what's with y'all separating two happy people????

got me smiling and blushing all the way through damnnnn it really could've been a perfect high school romcom??? just please quit separating two happy people only to avoid a cliche ending I BEG YALL it’s called a romcom for a reason and jumping on the 2521 twist isn’t a necessity. everything is visually stunning thoughhhh decent acting good chemistry pretty people i can’t get mad. + kim yoojung is the it girl in the making i'll definitely tune in for her next hit drama and also hi miss han hyojoo we miss you we truly do!!!!!! <3

yoo ahin song mino joint slay

boring but not like boring as haleeeeeeeee it's just oh he's funny OH look it's getting started fucking finally oh oh we're halfway thru it already??? lmao i just fell asleep OHHH they got a new mission???? wait what boring. the dongwook galchi constant rivalry to pure love not being the main story was such a waste i'm furious. i personally think the main reason the star-studded cast chose to do this movie was its 1988 background and how devoted the prod team was to the theme? which, you know, props to them, carried this movie. but still yoo ahin has always been bounded to the banging storyline so idk??
anyway they gave us yoo ahin the finest man song mino thee scene stealer pretty cinematography excellent acting from all the casts enjoyable ost and i found myself laughing several times so 8.0 it is

ahn eunjin as lee mijoo is everything to me

i was emotionally shattered when they announced that goodbye earth would be postponed until an unknown date (which now most likely would not be released at all lmaoooo) so my anticipation for the good bad mother kind of skyrocketed.
at first, i was a bit upset they didn't show us much about the high schooler days of our favourite trio and how their friendship developed throughout the years, but it's understandable as the main story started when kangho became a prosecutor anyway.
the good bad mother presents a heavy yet very important message about the relationship of parents and their children, children and their parents. it's a bittersweet story touching various walks of life, with brilliant chemistry and acting of all the casts. the jouri people remind me so much of gongsan (from when the camellia blooms), and yes, this is very very high praise (when the camellia blooms is still that drama for me).
ahn eunjin and yoo insoo's friendship dynamic might be my favourite thing about this drama. their behind the scene videos are so much fun too, i'm so happy that they're great friends now. lee dohyun is at the top of his game, it's really exciting to see him proving himself further and further. ra miran is an absolute legend i know eunjin was jumping outta joy having miran and her own name under one project. a very successful one, at that. the ost is meh but it's okay. overall a quite solid drama. also congrats on reaching the highest rating on wed-thu drama in jtbc's history, the one and only (2021) could only dream.

an okay project i guess

park juhyun was the main reason that i watched this drama but the whole cast got me seated until the very last episode. i was kinda expecting it to be on a pair with racket boys (one of the best sports kdramas i ever watched) but, story-wise, love all play fell off. i didn't really find the pace consistently neat and often times the development to resolve each conflict was either too sloppy or superficial—which did suck because all of the characters had their own stories to be unveiled in a deeper approach. one thing that i prolly loved the most and, safe to say, was also one of its drama highlights is whatever that youngsim and seungwoo have. overall it's a good drama. you may get all the giggles + tears, mushy sweet lines, great chemistry, and chae jonghyeop's genial smiles. the ost was meh but the main song was great, it did wonders to build the sport-ish mood (which again was not their main theme i'd have to say). definitely will rewatch it once in a while. <3
