Based off of webcomics, these two workplace dramas feature MCs that do their best to survive in a harsh reality—Miseang focuses on an entry-level grunt in a trading company and Awl a manager who forms a union in a supermarket. No makjang antics, just great acting and unexpectedly gripping plotlines.
Both solid medical dramas that touch on human issues with developed diverse casts, no irritating love lines and an OST that can make you cry on cue. Iryu is a bit more episodic and delves into hospital management.
Terminal illness, family, and a great love story. Both feature Domoto Tsuyoshi as the love interest, and the surrounding cast is similarly wonderful. If you liked him in Summer Snow, he pulls off the same role wonderfully in Platonic.
