This movie is psychodelic and makes you insane with trying to guess what is dream and what is reality. It's shown in the form of sweet fairytale with some lite horror trace. During the movie almost nothing happens, just pieces of dreams illogically messed. After finishing the movie you still barely understand what was happening or don't get it at all. You might still be able to figure out the story somehow. And I think that the story is pretty interesting and unusual. It's just the sreenwriting is nonsense.

The cinematography is somehow pretty here: beautiful nature, people, environment, interactions of the main couple.

We the viewers are also not pleased with absence of the useless hysteric characters (the girl's mother and shaman-woman) which are in almost every Korean movie-drama. Just as annoying as always.Good that there are not many of this kinda scenes.

What's for acting, it was okay. Good main cast. Jung So Min is one of my favorite korean actresses. Though her acting is not perfect, but she is very natural and adorable herself. Hong Jong Hyun,- I don't remember his other works, - but here he flattered my heart. Interactions between their characters, Hye Jung and Hwan, are exciting.

Overall I'd say the movie is rather bad. Though it leaves light and warm feeling, there are also too many of annoying flaws. But I'd advice to watch it. For the story, for Hong Jong Hyun and Jung So Min's exciting intteractions, for the beautiful video-shot. I don't advice it to that who is really fed up with nonsense in korean movies scripts.

Yes, I have kinda contradict impression about this movie.

I see people are rating this drama quite low. I don't agree with them. I was really surprised to know about such a bad attitude to it.

I watched it when it was airing. I'm re-watching it now. And I'm enjoying it again.

This is the case, when acting is, well I admit, not good. Especially Rain is awkward in this role.
But the drama is made so good, easy, and heartwarming. There are not much of awkward tragedies, fightings, jerks, which I hate in dramas. Well, there are still jerk characters which i can't stand and just scroll their scenes. But it doesn't really spoil the heartwarming impression of the drama. It's not heavy and not overfilled with useless scenes.

Kim Myung Soo's and Krystal's acting is quite great! I'm not a fan on these idols, but I loved them in this drama. I'm not a fan of Rain as well, but I don't really like him here (let him be just a model or an action actor, but romantic... omg is awkward for him). But it's still okay, as his character is quite fine person.
Cha Ye Ryeon is also one the best in this drama. And the dog... It's really great to add such a beautiful dog in the cast!

In spite of its flaws this drama have got a great director, artist and other creators team who made it still really enjoyable. This is the most important in any drama for me. Though I don't know anything about the team, but I can see their work:

This is just a light drama to rest your mind when you need some fresh and sweet air ;)

A lot of piano playing, classical music and passionate love addiction. This drama is almost a masterpiece.

Here are so many good comments and reviews on this drama. And I agree with almost all of them, but want to say something too.

First of all, I avoided to watch this drama for last 2 years 'cause I thought that love between two of 40 yo and 20 yo will look awkward. But in fact was NOT awkward at all.

Seeing the 40 yo woman who is still so beautiful, fresh, smart and attractive, I felt inspired and refreshed. I wanted to be like her when I'll be her age. She is tough and soft at the same time as well. She is not an ajumma with stoned and old mind. She is mature and strong but has young mind. Such a rare combination. Just loved her.

That 20 yo boy admiring the woman... I felt his passionate love during all the drama. It is his passion that kept me in bitter-sweet tension so that I couldn't stand but kept watching the drama non-stop, tho my body&mind was naturally tired in the middle. This role really suits to Yoo Ah In. I agree with all praises to him written in the reviews. Btw I've watched an interwiew with him after, and his answers and comments were so deep and thoughtful, - which I never expecting from him, - that I started to respect and like him as a person pretty much.

I felt alive for some time thanks to this drama.

May be it wouldn't impress me so much if there were not the unique cinematography. All colors are darken so it looks like an art of movie. Seems like this color trick smoothens all flaws of acting and environment. My eyes were having rest from all that bright, light and colorful other dramas.

It was great that there are alot of classical music, and they play piano a lot. This makes drama about music the drama about music. And the music is great and it shows their soul, their passion so well. Oh sometimes too well: when playing music feels and looks like sex or even better.

Bad thing here for me is the business talks. I tried to scroll them as much as possible. Though this side of our main heroine's life is interesting. Just for me, it is shown boring.

