I just finished watching this drama...and I am very happy I watched this... Everyone has to handle the pain of someone close passing away...For some it came be the most painful memories... Everyone deals with it differently... Deaths happen in the show...Some are painful and some painfully beautiful...And I felt everyone one of those
This Drama is not all about death and suffering... it's very hopeful and heartfelt
This is simple drama which tackles some harsh realities
Coming to the acting and the cast...They all did an amazing job...All the staff and crew did and amazing job...Thank You for this Show

Death is a very hard topic for anyone... Seeing someone die never gets easier, it gets worse and worse...But this drama will give Hope to everyone...
As long as you remember them
They are not gone

Bromance that sends chills

I dropped this drama when it was airing...But when I finished it.... Damn I was blown away...One of the best crime thriller Kdramas I have seen...this is what I want when I watch a crime thriller...The pacing is very good...The Antagonists are very very scary and one in particular... You will know after you watch the drama of which character I am taking about...That character is actually very scary....This show is consistent with its story nothing feels out of place...

Coming to the 2 male leads...And damn there chemistry is out of the roof...When they interact you will feel the emotion...Of course they are great actors Shin Ha Kyun playing Lee Dong Shik I loved him in every scene he is in I first saw him in The drama Fix You...And of course Yeo Jin Goo playing Han Joo Won first saw him in Hotel Del Luna...Both Did an Amazing job

Not taking away from the side cast they did an amazing job with their roles...and each character played a role in the drama

Ending...No Spoilers
K Dramas ending can be a hit or a miss... Kdramas can go through rewrites because of different reasons but this drama has a conclusion...It is very satisfying...and I cried not gonna lie...I cried while watching a crime thriller Kdramas...I find it very funny... Thank You to the Cast, the production team, Everyone who is a part of the Drama...Thank You

Lets Live Happy Life!!!

I know small things matter in life but I never knew it can have a huge impact on a person...This drama taught me why small bits of hope can change a person's life...If there is only one person by side you can live and survive…
I want the drama to continue but I don't want it at the same time...The drama is so satisfying till the end and the drama knows how to end an episode…
The journey our characters go on in this drama is so real and believable it feels like seeing real people living their lives...This drama is so mature in how it handles things...Things I can understand but I don't know how it will feel if it happened to me…
Our main lead is not a “K-drama male lead” he is a middle-aged man making millions who want to die but can't because of this family, there is no one who can understand him until one person enters his life...Her name is Ji Ahn played by IU...she is a cold character who does not get along with anyone and can do anything for money...as you watch the drama you will see why she is this way and you will cry for her…
Every character has something in the show that has layers to them...The male lead in this drama is my fav lead in any Kdrama (Park Dong Hoon played by Lee Sun Kyun)...and If I watch his drama when I am in my 40’s...I may cry even more for him
I love this drama...I am writing this after re-watching it...Saying small things like "Hang in there", "You are a good person". "Its not a big deal", "Want me to get you something" can really help a person live

Please Respect what happened in his Drama...This isn't what you want from a "average Kdrama"

This Review May Spoil The Drama For You...If you don't like minor Spoilers, don't read the review

I am not Korean so I don't have any right to say about the events that happend in the drama...I don't want to give my opinion on the real life events...
This drama is not far an average Kdrama fan. This drama is based on the real life events that happened in Korea...but you can understand the situation they were in if you watched the drama...This drama doesn't have a "happy" ending...This drama is to show how people recover from such a brutal past...It wasn't supposed to have a happy ending...It wasn't supposed to be a Romance story

If we look at the drama at a critical sense...Yes, there are flaws and Yes, there are things this drama does pretty well...

The characters are well written...They are not usual one note characters thrown in a real life setting...There are some things this drama kinda teases but I am glad it didn't do it... Example, the love triangle that they kinda hinted at...Many love triangles were teased in this drama but I am glad the story knew where it should be going and it maintained that theme...

The acting was superb in this drama...Well what do you expect from this cast... Nothing to say here

Conclusion

Is it a must watch...No... Should you watch it for fun...Also No...You should only watch it if you can...

WE ALL HAVE A INCOMPLETE LIFE

Misaeng is a type of K-drama you will love if you are into business or have any knowledge about it...Its main focus is on the business aspects and it delivers on that...even if you are not into business you will still appreciate the characters and the message the show is trying to deliver.

The Story of the main character is that he wants to find his place in life...He wants to prove himself to others and find his meaning in life...The story constantly shows how poorly he is treated by others
He always tries his best but fails many times

All the characters have their own story and motivations...we see them grow and develop into better workers and people...and their stories do not make the main plot messy but it elevates it into a different level

The drama is not on the nose with its message and characters, you are shown how they feel just by their emotions...It shows how great the acting was

The main criticism the show can get is the main character is more of a silent type and may seem boring to some, but if you can understand him and relate to him you will find his character to be well written, but that’s up to personal preference

The drama is very much business focused and it may confuse you at some parts because of the heavy business knowledge this show drops on you

