First of all I know that most reviews probably revolve around the young men in this KD, but I want to start with Hwang Shin Hye as Choi Kang Sun. She is amazing in this drama!!! She plays crazy evil like a pro and brings that character to life!!! She manipulates EVERYONE and does it well. Wang Ji Hye as Jin Jin Shim/Mok Ga On also plays her character well. You can tell that she has Stockholm Syndrome in a major way. The story wasn't quite what I thought it would be, because it doesn't center around the bachelors as much as I thought it would, but it is still good. The child switch is the major issue in this drama and I thought that it was played out well. The acting was great. I really enjoyed all of the actors and they played their characters well. The bromance between the guys is cheesy and cute. I thought that the teens of the main characters did a great job and were too adorable. I think the dad should have taken more responsibility at the end, because I think that some of the reason that Kang Sun acted the way she did was because of him. However the ending was satisfying. I didn't give it much of a rewatch value because I probably won't rewatch it. It was good enough the first time. You should watch it though at least once.

I love this installment of this Vampire Series. We still don't know who "Bad Blood" is or what it means in the long scheme of things. I hope they don't take so long for the next season. It was hell waiting between Vampire Prosecutor and this. Anyway, the writer did a great job in developing the over all story while introducing each investigation The main characters were interesting and smart and the story flow was well orchestrated. The ending was well done.

Say what you want about idol actors, I think Lee Joon is a versatile actor. Watch Heard it Through the Grapevine if you don't trust me. He didn't fail while playing Yoon San with the right amount of strength and vulnerability. Oh Jung Se was great as Yong Goo Hyung. I enjoy him in pretty much every drama I have seen of his. He has a way of making his characters believable. Han Gyeo Wool played by Lee Se Young didn't add that much to the story, but Se Young was a joy to watch.

The person that stole the show was Lee Chung Ah as Yo Na. I totally fell for her "bad girl" character. Her character development was well written. She was really good at looking stern but subtly softening her expression when needed.

The music was appropriate.

I might rewatch this if it is a long time before the next season.

I recommend the entire Vampire series. They are well written and acted. Just prepare yourself for the fact that the seasons aren't over and the story hasn't finished.

For all the cuteness and wonderfully elaborate costumes and settings in PC, there is stupid and ugly. The story line is basically good, but there are many contrived elements that make absolutely no sense. The characters are inconsistent. One minute a character is smart, then the next minute they do something stupid. Also, the story is drawn out. They could have told the story in half of the number of episodes. The drawn out misunderstandings and angst gets old.

The romance and cuteness of Wallace and Tiffany is what keeps this from being a total flop. It bothers me that the writers cross the line of naivety to stupid with Qi Lin, who knows martial arts, about medical herbs and is clearly not stupid. Also, I think the writers make Wallace too cold-hearted at times. However, Wallace and Tiffany did great with what they were given. Most of the other actors are ok also.

The music is really good.

I will never rewatch this.

I don't necessarily recommend this drama, but it isn't horrible.

This drama has fast turned into one of my favorites. It has a great balance of romance, comedy, and angst. This drama is right up my alley because I love dramas where the guy falls in love with the girl at the beginning and never waivers.

The story is very mature with its content, but the predicaments they get into are kept at a minimum . The problems that these characters face are pretty common and I’m sure anyone can relate to any one of the characters. I love the friendships especially with the main male actors. Even the side characters in this drama add to the main storyline. So many times the side characters distract or are meaningless to the story. The characters are consistent in their actions and the story flows smoothly. At the beginning of every episode there is a usually comedic interaction between the main male characters. The only drawback is that when they play flashbacks to their former selves ; they aren’t younger. If you look past that and just enjoy how funny it is, then it is all good. The ending is stellar and everything is wrapped up in a pleasant package.

The acting is really good too. I know the male leads are not typical. Their ages range from 38 to 42. It may just be because I’m older, but I found them more attractive than some of the younger actors these days. It isn’t necessarily because of their looks although I do find them physically attractive also, but because of their developed acting ability. The women were also very appealing for both reasons. There are many characters in this drama, but the ones that stood out for me are Jang Dong Gun as Do Jin and Kim Jung Nan as Min Sook. They weren’t a couple in this drama, but I think they have the complete package as actors. Don’t get me wrong; the other actors are good too. There are great cameo appearances by Sooyoung from Girls Generation, Singer/actor Jung Yong Hwa from CN Blue and Kim Kwang Gyu who has been in a lot of dramas. For the younger people, Lee Jong Hyun from CN Blue acts as Colin and Kim Woo Bin is also in this drama. They play minor but important roles to the main story. Especially Colin.

