SOOO GOOD! Watch the uncut version if you can!

The way this freaking drama made me cry over 4 separate times should be illegal. In the beginning it was a little slow and awkward so I didn't think much of it, but I'd seen good reviews for this drama so I kept my faith and guess what? SOOO glad I finished it. Had some good twists and the plot was just heart wrenching towards the end... the things poor Phob had to go through in life just wrecked me and I totally understood where he was coming from. He suffered so much and things were so unfair for him and Pat. Also the acting was so much better than I was expecting. There were times where I was very surprised and pleased by the range of emotion they showed these two go through. The tears, the vulnerability, and the laughter they shared throughout made their chemistry and intimacy as a couple so much more believable. Something I particularly liked was that there was no tsundere "I'm embarrassed so I'm going to stop you and get mad every single time you initiate something" act. Sometimes it's well done but most of the time it gets on my nerves big time because it just looks like they don't actually want to be with their partner, so it was refreshing to see two emotionally open and forward characters make advances on each other without all that silly pretense. There is of course a bittersweet but happy ending. I loved every moment of it, especially the tear-jerking scenes during the "biggest obstacle." That really solidified how I felt about the overall show. Don't want to give anything away but if I, a huge romantic and lover of this couple enjoyed it, you'll definitely like the ending too. All in all it was a great drama and I'm satisfied even though my eyes hurt from the crying. I'd recommend watching the uncut version as it adds the more physical dynamics between them and shows some worthwhile additional fluffy scenes.

Better than expected!

The romance was awkward and fumbling, sweet, passionate, and emotionally charged all in just 5 episodes. The quality of acting surprised me, the fight scenes were so much better than I was expecting (Flying Dagger's protectiveness was mesmerizing to watch), and the plot and its twists were well executed. What more can I say? It was short but definitely not lacking! If you're looking for a hard hitting series that doesn't take up too much time this is definitely the drama you want. This couple really made it all happen thanks to the acting. There'd be no magic without them.

Great drama!

Definitely not "the best BL series ever" but it was very enjoyable and better than most. I think the plot kind of got messy and boring somewhere around the last two episodes, but I liked the happy ending and the previous episodes were so good that it didn't affect how I felt about the overall story that much. I would have liked more intimate and personal moments between Tol and Tin if there was more time rather than focusing so much on side characters, but the moments they did have secured their chemistry and made for a really cute romance. I really liked them as a couple and I've never seen the time loop trope done this well for a BL before so I'm happy about that. Some people didn't like the focus on Tol by episode 11 but I found it to be necessary and satisfying, I just think it could have been executed better is all. I think my favorite part is that it's only after you've gone on this journey with Tin that you realize he wasn't just saving Tol, he was saving himself. They are both selfish characters that were only able to become better people together and I found that fascinating.
