I want to see New direct a movie. I'm pretty sure it will be shown at Cannes. As a semi-professional movie reviewer for festivals I would be honored to have a first look opportunity for a film from him. This series is a master class in directing.
I'm going to address the two biggest misunderstandings about what's happening.
The first is easy, Pharm gives too much of himself to In.
Second is the pacing. The slow pace of this film is important for the emotional punch.
It seems some people only watch Marvel films or action/adventure and don't understand or appreciate the subtleties of a slow build. Even the teaser moments at the end of an episode are carefully crafted.
The story itself is fairly complicated and requires more attention than the average romance. It's important to work out how Pharm and Deen are related to In and Korn.
The side story of Win and Team is itself a reflection of the main story. Who's more forward. Who's more reluctant.
There are larger themes here as well but I'll leave those to the viewer.