The music is awesome. If you get the chance, then you should totally check it out and add it to your playlists even if you don’t watch the drama. Seriously!!!

Overall I would say this is a must see drama for all those that enjoy romantic comedies. I loved and will eventually rewatch it.

This drama is a refreshing change of pace from other Korean dramas I have seen lately. Although the focus of this drama is Ji An’s pregnancy, I think that the theme could be that life isn’t always what you expect it to be. I think the progression of this story is well laid out and moving.

I love this story of a strong woman that has her life changed, but she still remains strong. Kim Sun Ah is a great actress. I think she played Ji An very well. First she is closed off and hard, but after meeting Tae Kang she changes to a woman that slowly begins to show her emotions with out losing herself. She shows how tuff it must be to have to tell your family, friends, and in her case the company about her pregnancy. I thought her reaction and the reactions of those people to the news were very genuine. Lee Jang Woo does a great job as Tae Kang, who is at first a boy with no ambition that turns into a man with focus. Tae Kang may be immature, but his sincerity is what I think Ji An sees in him. Park Gun Hyung does an excellent job of playing Eun Sung. He is smart, good looking, strong and protective.

The side stories and other characters also add to the story and the actors did a really good job.

Oh and the music is really good.

This is definitely ranked up there as a must see drama for me. I will probably watch it again.

This is not a drama for the faint of heart or squeamish. It is totally gross at times because they do brain surgery. The story is well written until the very end. I found it unbelievable that some of the characters that committed heinous crimes could be regretful and be forgiven. However, the rest of the story is consistent and the characters are well written. There is jealousy and misunderstanding all the way through this drama. If you are looking for lighthearted and sweet, then skip this one. There may be some sweet moments, but they are few and far between.
The brother rivalry between the male leads is what made the drama good.
I am a So Ji Sub fan and I think that he is a great actor. He did really well playing the character of Cho In. Cho In goes through a lot of traumas and finds truths about his life that changes his personality. Although his character changes in some ways, he is unfailing when making a choice between life and death. If it weren’t for So Ji Sub, then I can’t honestly say I would have watched this drama.
Shin Hyun Joon did a fair job of playing Seon Woo. He seemed to overact a little. I think it actually worked for this character, because he was mentally unstable. It is not hard to feel sorry for this character. If you just listen to his pain, it is easier to understand where his actions are coming from. I’m not advocating his actions because they are unwarranted. It is just that once the ball was rolling, I don’t think that he knew how to stop it and finally didn’t want to.
I am also a Han Ji Min fan and her role as Young Ji was played perfectly. Young Ji is a sweet and loveable character even when she does things she shouldn’t.
Oh Kang Chul was a major character that had beautiful moments with Lee Cho In and I believe helped set Cho In’s new course in life.
I really didn’t like Seo Yeon, I found her strange and indecisive.
The other bad guys (there are too many to name) are a little over the top and some of them are completely unbelievable. I also thought that the writers let the bad guys look stupid and let them get away with way too much. I guess it wouldn’t be a drama without them.
The music is ok.
This is a great watch, but I probably won’t watch It again.

I feel like I will get roasted for this review, but here goes. I quit watching this at episode 10 and was determined never to watch the rest. However, browncoat_78 and Moko convinced me to keep watching. I admit that I liked the second half way better than the first. I guess it is because I don't find it funny. A lot of people liked the humor in this drama, but it is wasted on me. I liked the revenge parts way better. I do like the fact that Ja In stands by Cha Don through the drama and matures and helps him. It seems like he matures also. The character development and the intelligence of the characters are the best parts of the drama. Honestly, most of this drama was boring to me. I like that revenge and justice were tied together. I do wish that the "bad guys" had suffered more. Seems like their ending was too easy. It has a really adorable ending for everyone else though.

Anyway, the acting is not lacking. Kang Ji Hwan and Hwang Jung Eum are fantastic in their parts of Lee Cha Don and Bok Ja In. I think they even had good chemistry together. At least they move their faces and use hand gestures when acting so it isn't boring. The best of the whole drama was Kim Soo Mi as Bok Hwa Sool. She was just awesome.