Half of supporting cast didn't seem good at acting. Only that's why I rate acting 8, not 10.

I don't think I will want to rewatch it soon. The reason is... The drama is slow and it seems that almost nothing changes and all scenes just repeat and repeat but just in different shot and with slight changes to continue the story. That's why it feels like I've already rewatched the same thing many times )) Don't worry, all that repeatitive and similar scenes are so deep, beautifull, intense and passionate that it's rather enjoyable repeatition ))

Every time I discover a drama that I love 10 of 10, I stupidly think that this is the best drama ever and there are barely better dramas exist now. Same for In time with you. I've got to know about this drama just few days ago. And it was my another great discover! My new best of the best. And my first taiwanese drama/movie ever, btw.

Why I love this work so much?

* The opposite sexes best friendship with strong chemistry, lucky to be fully themselves in front of each other.
* And the teasing of may be love between those two.. Awww this is breathtaking!!! I wanted to have this experience myself...
* Almost every dialog and monolog is created of deep thoughts. My first drama with so many of smart contents making viewers think and may be reflect on their own emotions, being and life. The main characters ( Li Da Ren and Cheng You Qing) are smart and have a rich emotional (mental) life.
* That's why it's so interesting and catchy to watch every episode. I alway wanted to listen what they say and read the subtitles if I don't understand some words in mandarin, so that I'd never skip the meaning.
* Very realistic.
* The main (Li Da Ren and Cheng You Qing) and some other characters look naturally and the actor's acting is amazing.
* Cheng You Qing is a smart woman. The main - heroine - is - a smart - strong - and - lovable at the same time - woman. It's rare, it's it? Though she is often arrogant.
* Li Da Ren. Though the actor's look actually is kinda brutal and cool,.. but this is just a look: lol Li Da Ren is so easy, natural, warm, smart, loving, sexy, caring and his facial and body expressions are so livable. He never treat Cheng You Qing and others bad or contemptuously. He is NOT a pokerface jerk kind. And I loved it soo much. And he is handsome as hell. Yes, I fell for Li Da Ren TT TT
* The problem of reaching your 30 years old and the way to accept it is shown here too, so realistic, sometimes encouraging, sometimes frustrating, but people can refer it to themselves easily.
* Characters are normal people with a realistic normal job. Not an elite, not high level society (i'm tired of this in korean drama). The characters really live in the Earth, not in the heaven.
* The OST is good. Though I didn't really like it from the beginning, but getting attached to this drama, I've got attracted by the OST, and listening to it now often.
* The last episode. Just watch it and you will understand :) I re-watched it already several times.

May be that not all the +++. But I want to mention flaws as well:

:( When an actor acts bad hes/her character becomes cutesy. Yes, there are still many of artificial and cutesy actings. And unfortunately beside of 3-4 actors who acted really good, the most of actors did it awkwardly.
:( A bit of SPOILER. Omg that Cheng You Qing's parents are so awkward, but the creators or this drama put some romance and -deep- thoughts even in their life. Really it looks silly when somebody so lazy, dull and ugly is viewed as a smart and lovable. Because if they were smart and lovable, they would never become so dull, lazy and ugly. This family is annoying but depicted so great: so naturally and cosy that I even might sometimes forget that i watch a fiction drama, not a documental one.
:( Annoyed with the story line of Cheng You Qing and her ex bf Ding Li Wei. It's boring, slow, just mess for this drama. Wang Sunny's acting is terrible. (But somehow he is so sexy).

Well, I keep re-watching this drama, picking a random episode. Whoever have created this piece I'm really respecting their work.

One of my favorite dramas.
I use to rewatch it sometimes since 3 years ago when I watched it first time.

Yes, this drama has flaws. Haru is often annoying being too much tensed, pedantic, shy and over-polite. And Doctor is anoying with the same. I don't like JaeJoong in this drama (his acting and character). And I partly don't agree with behavior and decidions of every character.

But this drama is so fresh and well made that the flaws doesn't make me dislike it. It's dynamic, deep, light, well directed and well-pictured. No single episode seem boring. It looks more like an american series than a usuall japanese. Realy different and new for japanese drama genre. But still has the charm of jdrama. Sountracks are awesome here as well.

