it's just a cute and simple show to watch when you're bored because its, well, entertainment.

I do not believe that all media should have to be revolutionary works of art to be considered good. This is not a masterpiece by any means. There's some awkward acting, annoying side characters, and weird sound production, but its a decent and enjoyable show. But at the end of the day this is realistic fiction, a story that could happen but, as far we know, its not real. A boy meets a boy and through a series of plot developments they fall in love. Its cute and simple. I watched it on a day I just wanted to be entertained for a few hours and it did just that. This series made me laugh and cry on multiple occasions, and when i finished it I was content.

If you want to watch a simple digestible show that will keep you entertained, by all means watch this show. If you're going to complain about how it has no real substance watch something else and don't ruin the fun for the rest of us. There's plenty more super deep and life changing shows out there, this is not that, remember its okay to relax and enjoy something simple and honestly a bit comforting.

Its entertaining, entertainment media with pretty guys to look at. And most of all it's a cute love story.

please, this is only enjoyable if you enjoy cheesey romanic male leads

peronally i love cheesy romances and main men. the main male lead is so "bad boy with a soft stop" and thats about it. The mfl is incredibly bland but shes just deep enough so you can project yourself onto her, and imagine yourseld with the main guy instead of the two mains being together. the sml while being one of the better ones in cdramas, still kinda bothered me but it was personal. theres two other couples. the first is genunily a cute little enemies to lovers moment. its not special but its entertaining a cute, the third couple though...i personally hate age gap/ teacherxstudent relationships. they make me uncomfortable so. i skip their parts. over all its just a silly little FICTIONAL romance.

it’s fine to enjoy media that isn’t revolutionary

Overall i really enjoyed it. It was a short watch, about 3 and 1/2 hours total. And it was entertaining. it’s not the best most revolutionary piece of queer media to ever exist and it’s not pushing boundaries it’s just relatively simple love story.
They never kiss, which is fine, and they also never officially say they’re together and that’s also okay. I really like their relationship and the mutual understanding that they have about their love for eachother. Not all things have to be explained through spoken exposition, we the audience are supposed understand the subtext.
I didn’t expect to enjoy it so much. i am not a fan of queer media with homophobia. as a queer person myself, i am painfully aware of homophobia so i don’t want to experience it vicariously through characters.
the time skips at the end were a bit confusing but that’s probably my biggest complaint.
Anyways i genuinely enjoyed it, i recommend it if you just want smth to casually enjoy and wanna turn off ur brain for 3 hours.