The music is ok

I won't rewatch this.

If you like a little comedy and romance mixed with a revenge story, then you will probably enjoy this.

Let me preface this by stating that I don't like war dramas/movies. I don't watch dramas that are based on events that actually happened like war. I am trying to escape reality not live it vicariously through dramas and movies.

Now the story is more than just about the war. It is love, camaraderie, hate and anguish. I'm not squeamish and I like a good action show that is based in fiction. It is hard to get past the blood/gore, and the pain that war obviously brings to all involved. WARNING: There is a lot of death in this drama and it isn't pleasant. It took me a while to get through all 20 episodes because I had to stop for days and then come back to it, because it is emotionally draining. It has a love story between the male lead and female lead, but I think that the love between the men that were in action together was a far better love story. I won't tell you how it ends. I will just state that I understand that the writers were trying to remind the current and future generations of what occurred during the Korean War. However, they could have found a better way to do it. It drove me crazy. Plus, once again the last two episodes had tons of filler like the audience is too stupid to understand what the characters were thinking about at that time. Whatever.

On to the acting...So Ji Sub as Lee Jang Woo and Yoon Kye Sang as Shin Tae Ho were outstanding!!! Their happiness, pain, laughter, and tears are easily felt. I was fully invested in their characters and that is why I made it through 20 episodes of this heart-wrenching drama. I just couldn't leave their stories behind. Kim Ha Neul also played her part well. However, the writers made a doctor into an idiot so she really didn't have much to work with. I had a hard time feeling sorry for her character even through the emotions of the male leads. Mostly I just wanted to slap her. ALL of the men that played the parts of the Second Company were great. I loved everything about their friendships. It was beautiful. If I could have just seen that part and not the war, then I would have liked this drama a lot more.

The music is appropriate.

Thank whatever deity you prefer that I never have to watch this again. If I need a heavy dose of So Ji Sub, then I have plenty of other projects of his from which to pick.

Honestly, the only reason why I watched this was for So Ji Sub. If you are a fan, then you won't be disappointed in his acting for sure. If you like war movies, then this is definitely one for you. Just realize that the directors make it REAL.

Pride and Prejudice just ticked me off. I had every intention of giving this drama a 7 or 8 until the ending. The story is ssssoooo drawn out for no reason. They could have found some of the evidence earlier and made this drama so much more interesting. To say nothing of the stupid way the last episode went. I hate these writers. They screwed up a perfectly good plot with horrible timing, dialog, and character development. I'm so disappointed.

The only saving grace in this drama is the excellent cast. The Chois are beautiful actors. Although, I must say it is hard to believe that Choi Min Soo would play dog to any master, but he makes Chief Moon believable. Choi Jin Hyuk is a perfect flawed hero as Koo Dong Chi. He is too cute and has a great chemistry with Baek Jin Hee who is one of my favorite actresses. She doesn't disappoint as Han Yeol Moo. There are a few things I didn't like about the way they wrote her character, but that isn't her fault. All of the actors were good. If it weren't for the acting, then I would have dropped this drama at some point. Although my curiosity may have kept me watching.

The music was fine.

I will never rewatch this.

I don't recommend this drama unless you want to watch the Chois. They both have better dramas though.

SKL is a wonderfully Korean cliche' drama reminiscent of Shining Inheritance. The story is fluffy but also has a depth of character that is engaging. The writer takes all the troupes of a Korean melodrama with out the melo. I enjoyed it like it was a brand new drama. It also had a lovely ending. It isn't my typical kind of drama as I am more into the melo, but I was pulled in from the very beginning. Even the ending is good.

Seo In Guk is such a beautiful soul as Louis. I enjoyed every special, silly and romantic moment of his relationship with Go Bok Shil (Nam Ji Hyun). Bok Shil is a smart, strong character who has a naivety that is cute rather than annoying. The other actors are good too.

I enjoyed the music.

I might rewatch this some day.

If you enjoy romance, then this is totally the drama for you. Love from beginning until the end.

Beautiful Mind is an interesting drama. It is really too bad it was cut short. I probably would have rated it higher if the story had developed to the ending it was suppose to have. The concept of the story is new and the characters are well developed. The plot keeps up curiosity as there are stories within the overall story and a suspenseful story line of murder. I was really enjoying it and wished it had not been cut short.