This drama is the case when actors acting is not so good (except of Eita), but at the same time they make me love them, because they don't overplay and their lack in acting is balanced with really good work of director, writer, artist and other creators.

I like the gay problem touched in this drama. And like how they treat it. And the actor played it well. But I would like that gay and the guy he loves become good friends or even lovers for at least some time T.T

I like the best buddy relationships between Haru and Nakaji. That is more exciting than if they were just a couple. Their line is just breathtaking for me. I enjoyed every scene of those two.

I like the heartwarming friendship as a place where those five can be totally honest and trustfull. There are plenty of problems that appear for the friends one by one, and they face, solve, go through them one by one together.

Eita is my personal addiction. And I am glad that he participated in this drama. He definitally made this drama greater.

The only good is: the story was quite catchy, so I watched the series through till the end. Though dropped out many times.

And it's so weird that the only character that I was more and more curious about was the killer. Because he seems the most smart and stable one. And may be the chef officer Yeom Mi too. This gives an awkward, bad feeling when the only smart character is a killer, don't you think so?
I was irritated to see that totally primitive behavior of main characters and others.

O Chorim is charming and very beautiful. I would fell for her, if she wasn't dull.

Moogak is extremely stupid. YooChun acting is bad here.

It's shame to make and show this kind of low quality drama. I was always asking myself -Who is the -writer of this? Fire that person, oh please fire. And why all the cast and the director work with this awkward writer?-

When I say low quality, I mean absence of common sense and logic, big flaws in acting.

That seeing scents ability is shown boring and artificially. The creators didn't give it proper attention as well, so it looks awkward, just waste of the good idea.

As I said the story is still okay and even seems interesting. But they show it slowly and boring as if the creators just don't know what to put there to fill all 16 episodes. That feeling when the creators are forced to make something but have a writer's block (crisis).

Of the ost tracks I liked -Jelly Cookie – Excuse Me- the most - a cozy, light and cute one. It suits to this fantasy drama pretty good.

As for me, this is a raw but beautiful movie that teaches that ability to fall in love doesn't disappear with becoming old. So you all youngers must remember this when you meet olders and become close friends with them: they might secretly have love passion for you which they suppress inside of themselves. And the fact that they still fall in love is not bad at all, it's exciting, beautiful, but sad at some point too.

Other ideas of this movie aren't shown earnestly enough for me, so I don't pay attention to them. Well, they are problem of jealousy, fairness, guilt, understanding, etc.

It's amazing that the old man was played by actually a young actor. Amazing makeup and acting of the actor. I've become curious about Park Hae Il.

Erotical scenes are so natural here. This made me realize how korean movies are very different from korean dramas. Compared to k-movies, k-dramas are just 'cheap' entertainment industry that washes viewrs minds with tabboed cliches. (No, here are no erotical scenes between the girl and old man, don't worry).

Still I said that this movie seems raw. I don't know...Many scenes feel abrupt, incomplete or draggy and slow. The characters are not shown precisely and deeply enough: they are rather just sketches for actual very interesting characters.

Also here are many beautiful scenes and views in this moive.

I think people should watch this movie to develop their capability to feel different emotions and of understanding of this world.

Finally I've seen not cute and shy Ueno Juri, but the opposite one. Her character here shows a lot of her devil side who sees nothing but revenge. Sometimes her cold-hearted decisions and eyes made my hair move.

I like the Alice in Wonderland story theme used as kinda hunter guide tool. Such an artistic idea, feels like a thrilling ribbon going through the drama.

I'm glad here is no a lot of medical issues. Medical scenes take may be only 20-30% of drama time.
Most time there is something else like conversations or other actions outside of the hospital.

I'm glad that this drama has no actual romance.

For me, this drama misses some deepness and realism. Mizuno Asumi doesn't look capable enough for such severe actions she does. So it's not totally unrealistic, but quite so..It is more like fiction than real life:
There are too much of twists in characres and plot. Also I'm confused and irritated with how at first some disguisting villains are suddenly later shown to have their sensitive, innocent and kind side. And opposite - at first innocent and kind ones turned to actually be villains... The villians are aslo the kind of too obvious and too nonsense villains who barely exist in real life, with lack of intrigue.
I think this drama is raw and need alot of improvements. I felt also here are too many flashbacks.

