Sketch is well written, acted and directed. The premise of the drama is interesting and there are some great twists and turns. It has great action and emotion. I was taken aback by how far the writer was willing to go. Also, I love the fact that I wasn't sure where it was going at times. There are a lot of predictable dramas out there where I usually figure out what is going to happen, but this drama kept me guessing. The characters have depth and helped drive the drama. it is rare for both the pace of a story and the characters to come together so well. The writer did a good job connecting the dots. I didn't feel like I was left wanting and the ending was well done. I like how the writer made the 1% seem like they are untouchable unless the 99% get together to stop them. I wish people didn't judge money as success. There are a lot of ways to be successful in life with out money.

All of the actors are good. Of course, Rain as Kang Dong Soo, Lee Sun Bin as Yoo Shi Hyun and Lee Dong Gun as Kim Do Jin were daebak. But Lee Seung Joo stole the show as Yoo Si Joon. I was so into his character and what drove him. It is hard to write a lot with out giving a way spoilers.

The music is good. Especially what they used for suspense.

I will probably rewatch this at some point.

If you like gritty, suspense with a little supernatural thrown in, then you will like this. I recommend it highly.

Honestly, I watched this for my love of Jo In Sung. I was pleasently surprised by a refreshingly different drama. The story is easy to follow while the characters are complex and quirky. The underlying story of domestic abuse and over all violene is very sad. The mental anguish that the characters go through is palpable. I like that the love story lines are unconventional and mature. The story also attemts to lessen the general publics ignorance and fear of the mentally ill. Over all it made me think about all aspects of life. I enjoy dramas like that.

Jo In Sung can play any part he is given as proof through his enactment of Jang Jae Yeol. His character was cool, confident, and romantic on one hand, then hurt, scared, and child-like on the other. It is so great when a good looking actor is actually good at acting. Gong Hyo Job was also wonderful as Ji Had Soo. She is strong yet vulnerable. Side note: she has some long legs. I never realized that before, but seeing her standing next to In Sung made it prominent. There is also great chemistry between them...really between all of the actors. I love me some Lee Kwang Soo. He is a good actor. I some times forget that from watching him act silly on Running Man. For those of you who like EXO, D.O. does a good job as Han Kang Woo.

The music is good.

I will rewatch this...tempted to do it now.

If you like the strange and unusual, then this is the drarma for you.

Wow. They took exaggeration to a whole new level with Best Wedding. I love the writer is bringing to light an issue that is prevalent in some countries. I think in the US most judges tend to give custody to the mother, but it is a case by case basis in most states. Plus, in the US there are all kinds of family dynamics. If this drama (even exaggerated) is a depiction of Korean reality when it comes to single motherhood and what makes people family, then it is just sad. Honestly, this drama had me on an emotional roller coaster. I almost gave it a 10 for that alone. However, some of the characters could have been better developed. For example Park Tae Yong was all over the place. Even until the end I was uncertain of his character. I had the same feeling about Hyeon Myeong Yi. I also thought the side stories were unnecessary and boring. Regardless, the ending was OK.

Park Shi Yen and the writer did an excellent job balancing the strength and vulnerability of Hyeon Myeong Yi. Bae Su Bin was also good as the strange and unusual Jo Eun Cha. Their characters were the most consistent and had the best growth. The other actors were fine also. Little Dan is just too cute.

Side note: Although I don't find No Min Woo to be that great of an actor, he does strip a few times in this. Worth watching those parts. Keke

The music was appropriate.

I will never rewatch this.

This is a good drama. I recommend it.

I finally finished this excruciatingly long and boring drama that has more holes in the story than a sieve. From around episode 6 it is basically the same episode with slight variations until episode 15. I really don't want to take the time to go into all the problems with this drama. The reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 1 is the few funny, cute and sweet moments. At least the ending didn't suck.

I like the main actors, but even the best actors could not have saved this drama. I usually hate dramas with a lot of bi-stories and unnecessary actors, but this time they were actually the entertainment to me. The detective running around winking at people and the "other" girls chasing the male leads are too funny.

The music is fine.

I will never rewatch this.

