but what makes this movie unique is that only the mind of the main character travels back on time, forcing her seventeen years old self to live the life of her current 28 years old. Looks satisfying isn't it? to live your life when you're done studying, have your own job, and you do not have to worry about all the drama in your teens. But what if the current you isn't living the life you wanted? What if none of your "future" plans made it to your present? What would you do? This movie ventures on how a person can learn to love herself back despite of all the disappointments she made out of herself.
On the romance part...I do not really like what happens to her love life so no... I won't venture that part.
The acting was good especially the lead character. She was on point and it will really show the difference within the two "personas" just with her eyes. The rest of the cast were also good but nothing special of some sort.
I didn't pay that much attention to music with the the fuss going on...so no it does not make that much impact on me.
Overall, it's a must see movie.... especially to those who fits the criteria I mention above. If you don't meet the criteria.... ah who cares? I already said it's a must watch movie. So go... watch it!
I don't know if this count as a review and if it will ever help anyone decide... but oh well..!

This drama has a VERY GOOD PLOT, except for the last 10 minutes of it.
The actors were BRILLIANT. How can their stare convey so many emotions?
The music was one of the greatest I have ever heard in a kdrama. It highlights the viewers emotion every time it plays.
But the rewatch value? I am sorry for the fans of this drama but I will never watch this again.
WHY?
It is not because all of the heartbreaks, tears, and frustration I invest in this drama while watching it. I feel the story. I feel every sobs and anguish that the male lead felt. I laugh and giggle at every good moments. I scream and pull my hair every time someone I like in the drama dies. I feel all of these. And that is why this is a good drama. But maybe that is also the reason why I became disappointed in it. I feel too much of all the emotions that the last 10 minutes of the drama didn't make sense to me.
I don't hate how it ended. But it wasn't the way I want it to be. It doesn't have to be bloody. I just want to see some repentance and justice for those who lost their lives.
LAST AND MOST IMPORTANT: Don't fall in love with Jeong Jong..... scratch that.... don't fall in love with any of the characters. ......... you're welcome <3

I think it is still one of the best live action out there but I can't bring myself to love it.
I have no problem with it overall.
The characterization is good. The actors does not only really fits the anime/manga characters but they are all good in acting too!
The music was on point. Unlike some production where the viewers hardly pay attention to the music, the show's music manages to make the viewers notice and appreciate it's value to every scene.
As for the story, it was good. I was open-minded to the plot's changes. I didn't mind the inconsistency it has with the original manga/anime story. I was even willing to let go the difference I noticed in the matches.
What makes me stop from loving this adaptation was how they portray Chihaya in the first part. The Chihaya I know and love would not do something like that. She would never be that selfish and narrow-minded. The Chihaya I know is greedy at fault. She want everything (win the team compitition, make Taichi an A-class, recruit new members, win each class individual matches, and more). I cannot bring myself to accept what happen at the first part that I was watching with poker watch the whole time (excet for the part of Tachi and Chihaya's EPIC high five.. I mean that seriously was a game changer!)
Anyway, it was worth the watch.
Since the beginning I have been shipping Chihaya-Tachi and Arata-Shinobu and with the chemistry I felt with the actors, I felt my ship getting stronger.. XD

The lead guy, Ma Hoon, was seriously a breathe of fresh air. He knows what's up and is seriously doing something about it.
GaeTong? She didn't appeal to me at first, but I began to admire her as time goes by. People rant about how the love triangle here is not strong enough and the love story was predictable. But yeah... it is. Because we have a female lead who fucking knows what she wants and who she loves. No wishy washy I can't make up my mind between these two hot guys.
The King, Soo, was a dear. I love him at first sight. I like him less when he became a king but that is just because, Ma Hoon, manage to save me from the second lead syndrome.
The second love team, Joon and Ji Hwa, crept their way into my heart that by the end of the series, I'm shipping them more than the main love team.
YoongSo was the only one who is a head ache on this series. And I dont even mean that in a bad way. This guy is adorable stupid for his choices but he had his reason so you'll have to forgive him for that.
Anyway, the plot wasn't strong but the characters individually will make their mark. It was an enjoyable watch.

The story was simple but entertaining and exciting. I kinda figure out the mystery after watching a few episodes but that doesn't eliminate the excitement I felt while watching the story unfolds itself. The romance was light and sweet, sometimes even funny. This story has one of the most complicated love triangles out there. I was totally rooting for the couple that didn't end up together. Well I should have known that it was impossible from the start but I can't help but root for them. The character development was well done for every character especially Bong Sun. It was nice to see her evolve. I hated her personality from the beginning but as the drama ends, the hatred turn into dislike. (I just can't like soft heroines... ugh!)
As for the acting, they all did a very good job but I had to mention two actors who did very well- the actress who played BongSun and the actor who played Officer Choi. Watch the drama and you'll know what I mean.
The music didn't really carved into my mind, except for those suspense scenes.
Overall, I enjoyed this drama. If I could change something about it, I just hope that Soon Ae, the ghost girl had the same ending as Takuto from Full Moon wo Sagashite (I don't want to spoil anything about the manga/anime.. but yeah... people who watch it will understand).

My only complain would be the "young master". Not even considering that 'he's' a girl, The young master I know is not a wimp, not a cry baby and DEFINITELY NOT SOMEONE WHO WILL CHOOSE TO END HIS OWN LIFE.
I WOULD BE THANKFUL IF THE MOVIE DIDN'T UNDERESTIMATE NOR RUIN THE REPUTATION OF THE YOUNG MASTER THAT I LOVE...