Nevertheless this drama is catchy. Twists are still dynamic and interesting. Scenes are beautiful. I never watch something just because I started to and have to finish at any cost. I always drop when I'm not interested or put on hold when I it's not bad but not captivating enough. This drama was one of that I didn't wan't to drop neither to postpond.

Soundtracks here suit this drama very well.

The most realistic japanese drama. It doesn't feel like series, but like a masterpiece movie. This is nothing about "slow and boring the same in every episode". All episodes and scenes here are reasonable, I enjoy watching every single scene and nothing feel as a waste.

But to have this impression I think right time is needed. I tried to watch this drama 3 years ago but wasn't interested at all. And now I think that this is the best japanese drama ever.

Eita is my favorite japanese actor. And I totally agree with another reviewer here - his acting is just breathtaking. And this is the case when I even don't feel like expressing with words it how awesome he is. But I want just to express it with silence - as it's so obvious for me that I even don't care if others know that.

It gives such a powerful impact to my mind that I don't think I need to watch it again soon. The impression is as strong as I express it now - after 4 months after watching the drama. So I'll surely watch it again, later, when I'm ready.

Other cast's acting, by the way, is as awesome as Eita's.

A tragic story. On the place of the two main heroes I would choose another path in the final of the drama, I think their decision is crazily wrong. But in spite of that they made me feel compassion to them, they didn't make me hate them or to think that the drama is stupid. They made me want to try to understand them. This is wonderful. They touched me deep.

This drama had left me in silence and refreshing thoughtfulness after watching it.

A very realistic drama. Great work of writers, directors, artists and actors.

It just bothered me that some characters are too hot-tempered. Especially Tsumabuki Satoshi's. I thought that he was so much over-hot-tempered, and may be overplaying.

In my opinion, this drama would be as awesome as Soredemo Ikite Yuku if some of the cast didn't overplay. Well, but that's just small flaws. I still admit that everybody acted good enough.
Acting of Eita and Mitsushima Hikari is great and the best of all the cast in both Wakamonotachi and Soredemo ikie yuku.

This drama is more like a good realistic movie. Though it has 11 hours. There is nothing about artificial, glamour or tidy feelings like in the most of asian dramas and movies. Just naked reality is here. It was a honor for me to see that super popular, beautiful actors didn't hesitate to be ugly (with they look and behavior) playing in this drama. I started to respect them even more. It's so realistic that gives cold creeps to my skin, and that I could easily imagine myself there in their story.

The story is so simple that I'd say there is almost no any story, but just everyday life, interactions, problems, joys, wisdoms, mistakes, friendship, love, support and fight. And they DID make it look really exciting, catchy and interesting.

They show strong family bond and friendship that make them feel safe and not alone in this world. I even felt envy (in good way) and a bit sad that I don't have that kind of family. Because this family is something better than a usual family - they are relief, support, friends for each other. I think this is because they are brothers and sister living without parents since childhood - not much of hierarchy, almost similar age, same generation. They teach each other to be better persons. So it's exciting to follow how their relationships go and develop.

Well, it's not possible just to -swallow- this drama in one-two days. It would be difficult or even boring. This drama is not so easy to watch, because it is more the kind of deep work than entertaining show. It's enriched with strong emotions and thoughts. It took one month for me, I needed some breaks while watching.

The tricks of magicians of past centures are represented awesome here. That equipment, its moves, complication, danger, is exciting, looks powerful and creepy at the same time. For me, this is a movie of the equipment, magical tricks and of that how people deal with this. Because other things about the movie weren't interesting for me.
My standarts for movies are higher that for dramas. This story, characters, plot and actors would be good for a drama, for sure. But movie is something that has to shake my world, overwhelm me with rare emotios, just within its 2 hours. It has to be much better than dramas. As I mentioned, only the magician's tricks with equipment did this to me. But in this movie it is just a background for the main actions.

Apart from that, it was a not bad melodrama. Jo Yoon Hee portraying her character touched me. Go Ah Ra seemed too good for this melodrama. I never used to like these two actresses, but here I probably recognized their capability. I'd like to see Go Ahra in a great, stong movie.

Yoo Seung Ho is way too sweet, too sugary, even when he plays such a dramatic character. I can't take seriously his role here. Honestly, I wanted to watch this movie because of him. But I think, for now I feel tired of him.