I don't recommend this drama, but if you insist on watching it, then I suggest watching to episode 6 skipping to episode 15.

I would have given this drama a higher score, but I got bored. I read the history of Prince Sado and the writer did a good job mixing the historical truths and rumors. I enjoyed the first 14 episodes the most, then they traded Kim Yoo Jung with Yoon So Hee and the story line also changed. It became more political and boring. I don't understand why they changed actresses when they basically dropped Ji Dam's story line. I get it if there had been more of a mature story line, because Kim Yoo Jung is only 15, but I didn't see anything that she couldn't have done believably. It was disappointing. The best part of the story line is that the king and prince are consistent through out. The ending was good, considering.

Han Seok Kyu is an excellent actor who made me hate and love King Yeong Jo equally. Above the boring politics story line is a father/son relationship that was volatile. The conflicted thoughts and emotions Seok Kyu portrayed was palpable. Lee Je Hoon is unexpectedly good as Prince Sado. He was strong, conflicted, sad and did what he needed to do to realize a world for the citizens to the very end. I wonder if he was happy even once in his entire life. I believed him and that is a tribute to his acting. I love Kim Yoo Jung. She is a wonderful actress that only seems to get better as time goes on. They shouldn't have replaced her. The other actors are good too, but for me it was all about the father/son relationship.

The music is appropriate.

I will never rewatch this.

If you favorite genre is Seaguk, then you will certainly love this drama

Mirror of the Witch is a mediocre drama. The story line is interesting and different, but it is written in circles. Some of the story is riveting, while other parts I felt were just more of the same. The production and cinematography is appealing. Also, the age difference between the leads didn't mean a thing. I probably would not have rated it as high if the lead female character was not awesome. She is written so well as smart and strong which is great to see. Although I get why it ended the way it did because it makes since for her character, it was still bitter sweet. I felt like it was a waste considering how much struggle the other characters put into keeping that from happening. I guess I would have rated it higher if the ending had been different also.

The acting is good. Kim Sae Ron is a great little actress and I hope that she can keep that skill into adult hood. I enjoyed her portrayal of Yeon Hee with both vulnerability and strength. Yoon Shi Yoon also did a good job as Heo Jun. He had the most character development and he was a cool character. The other actors were ok also.

The music is good.

I won't rewatch this.

If you like supernatural historical dramas or a Yoon Shi Yoon fan, then this isn't a bad watch.

This drama surprised me by keeping me interested. When I first started this, I wasn't sure if I would like it. It is a mix of supernatural and mystery. There is one big overall conspiracy mystery and little mysteries along the way. I know that some people may find the ending anticlimactic, but I enjoyed it.

Like most people, I feel like Kim Jae Wook as Lee Hyun Joon stole the show. He has an important role and I think he played it well. It is hard to write a review without spoilers. So, I will just write that I thought his ending was appropriate. He did what he thought was important and that was all he needed. So Yi Hyun was good as Yang Shi On, but I don't think that she is the best actress. Some people find Taecyeon lacking because he is an idol actor. However, I thought he was witty and cute as Cha Gun Woo. If it weren't for him acting with So Yi Hyun, then I don't think I would have finished this. I actually thought he pulled her up. The other actors are good too. I liked seeing Kim Ye Won again as Jang Hee Bin. I wonder when she will get a main role?

The music isn't anything I remember.

I may rewatch this if I am looking for something light to watch.

This is not horror. I didn't find it scary at all. If you like mystery (although, I think to a certain extent most people will figure things out quickly) with the mix of supernatural, then I recommend this drama.

I am not the biggest fan of sageuk dramas, but Maids is one of the best dramas I have ever seen. I love the detail of the costumes. I noticed at the end In Yub has the flowers of Sa Wol on her lapel which is a nice subtle touch. I experienced every emotion from crying to angry to happy. Sometimes I would find myself gripping my hands in anger and other times I would find myself absentmindedly smiling. Dramas that make me emotional are some of my favorites. The perspective of the writing is unique. I admit at first I didn't like any of the characters and almost dropped the drama. However, there is great believable character development that led me to understand and even like some of the characters (especially the female lead). The best part is the strength of the female lead character. She learns a lot about life and herself and we get to watch the journey. There are some politics, but there aren't numerous scenes of old people setting around talking about whatever scheme they will come up with next. The romance is really nice and I think they all had chemistry. I even like the ending. It made since to me that she would make the choice that she made. After all she just went through quite a lot and needed some peace.

