Action sageuks are nothing new, but I guess what sets this apart is the use of ice, something we now take for granted, as the centerpiece of the story. The ensemble cast is pretty delightful, and is well led by Cha Tae Hyun, who does well as always as the deceivingly bumbling but smart protagonist. His character plays off of Oh Ji Ho's straight-laced, principled character, as always. It makes for many humorous hijinks and dramatic tension and conflict. By the end of the show, I came to love every single character. The ending credits do have some extra material to enjoy, so don't turn it off till it's really over! An action sageuk that provides the right thrills, spills and laughs. A very enjoyable ride.
