Let's state first that I'm a bit biased, mainly because this drama contains some of my favorite tropes. One being the gender-reversal trope (played very well here).
If you're fond of it too, I'm sure you'll enjoy this drama as much as I did despite its flaws.

What I liked:
- The aforementioned gender-reversal trope. It's refreshing to see the FL protecting the ML in dangerous situations and on top of that, the FL is much more assertive too
- Unique twist on the main couples. Without delving into major spoilers, all I can say is, that it'll give you a bit of surprise. The second male lead's relationship with the FL is very interesting.
- Feng Bufei. Do I need to say more? He's a very unconventional villain with a lot of quirks and things that make you weird out but at the same time want to see more of him out of morbid curiosity. He's fun.

What I didn't like:
- Yu Menglong's performance. Listen, I'm all here for an emotionless, calm male lead, but even with that, but he's just really displaying the same poker face 90% of his screen time.
Lin Fang, as a character, was great: A person with good intentions who still could be calculative at times, sort of a mastermind who's pulling the strings and on top of that, he even had his struggle with an unrequited love that he handled that very maturely (unlike many toxic MLs in dramas!) without being possessive, he really just wanted the FL to be happy, even if it meant, if he would not be involved in her love life, so he wasn't a flat character at all.
But here's the issue: I know in "theory" that he's a good character and I feel attached to his story, but I feel like his actor's performance creates a barrier between him and the character he plays and it makes the already calm Lin Fang feel very passive like he isn't even one of the main characters. It does get better towards the end, but still.

Other than that, it was a good watch and I even grew fond of the ML too in the end.