The acting is really good in this. My favorite character is Lee Cho Hee's Sa Wol. She is a strong, loyal friend that is also sweet and caring. Jung Yoo Mi was perfect as In Yub. After watching several actresses lately with stone faces or overacting, it was nice to see an actress get it right. She shows her emotions with out it being obviously acting and it is believable. I ended up liking her character quite a bit. I have never seen Oh Ji Ho before. I think he did a good job as Moo Myeong. I think it is hard to be a quiet but emotional character, but Oh Ji Ho pulled it off well. Poor Kim Eun Gi. Kim Dong Wook portrayed the character's sweet and cold sides very well. I felt sorry for this character the most. He faced everything even his own short comings. It must have been hard for him. The other actors are good too.

There is really good music in this even if it doesn't have words.

I won't rewatch this, but it is rewatchable.

I recommend this drama to everyone no matter what genre you prefer. It is really good.

I watched Goong probably a year ago, but recently a MDL friend mentioned that I gave it a lower rating and I couldn’t for the life of me remember why I rated it that way. So, I rewatched it. While doing so I remembered why I don’t rate it very high. It has a good story, is well acted, and overall was a good drama. However, somewhere around episode 18 I was tired of it all. They should have had the misunderstandings between Chaeg-Yung and Shin under control by then and had them together facing the hardships that were thrown at them. I would have enjoyed it a lot more. I get that Shin was brought up in an emotionally cold environment, but for crying out loud, she said she liked him about a 100 times. How misunderstood can she be??? It isn’t the writing or anything like that, because it has a well thought out plot. Somewhere near the end, like episode 22 or 23, I started liking it again. I even liked the ending.

The acting is really good. I think Joo Ji Hoo does an excellent job of playing Shin. Kim Jeong Hoon also does a good job of playing Yul. I really felt sorry for his character by the end of the drama. Yoon Eun Hye plays Chaeg-Yung. I have seen everything she has been in except The Vineyard Man and she never lets me down. Song Ji Hyo didn’t really impress me. I don’t think the wide eyed stare for every emotion is acting. Chaeg-Yung’s family is great and gives much needed comic relief at times.

I like the music in this drama.

I rewatched it so I would say that you should at least watch it once. It really is a good drama. I just like dramas like Lie To Me where the romantic aspects are different.

I rate dramas on how I felt while watching the drama and if I was emotionally involved with the characters. All dramas are going to have flaws, but if the story and acting can overcome them, then I give it a high score. I felt great watching Pinocchio each and every week. The writer did an excellent job with the flow of the story, well written dialog and excellent character development. I could not find any holes in the story line and nothing seemed contrived even with all of the coincidental meetings. I loved that the characters are flawed. I usually hate a lot of extra characters, but all of the characters in this drama add to the story and quite a few of them are daebak.