This movie is just okay and I have nothing else to say about it.

When I tried to watch this drama first time, I dropped after two episodes. I'll tell why later... But this time I was captivated and ended it all in one day. That's why I gave 9, almost 10 to overall.
! LIttle spoilers warning !

*I cried in the end. Though I almost never shed tears over movie.
*I realized how stupidity can ruin life and kill people. Being too much brain-washed, masochistic, stupid or broken ruined life of our beloved lovers. And I and almost every person do that to themselves everyday. It made me think what I personally do with my own life. This is the impact of this drama on me.
*Lee Wan and PSH 's acting was exellent, it felt so real. I was 'breathtaken' by their chemistry and feeling they've shown. Lee Wan's eye expressions were wooow.
*Although I don't agree with many of aspects of this drama and often don't like the main couple behaviors, - but they made me want to understand them and feel sympathy and compassion. They made me love them the way they are...

*I wasn't impressed with others in this drama. I don't feel that any other actors were good. I just didn't even noticed them behind my beloved main couple. That's why I'll give only 5 point to acting - because only the main two were great.
*The school time episodes in this drama are the best for me.
*In 1-3 eps I loved Hana much more than YunSo. But after that I think Hana became less real and deep. I think it's because the actress was only 16 yo, so she might not know how to feel and express the kind of hardship that Hana suffers.
But YunSo in 4-10 eps became more human-like, more kind, strong, loving and deep.
Also I feel that our couple got lack of chemistry in last 2 episodes.

*What I was annoyed with and why I dropped it first time is...
1) YunSo often seems too rude and abusive to the girl he 'loves'. I uderstand his painfull fate of past, but his behavior is only one of many other options of how to behave after a big tragedy. A I personally hate the behavior he's chosen.
2) PSH (Hana) cries tooooo much. It was annoying when she cried in almost every scene. I feel that situations she cried in weren't so much tearfull. She becomes more hysteric as drama were going. And I don't like it how weak and stupid she is aspeially after 2 years. She almost never tries to fight and protect herself while being abused.
3) Awkward jerks whose all thoughts and purpose of life is to hurt and ruin our main characters life. I scrolled that scenes with that kind of people, hate them.
4) I personally don't agree with that not-blood-related-siblings can't love each other. What a nonesense! Stupid society.
5) PSH somehow has babyface that doesn't suit her role of Hana 2 year later.

*But the story, so real acting and chemistry of main couple was so touching, emotional and powerfull that I'd rather give positive wow to this drama. It became one of my favorite.

This is a drama with some too great characters for such a ridiculously bad drama.

The best is Ji Yi, the most surprising and fresh character here. How smart, understanding and open-hearted she is, the way she reacts to others attitude... can somehow influence your own mind. I dont like the acrtess's (Im Ji Yeon) look and acting at all, but I love the character and only it. She is a poor peson who'd never do bad things to become rich, but she's really different from similar characters of other dramas.

Second favorite is Chang Soo, a rich guy with beautiful heart and handsome look. Of course he fell in love with the personality of Ji Yi, everyone falls for her, even his arrogant richy mother did. He turned to be a very sensitive and sensual guy. He is a rich guy who can not give up his status, money and family just because of love, but instead he convince the high society to love his lover too!
Park Hyung Shik was the best at acting here, for me, he expressed the feelings so freakingly good.

I liked Yoon Ha and Joon Ki too. Just these characters seem not written good enough. I even liked Uee here, though I never liked her before.

Yoon Ha is my third favorite here. A rich girl who doesn't want to live in the high society world and believes in pure love.

JoonKi is a raw character. He is a poor guy who wants to be a part of high society no matter what, but still has kind heart.
Sung Joon is the actor who I don't like any role of and I don't know if he is A good or bad actor, but I'm attracted to his personality... I don't know how it happened, I think the reason is that his facial expessions are lively, he is not the robot kind of face.

I litirary skipped ALL the scenes with other characters. (One exception is the scenes of Joonki's mother with Yoonha or JoonKi.) So actually I watched only about halves or less of every episode. I hate that spoiled high society arrogant stupid talkes and cliches. It is just disguisting.

That's it)

This is my first review. And in fact, this is my favorite Korean drama.

