Amazing in all aspects
This drama is all-around amazing. The approach this show takes on topics like family, friends, love, parenthood are incredibly deep and promote great viewer reflection. Each of these topics are covered from several perspectives and the viewpoints are all so nuanced. Ren Meguro's acting is unimaginably realistic, especially near the climax of the show starting from ep 10. His gaze literally transfers his feelings as a struggling father through the screen. (This was even after he fell ill in the middle of the filming schedule) Every second of the show is packed with the efforts of the cast and the crew and the show is totally worth rewatching multiple times. The plot is so intricate, the sets are detailed, the acting is dynamic, and the music is matches perfectly. Couldn't recommend this show enough.Was this review helpful to you?
Best Fake Marriage Drama
This is hands-down the funniest and most heartwarming fake-marriage drama I’ve seen! Yui Aragaki and Gen Hoshino's awkward chemistry is pure gold, and their journey from a “contract” marriage to something more had me laughing non-stop. The humor is spot on, but it also touches on deeper themes like modern relationships and gender roles, which makes it even better. If you want a feel-good, binge-worthy drama, this one’s a must-watch! I must say that despite their being so many marriage dramas out there, this is the best one by far I have watched.Was this review helpful to you?
Nice Drama
Overall this is a good drama. There isn't a lot of drama or suspense going on but it's refreshing that each episode is on a different banking case so the story does not drag on or slow down. The acting is on-point and the set and filming are also nicely done. While it may not be a packed, high-stakes drama, the show has consistent quality, strong performances, and well-paced storytelling which make it a solid watch.Was this review helpful to you?
Brilliant Comedical No-Brainer
This show is pure comedy. Although the comedy may seem ridiculous at times, you just have to watch and go with the flow of the show and you will be sure to enjoy it. Great Artistic Drama
The drama is amazing and you can tell that a lot of care was put into each scene (story, set, music, lighting, etc). It's a great watch and of course Hikaru Utada's "First Love" is played at the perfect time. At times the story seems to drag or doesn't make perfect sense but the rich detail in the drama I think makes up for this.Was this review helpful to you?
One of the best romcoms
This was a really good show. Although sometimes the plot may seem a bit pushed, the comedy covers it well. Characters act very naturally and it is a show you'll want to binge in one shot. The music is also great (official hige-dandism). I think the story sometimes dragged but this was a small issue with all the comedy it had in each episode. One of the best dramas
One of the best dramas I've watched. The story is truly unique and hilarious at the same time. Love the small quirks added throughout the drama too. The story has great pacing and never drags with each episode being amazing.