The cast is great. I'm not sure where to start so I will begin with Park Shin Hye. I'm not a big fan of hers although I have pretty much seen every drama she has been in. I constantly remark that she must have saved a country in her past life due to working with excellent male leads. Finally Lee Jong Suk taught her how to kiss. Apparently she has taken some acting lessons, because she did In Ha proud. Lee Jong Suk to me is perfection. He is good looking, can act, and has moved away from those stupid high school rolls in his last 3 dramas. Dal Po will be with me for a while. Where did Yoon Gyun Sang come from and why hasn't he been in more dramas? Seriously. As Ki Jae Myung he isn't even in the drama very much, but his scenes have an impact and I was truly moved by his character. I believe I have seen almost everything that Kim Young Kwang has been in. Although I don't think that he is the best actor out there, he really showed what he can do as Seo Bum Jo. That one part where he is talking to Dal Po and he is half crying and half laughing was so well done that I cried with him. A rare occurrence for me. I have see Lee Joo Seung in several dramas and I have always thought he is so adorable and a good actor. He adds so much to this drama as Ahn Chan Soo. He is basically the catalyst to the entire drama. Now to the two extra characters that made this show worth watching if for nothing else but to see their quirky and adorable selves, Lee Yoo Bi as Yoon Yoo Rae and Lee Pil Mo as Hwang Gyo Dong. I loved all of their scenes. There are other extra characters that are fun to watch also, but those two stand out. There are also some guest rolls that are funny and appropriate like Yoon Sang Hyun as Lawyer Cha from IHYV in Ep.12 and Lee Joon in Ep. 19. Last but certainly not least is Jin Kyung as Song Cha Ok. She makes for an excellent cold-hearted woman. SPOILERISH >>> At first I thought her character change toward the end would be a mistake, but the writer gave an outstanding explanation and developed her character to where it made since. <<<SPOILERISH Kim Hae Sook knows how to play crazy better than most people and she delivered as Oh Mal Su. Gotta love to hate her.

The music is good and appropriate.

I will rewatch this some day for sure.

I know this was a long review, but I hope it makes you want to watch this drama. I highly recommend it to everyone.

This drama has all the possibilities of greatness, but it fails miserably. The ending is even ridiculous. The writers are just dreadful...lol...that is why I gave the story a 2. There were so many great things they could have done with the concept of the story which I thought was pretty interesting. Long lost brothers and mother, betrayal, romance, murder, and attempted murder...sounds like a great drama waiting to happen. However, a lot of the characters are inconsistent and undeveloped. Plus, I would have liked to see more of the brothers together.

Lets start with the really bad acting of Shin Se Kyung. I admit I knew what I was doing when I started watching it. The weird thing is that Mi Do is so much like Ga Young (Fashion King)...neither characters are ever happy no matter what the main lead or even the second lead does for them. Regardless of the character, Shin Se Kyung can't act. She isn't believable. At least her face changed expression a few times in this drama. Still, it is just blah!!!

OK, enough of that.

I know there are many viewers out there that don't like Song Seung Hun, but I love him. He has in the past had an eye bulging problem when trying to show surprise or anger, but he kept that totally under control. Tae Sang felt authentic and I really like the mix feel of bad boy, gangster with naïve and soft lover and friend. He is the best part of the whole drama.

Yun Woo Jin had no hope of showing his acting skills, because Jae Hee is an atrocious character. For someone that is so smart that he went to college abroad...blah...blah...blah, why did the writers turn him into a total idiot. Are we supposed to believe that "When A Man Loves" he does a 180 in character? That is all I get from his role.

There were a lot of unnecessary characters. However, I enjoyed Kim Seo Kyung acting as Roy and the adoptive father as well.

The music is fine.

I will never rewatch this.

I won't recommend this drama. I will end with this. If you liked Fashion King, then this drama is for you. If you didn't like Fashion King, then this drama is only marginally better...you have been warned. If you have never seen Fashion King, then good for you...don't watch this either. :-)

I want to live in that neighborhood too.

As I write this I have tears. This is one of the best dramas that I have seen in a long time. The writer and director somehow drew me in and I began an emotional roller coaster ride. I think they bring to light that most people force their selves through life. Sometimes we forget that the most important part of life are the lovely moments with our families and friends. The characters may seem like ordinary people living ordinary lives, but there are so many layers to each of these characters. The story has an extra marital affair, corporate intrigue, child neglect and some violence. here is plenty of suspenseful moments, heartbreaking realizations, and pleasant surprises. I am particularly impressed by the well written character, Park Dong Hoon. All of the extra characters are also very much needed to make this story complete. Some people may think that this drama is slow, but it totally works that way. I can't explain why the characters of this drama touched me, but I cried and laughed and stared blankly.

I like it that Lee Sun Kyun plays Park Dong Hoon with strength and conviction. I had honestly forgotten about this actor since Coffee Prince. He was made for this role. At first I admit I wasn't sure what the big deal was about these brothers, but each episode shows more depth of character until I was totally engrossed in their lives. People talk smack about idol actors and also say that she didn't have to do much talking or acting. To that I say you are so wrong. IU had a quiet strength that was palpable as Lee Ji An. I didn't know what to think of Ji An at first, but I felt sympathy for her and wanted her to succeed no matter what. The other actors are good also.