Jang Hyuk is just a good actor. He made the drama.

I have never seen Park So Dam before but I think she did a great job as Gye Jin Sung. She gave the feeling of being a strong, smart woman without being hard. I love that kind of character. I have seen almost every drama Yoon Hyun Min has been in and he never disappoints. He was a cool character as Hyun Suk Joo. The other actors are good too.

I loved the music in this drama!!!

I may rewatch this.

If you would like to see something a little different, then this is for you.

I really don't have anything to add to the reviews that have already been written. I like the way this drama is presented. I like the total grit of real life edge that this drama has. However, that is also part of the problem. The story felt some what contrived while the directing and acting felt real. Part of me would have been happy with an all or nothing ending. The ending felt incomplete. I can't tell you exactly what ticked me off with out providing spoilers, but if you want to know, them PM me. It is the reason why the score is lower. I have plenty to write but it is all spoilers so I will just end it here.

The actors and actresses are good and cute. They are the reason why I kept watching.

The music is fine.

I won't rewatch this.

It is a pretty good romance. I think most people would probably like it more than me.

The whole story is in the synopsis (there is a mistake though Tae Min is not the one shot in the leg). There isn't much depth. It is an action movie with a lot of blood. There isn't much to it. I do think the men make their relationship more touching because of the actors, not the story itself.

The acting is top notch with great actors Joo Jin Mo, Song Seung Hun, and Kim Kang Woo. If they weren't in this movie then I probably wouldn't have watched it.

The music is appropriate.

I won't rewatch this.

If you like mindless action, then this is the movie for you.

Protect the Boss for me is one of the best dramas ever. I love stories where a person can come into the lives of people and change them for the better. This is definitely a romantic comedy with very little angsty moments. The best thing about this drama is that the main characters find their love for each other pretty early on in the drama and they stay in love. I love dramas like this.

The story is fun and I smiled through pretty much the whole drama. Of course, there are some people that cause trouble throughout the drama, but they aren’t the best at it. I have seen way more evil in other dramas. I love the friendship that develops between the women and the cousins are just too adorable. I love all the cheesy moments and the goofy fun.

The actors seemed to have a good time making this drama. I have never seen Choi Kang Hee in anything other than this. I think she did an excellent job playing Eun Seol with the correct amount of tuff and aigoo. The very first drama I watched was Royal Family with Ji Sung. I don’t know why I haven’t watched any of his other dramas, because Protect the Boss reminded me of why I completely love him. He plays Ji Heon as an adorably troubled man that grows after meeting Eun Seol. I just watched Kim Jae Joong in Time Slip Dr. Jin and he was the only thing great in that drama. He is the reason why I decided to watch Protect the Boss and he doesn’t disappoint. He is certainly a great actor. Jae Joong plays a delightful Moo Won that faces some struggles, but is very strong and sweet. I absolutely admire Wang Ji Hye. She has performed in several other dramas that I enjoyed. She plays Na Yoon with flare. Some actresses have the same look for every emotion, but all the actresses in this drama from young to old show their emotions on their face. I think that the best actors do that. Even the side characters in this drama are good and needed to make this drama special.

The music is really good. I have added a few songs to my playlist.

I unconditionally recommend that this be a drama that you watch. It isn’t deep, but that is the point. It is light hearted and full of fun.

The problem is I watched the Chinese version first. The only reason I gave this drama a lower score is that Moon Lovers can't compare with the scenery, the costumes or the sets of the Chinese version. That is pretty much the only reason I gave it a lower score. The story is daebak. I love everything about the complexities of the relationships in this drama. You don't know if you should love or hate some of the characters. Even though I was not as emotionally moved by this version, I think the writer did a wonderful job sticking to the original. Of course there are some difference, but it doesn't take away from the story.

I loved the acting in this drama. I love me some IU. She is a beautiful and talented person. She plays the part of Hae Soo with ease and poise. I'm not going to go through all the princes, except to say that in the original version I loved the 13th prince the most and that is still true. Hong Jong Hyun is just so cute too. I felt more for the 4th and 8th prince. I actually felt sorry for them this time instead of thinking they were fools. Kang Ha Neul and Lee Joon Gi are really good actors and I enjoyed their interpretation of the characters a lot. The other actors are good too.

The music is good.

I may rewatch this at some point.

I believe everyone can enjoy this drama regardless of seeing the Chinese version.