I so love this drama that it now works for me as a healing pill when I need to relax and forget of everything. I re-watch any of episodes (whichever I just feel like to) whenever I want. So I did up to 4 times already.

I didn't expect that I will like this drama (even though I'm a fan of exo and especially of KyungSoo). But I'm glad that I finally got to watch it.

It's so untypical for korean dramas - how the main characters are not stupid, but smart and extraordinary persons (not exactly but quite so). And all supporting cast just complete the main characters, so but I wouldn't delete anyone of them from the story. That's how all is balanced in this drama.

But I think Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo Jin are the reason why it's so interesting to me. Their acting skills attracted me a lot. I tried to imagine this drama without them - it would be not so interesting.

I love that this drama gives the feel of clear reality, because there is real logic, common sense in behaviors and dialogs. I felt that this drama was written by a very wise person and directed by talented one.

There are so many interesting lines and psychological dilemmas and salvations, beside of the main story, that no single episode and scene is boring, and nothing left me indifferent. They put some psychiatric cases in the drama and show how doctors solve and treat the patients. I even started to believe that psychiatry might work in real!

I also like it that this drama shows different opinions on life situations. When I watch it I don't feel that I am being forced to accept one point of view (the author's). Heroes talk openly like in real life without usual taboos (as in other dramas). They express opposite points of view, and nobody really hates them for that. (Well, actually they don't look that much open minded but I still say so because at least their boundaries don't bother me unlike in other dramas do).

I was charmed by HyeSu and JaeYeol...

Jo In Sung. This was the first time I saw this actor. And well, I was charmed and in love. Though I don't like some of his opinions on life and was shocked with his behavior. But in some dialogs I respect him alot. His acting was excellent. And he is handsome as hell.

Gong Hyo Jin. Same: This was the first time I saw this actress. And well, I was charmed and in love.
And the rest of my impression about Jo In Sung is true for HyoJin as well. And !!! she acts sooooo natural, I would never say she is pretending. She has the best natural-gifted acting skills of all cast of this drama, from my opinion.

KangWoo, my Han KangWoo... I saw the making of this drama. And d.o. was really so focused and serious on his acting, that he even rarely laugh and smile after every serious scene shoot, unlike other actors usually do. I don't know if I'm right but I think in most scenes he wasn't really acting, but he was himself, and this is awesome. But in some scenes he really acts and does it surprisingly great: the tragic scenes he played so good that it took my breath.

Lee KwangSoo. SooKwang is awwwww I enjoyed watching this weird character.

Jo Dong Min. He is so disturbingly noisy and short-tembered that I couldn't stand him is he wasn't so honest, smart and thoroughgoing as a psychiatrist to HyeSoo and other mentally sick people.

Jang Jae Bum, the brother... I can't understand him. And don't understand properly JaeYeol's caring about him.

The family bonds is so big topic in this drama. I'm irritated by that. But that's okay, that's reality of our society :) And they show the reality.

Don't like it what JyeYol did to HyeSoo in the end. They showed it as a funny and happy final. But I felt sick and pity for HyeSoo :(

After it, I tried to watch other dramas of same director, writer, actors. But I didn't like them at all. Only I loved A Frozen Flower with Jo In Sung.
So I don't know how but only this time, in It's Okay, That's Love, those people have created a masterpiece.

Nothig is exaggerated, nothing seems fake in the movie.

The story is about discovering the truth behind the introverted look. And it's being discovered beautifully.

Here is the school bulling theme going through the movie but it is not exaggerated, is realistic, not disguisting or cruel unlike in other movies and dramas. It's rather mild and don't make you hate anybody who's involved but lets you relate it to yourself and understand deeply.

This movie is inspiring, deep, fresh, not really sad for me.

You can see characters development during the story, which is so rare nowadays.

The director (Lee Han) of the movie did a great work with actors. The story is based on the novel so no wonder it's really good. Btw the same novelist, Kim Ryeo-Ryeong, also wrote the novel which the film 'Punch' is based on.

Ah, I'm so glad there are such artists who are capable to creat this kind of movies.

p.s.: btw, Kim Hee Ae and Yoo Ah In again star together, I was pleased to see that. But as I've seen some of Yoo Ah In's works, so far I think he did really good only in 'Secret love affair'.
