• Strong Female Leads!! This is a MUST.  Strong female characters in general

  • Some of my favs: Start Up, 2521, Sweet Home, YOM, Summer Strike

• Complex Characters! I LOVE morally gray characters, can’t relate to or believe black and white characters

  • Some of my favs: Alice in Borderland, Revenant, The Good Bad Mother, IOTNBO

• Green/Beige Flags. I’m okay with red flags as long as it is not romanticized or normalized.

  • Acceptable: Flower of Evil, IOTNBO, 18 Again 

  • Nope: Love Alarm, Nevertheless (Song Kang pls select better roles ?) 

• Show NOT Tell! Some dramas overtly state the morals/theme of the drama from the beginning; too sappy/cheesy

  • Some of my favs: TGBM, IOTNBO, Sweet Home, 2521, 18 Again, Twinkling Watermelon

  • Too obv: Dr. Slump, See You In My 19th Life 

• I’m okay with happy or sad endings! Call me a masochist, but lowkey I love sad/tragic endings

• Hate the rich CEO & poor FL trope. It’s giving Wattpad

• C-dramas…can’t seem to like any so far. Would love to get some reccs though!

• Love triangles omg.

  • Exceptions: True Beauty and Start Up

• Excessive alcohol consumption. It’s so triggering. 

• Childish FL. Couldn’t watch Goblin because of this and the age gap.