The music is good.

I may rewatch this sometime.

No matter what genre you usually prefer, I recommend that you watch this drama.

Refresh Man is a sweet romance with some corporate games thrown in. The corporate story is good, but nothing that is intense or gripping. I felt like it was predictable and sometimes boring. However, if you look at it from the love story side of it, then it is beautiful and fun. It is a little cheesy at times, but it seemed to go with the flow of the story. The side stories for each character actually add to the story and to the understanding of the male lead. Also, it helps with character development. I think the ending was well done, but could have spent more time on the lead couple.

I don't watch many Taiwanese dramas, so I don't know the actresses well. I wonder if Tseng Joanne is a popular actress. She drove me crazy with that frown look. Very rarely in this drama was she smiling naturally. I don't know how to explain my aversion to her acting, but she is pretty. She did an ok job as Zhong Yu Tang. I didn't think she had any chemistry with Ji Wen Kai played by Yan Aaron. Maybe it was because they knew each other since high school. I hear Aaron plays a lot of CEOs. I can see why since he does it well. He was efficient but not cold. I enjoyed his character a lot. This is the second time I have watched Lee Jack play the second lead. In this one he was more of a jerk as Wang Zi Yu. He is cute though. LOL The other actors are good also.

Some of the music I really enjoyed and some of it I absolutely hated. Lalalalalalala

I won't rewatch this.

This story isn't new and I have seen it done better. First of all, for a drama that is only four episodes long, I really was tired of rewatching the same scenes over and over. The premise is good, but the actual show is kind of boring. If you like this type of drama, then I recommend Nine: Nine Times Time Travel. It was much better.

The young Moon Ga Young is totally adorable as Mimi. Chang Min does well as the really cute and tormented Min Woo. No amount of good acting could make this short drama good though.

The music is pretty good.

I won't rewatch this, but I think it is rewatchable considering it is only 4 episodes.

Once again I was totally captivated by Iris. I think that although there are some reminiscent scenes in this sequel, there is also a great continued story line. My only complaint (really since this isn't a romance, it isn't like I can complain that much) is that I didn't feel anything between Yoo Gun and Soo Yeon. Well, at least from her end. However, the rest is action packed and suspenseful. I really thought it was interesting that from some characters point of view, they thought they were doing what was right for their country no matter what the action. Then there is Iris motivated by power and greed. Of course, I could see the ending coming a mile away (as I'm sure most people will), but it was fun to watch it play out. I have tons to say, but we can't post spoilers...so...

When it comes to acting, I believe Jang Hyuk has a gift. I laughed with him and I cried with him. His personality change was believable. I was fully invested in his character as Yoo Gun. Kim Yeong Cheol did another excellent job as Baek San. At this point I can't decide if I love him or hate him. His character is truly on of those that show there are two sides to everyone. I gave the acting a 10 for those actors alone. Lee Bum Soo is no joke as Yoo Joong Won. I really had no clue what his character was about for a while. Oh Yun Soo as Choi Min was also good, but nothing special. I felt like she was just a way to keep Yoo Gun in the story line and then she was gone. Lee Da Hae as Soo Yeon left a lot to be desired in my opinion. I felt nothing for her character except when Yoo Gun was upset. I thought Im Soo Hyang as Yun Hwa was a heck of a lot better. I can't give away the ending, but if there is an Iris 3 and she is in it, then I'm totally watching it. I also thought that Doo Joon from B2ST and Lee Joon from MBLAQ were good. This is the first time I have seen them act and they didn't suck.

OH...and watching the outtakes made me think that a lot of these actors did their own action scenes and were hurt. It looked brutal to me. So props to all of them for that!!!

The music was pretty good. GO and Mir singing "Foolish Me" is a really good song that you should check out even if you don't watch this drama.

I might rewatch this sometime.

If you like action and suspense, then this is a drama that you should watch. :-)