But it is a good watch if you like dramas like Reply 1988 and Hospital Playlist

IF YOU HAVE HIGH EXPECTATION OF THIS DRAMA...THE DRAMA WILL STILL EXCEED THEM

Its only been 5 mins since I have re-watched the drama...Yeah it was go good I re watched it, I don't know how to explain my feelings, Its in my TOP 3 dramas for sure....I don;t know if it is weird coming form a guy but this drama has my fav kissing scene!!! I mean the kissing has a actual plot development...It has a meaning to it...K dramas has very memorable romantic scenes but this one takes the win for me...I think I should stop here

About the story- I don;t know where to start...Its show is about marriage if I have to simplify it...this show asks questions that I know I have to ask myself when I get married...If 2 people love each other is marriage the last option or is it a beginning!! This Drama also tackles some social topics...I can't name all of them but the show handled them very well...but the strongest part of the drama for me was the overall message I got form the show...I used to think that actions are enough for someone to understand but as I am getting to older and will soon enters my 20's, I understood the meaning of words and telling how I actually feel...This drama has many lines that will fill your heart
The characters grow as we progress with the story ...This is not a type of drama where you can shut your mind and relax...for me this this drama had some value in my life...Hope you like it too...Thank You

And a message for myself if I ever read this review in the future...and anyone who will read It guess...We all know its okay to make mistakes but people expect us to make no mistakes as we get older...Yes we get mature and have some understanding but why the world expects us to feel nothing as we get older...I am not even 20 but I have experienced it...Its okay to cry, make mistakes, be embarrassed...it does not matter if you are 20,30,40 because we all are living for the first time

A Show I will enjoy even when I am in my 30s

Like the title says...This is the show I know I will love even more when I get older...This is my Favourite Kdrama and I don't think something can replace the feeling I had after I finished this show and the feeling I still... It's been months since I have finished it... Generally when we talk about a show we talk about the story and the plot but it doesn't have it... It's just a story of friends...Yeah that's it.... Boring right...I thought so...I knew after the 2nd episode that this will be my favourite Kdrama of all time...I don't want to state the reason but just by watching the 1st and 2nd episodes the show got me

SO THE ROMANCE....
Only thing I can say is if you watch this drama with no information in mind about the show or even if you are brave enough to Google spoilers or somebody spoiled you...Thank God I wasn't and I love the Romance... Every Romance Drama has a second lead syndrome...and every Hates it but surprisingly this drama is written so well it doesn't disappoint...at least for me...I felt sad but it was the right choice
And That's just one thing I liked about the drama
I haven't even started on how important the parents are in the show
How important everything is in the show...
But I have to say this show is not for everyone...Some may find it boring or uneventful...For me every scene had a important we got to know how the characters were feeling and their emotions
It's funny, heartfelt, Slice of life everything I love in a Kdrama

Thank You

Unexpected Journey... Raised the bar for future Youth Stories

I REALLY REALLY LOVED IT...
( I will cover some of season 2 as well)
(This spoils how the characters changes that happens in the show)

This is a coming of age story...A female centric drama...A story of 5 roommates and their life
Each one has a different story to tell...They have different personalities and traits...The most important thing I look for in a drama or in any other show/series I am watching is the characters...If I can see the characters as actual human being... People who make mistakes... People who feel like can exist in the same world as I do...And I don't mean by making the characters "relatable"... A character can be relatable but not human...But coming back to the show...why I am saying stuff like this... it's because the decision the characters makes in the show comes backs at them...This drama is one of the most realistic teen romance dramas I have seen...It show how young love is not perfect... Getting into a relationship with a person you hardly know is not good for a long run...How innocent girl who had low self-esteem and lacked confidence is turned into an obsessive bitch is done perfectly...And that's just one character...

Same goes with the side character...Each character has a part to play... Sometimes the main characters are the one in the wrong and we support the side ones...

I have been very serious in this review... It has one of the most funniest scenes I have ever watched in a Kdrama...The scenes where you want to cry is made in a comedy scene...and I hate been shows cut out a serious part just to make you laugh, it ruins the whole experience but it is done so wonderful I can't even describe

This show hasn't been finished it...I mean a lot of things set up are not given a conclusion... Hope season 3 happens... Because the epilogue in the second season broke me...

It was a breath of fresh air...Hope you love this drama as much as I do... Thank You

You feel the warmth in this show!!

I just finished re watching the show...I wanted to re watch some of my favourite Kdramas and this was the one that came in my mind first...
This isn't my favourite Kdrama and if someone asked me too recommend a show to them, this won't be my first pick...But why I re watched it...

Even I don't know...I guess because of the male leads...2 broken people meet eachother and Fixed eachother or was it because the amazing chemistry they had...

Coming to the Romance...This isn't the type of Romance we usually see in Kdramas...Magical Romance that every Kdrama viewer love...I love it too but this was something different I can't describe how I feel even after watching it...

This drama has the word 'warmth' repeated many times...And I actually felt that...the way the characters talk to eachother and the way they help eachother makes you feel the warmth...

As I am writing this I came to understand why I liked this show that much...Why I liked the leads so much...I can't spoil but this drama had a less than 5 min scene which made me cry and it's nothing major

This Drama is very slow paced so some may find it boring...I can understand but for me it was a wonderful experience

Thank You
