one thing loved the chemistry,and acting and they actually had love that was expressed in more than stares and those famous back hugs. this was a combination of The Glamorous Imperial Concubine and the perfect couple only these two were somewhat better,for me at least.but i still loved it and enjoyed watching it, but i mostly loved the first half of it and would rewatch it up to there,because the main leads where steaming up.
FLAWS(may contain spoilers):with wu jis character traits he fell in love too fast,perfect couple did it well.
i mean you wouldnt fall in love with someone who u believe is your enemy that fast, he also became gullible and changed too fast, even lang ling wang Gao chang gong was not this softened(he was but in a normal way) and he loved yang xia woo like hell.
it kind of went off track and became a match making drama really, i mean too many impossible love affairs.but aside from that totally recommend it

since its a remake the story gets 8. but over all this drama would get 11/10 if that was possible. we talk about chemistry but these two main leads ha over heating chemistry. not only with them selves but there ex-lovers as well. yeah their acting was that good. Most k dramas have chemistry but few have passion. this one hit it, the viki commentators kept on asking "is this a k drama??". the acting of sad scenes reminded me of kim soo hyun and his younger version in the moon embraces the sun because you could see and feel the agony and pain they were feeling. and not forget the comedy, sound effects, the music...sigh. apart from a few editing mistakes this drama was SUPERB!!! I WILL RE-WATCH IT WHEN EVER I NEED TO BE REMINDED OF TALENT OR WHEN I NEED A GOOD LAUGH.

Next: the character Do young ha portrayed by park seo joon. is bullet proof as in no flaws what so ever. okay if he was to have a flaw it would be that he is too nice hence hence gals get the wrong idea, yeah thats all i can come up with, even when he yelled u could see over flawing kindness, he was straight forward, mature yet very immature at times who ever wrote him is a good writer.

Wow just wow. Before I watched it every one compared it to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, however Romeo and Juliet was not this intense. If only every drama had acting and a story line this good. seriously. I dropped this drama At first because I won't lie to you it's tragic right from the first episode, which is why it is the best politics romance drama I have ever watched. Have you ever seen someone thanking a person for stalking and kidnapping them. I finally did it ,After sixxxxxxty looong episodes I finally finished it, the story was great I loved the investigation parts, oh and the attendants where really funny., it was sad and funny at the same time. People think the politics we have now is rough, but hell has no furry like a concubine who wants to be queen. It was also one of those series that ended well. But it was long. I think it took two years off my life. And it lacked passion. And they all used the same facial expressions when they where thinking they all looked sideways then up. Then you would see the flash back. Other than that I liked the characters, huh jang ok Jong was a clever person really that's if this was really based on real history. I also loved the way it started i couldn't stop laughing. Then # bang ! It got serious people started conniving. It wasn't boring not even once there was always tension in the palace. I liked it.

this drama was amazing from the start the drama and comedy never stopped after some episodes like most dramas it continued all the way. they got a nice story and put in a very good actor Lee Seung Gi. i loved director bans husky voice hes scenes where very entertaining. oh the grandfather began the comedy from the first episode ,and the gumiho was like a scary baby learning new things i laughed everything she called "woong-ah".the music and sound effects were great. Daewoongs aunt min sook was also memorable. to top it all up the whole cast was great. totally re-watchable. especially the scenes with min sook and Director ban. uh who am i kidding every thing is re watchable

Despite all the frustration that this drama has brought me due to the main character loving people like loving food today this kind, tomorrow that kind,i have one word DONG FANG BU BAI, if every character was as strong willed and dint need saving all the time like her umm.. him? her? okay her. dramas would be miles away, she had charisma,my god she was awesome, she is the only reason i kept on watching,well her and the cool kung fu, the actress who portrayed dong fang bu bai is really good seriously she had me hooked in the very first episode little did i know of the disappointment to come, the story was fine, just that the ending was too rushed but i highly recommend this drama , half of it at least.

You know the tension a drama has when it's about to end, this drama had that in almost all the episodes, there was un episode when I thought It was about to end seriously, I had to keep on reminding my self that I had mannny more episodes to go.
