Reveal the Truth Already!!

I'm not sure about anyone else, but I am officially ready for Tae Kang to know that he is the father of Ji An's baby. Enough is enough. How long are we going to draw this secret out? Ji an clearly has feelings for him now, and Tae Kang has done well in proving himself a capable partner for her. Let the cat out of the bag already!? It's episode 11 for cripes sake!

I'm not sure if this constitutes as a proper episode review, but I needed to get that off my chest. :) I do genuinely like the doctor and think he is a very sweet man. I just think he needs to step aside already. Enough with this game. Let the sh*t hit the fan, I say!

Amazing Writers!

This show is seriously mesmerizing me with each episode. How amazing are the writers that Tae Kang has gone from a idiotic loser to a total sweetheart within the span of a few episodes? And it happened quite naturally. I don't feel particularly forced to like him. Although they do make the audience feel pity for him, which made us vulnerable to loving him. And oh, how we love him now.

Truths are finally revealed in this episode! Ji An is finally being honest with herself about her feelings for Tae Kang and we see it expressed initially in her sketches and key memory flashes. And of course, that she allows Tae Kang to be closer to her through carrying her, and in the end, kissing her. *swoony sigh* Poor Eun Sung is uncomfortably becoming the odd man out. This is especially sad, as his feelings for Ji An (and even potentially adopting her child) become very strong. Unfortunately, there's no room for Eun Sung between Tae Kang and Ji An after this episode... Or is there?

We'll see what these great writers have up there sleeves!

He's Stealing the Show!

I'm amazed at how this drama is developing the character of Tae Kang. At first, he seemed like a childish, weak loser. But as the series progresses, Lee Jang Woo is becoming the star of the show! His precociousness in learning the ways of a shoe designer is inspiring. Plus, he's just a good guy! He's chivalrous and considerate and caring. When I first started watching this show, I didn't care for the Tae Kang character. But by this episode, I officially love him. And the scene under the tree in the park was so well acted by both Jang Woo and Sun Ah. I especially loved the look on her face as she woke up. :)

This drama is getting better with each episode! I love how well written and mature it is!

The Winds are Changing~

I think this episode marks the first in the series where we see a small shift in the relationships between the main characters. Between Ji An and Tae Kang, she's beginning to open up to him and trust him a little more. With Eun Sung, he begins to express more care and concern for Ji An despite the uncomfortable situation, but it seems too late, as Ji An has closed herself off from him again.

The emphasis though is Tae Kang. We finally see that his strong points are his kindness and determination--although he isn't too bright. :) I'm glad they highlighted this point, because for a while I had decided he was nothing but a pretty face. I understand his character more now! It makes me want to root for him.

It's too late to apologize!

OK, I have been loving this drama up until this point. But I am officially sick of it. As I suspected, it's too long and things could have been wrapped up by now for sure.

How many times does Park Ha have to be deceived by Se Na?? How many times is she going to believe her insane lies! How many times are they all going to "take things into their own hands" and not call the police and turn Tae Mu IN already???? Why does Tae Yang keep sitting on all of this glorious evidence?? He screwed up the photo evidence because he waited WAY too long, and now they have video footage and they are sitting on that too? It's just too much. Se Na saying "sorry" doesn't cut it anymore. What is with these Tae Yang and Park Ha!? They started off super strong and smart, but now they look like overly forgiving and gullible dopes!

Epic Bromance!

There are several great things about this episode (including the fathers finally meeting, or what I refer to as, "Clash of the Titans") ^_^. But I must say that I really appreciated the established and sudden camaraderie between Tae Kang and Eun Sung.

The scene at Eun Sung's blind date dinner and the one that followed with the beer cans in Eun Sung's apartment were the clear highlights of this episode for me.

Generally, I find that my favorite dramas are those in which the characters are just plain old good-natured people. No particularly vicious antagonist or overly jealous and outrageous rival committing dastardly deeds. Just regular people who come to terms with various circumstances and work together to get through them. Those two scenes were perfect examples of how Tae Kang and Eun Sung have come together for the greater purpose. I absolutely loved it! These are great life lessons.
