Worthy k-horror with top notch acting by Kim Tae Ri
Horror is not usually my choice of genre but was drawn by Kim Tae Ri’s versatile acting and was hooked from the beginning. Also a long mystery, each episode was full of suspense and was drawn wanting to find out the backstories. No love story unfortunately but there was a hint of romance between all the blood and deaths with the detective. Some could say there was also something with the Folklore professor but if they dropped in romance I’d be team detective. Ending also has a good message. Would recommend. Was this review helpful to you?

Bingable classic, meh storyline
To be honest this drama didn’t draw me in from the beginning, maybe because I had high expectations knowing it was a big hit 10 years ago. But like any kdrama I was binging the show after 3-4 eps.ML + FL are just beautiful and top actors, so I don’t think it would’ve have been as good if anyone else were casted. FL’s character was annoying but it was interesting to see her fall for an ISTJ character.
Alien storyline was interesting but lacked in detail with why DMJ became weak and could die, why he was healthy after returning home, how exactly he came back at the end. He had told FL that most people have 7-12 children on average, but told her mother that there are no families back on his planet… how does that work?
FL lead was left emotionally tormented and on edge over a guy, which is not exactly the best message to send. Same goes for the 2nd ML who never gets over CSY.
Unsatisfying ending but overall a good show to binge if you enjoy rom coms.
