DOTS- an evergreen show
if you know anything about the kdrama world you know that 2016 is known as the year to produce the biggest hits in kdrama history. DOTS is just one of the many beloved shows released in 2016. I for one have watched over hundreds of kdramas in the past 7 years and still this is my favorite show of all time.I won't say it has a very unique or special story but it's one of those shows that you'll keep close to your heart. It's a rom-com packed with lots of action and amazing soundtrack. Even now when i listen to 'Everytime' i get flashbacks of the show. You will be rooting for both the main couple and the second couple. The side characters are not just their for support but have their own storyline going on.
The show doesn't get repetitive or draggy, each episode is engaging. The romance will also have you hooked.
all in all, i would suggest giving it a shot.

Night Has Come: a thrilling mystery
Night Has Come has a brilliant cast and unique storyline. The beginning was off to a great start and sets up the entire story to a high standard. The first half of the show was intense and enticing, it pulls you in, and leaves you in suspense, wanting to watch more. The second half of the show is equally disappointing. The story was eccentric but the execution was subpar. There were a lot of plot holes and storylines that led no where. To start off, I really liked the location chosen and how they set up the surroundings. the initial building was thrilling, even scary to a point. The lighting , alarm and music really set the tone, I especially loved the music they used for midnight when the citizens slept. Yet, with each episode the story starts going downhill. The behavior of the characters weren't consistent either. I also don't like how they gave both Jun Hee and Yoon Seo holier-than-thou personalities. It basically chipped away at their personality. The ratio between citizens and mafia was quite high, yet the mafia team played them like a fiddle.
At one point, I was hoping for the mafia to win, because it seemed like they were the only ones using their brains in the game.
I also didn't like how the citizens were portrayed as innocent and the mafia as the criminals when both parties were choosing to kill someone, both of them didn't have a choice, it was either kill or be killed.
I also wondered about the whole supernatural sub plot going on, even though it led to nowhere.
The ending was the biggest let down, with it being left open ended and with a lot of questions being left unanswered.
• How did they kidnap all the students? where did all this high tech equipment come from? If her parents were so good at tech why didn't they delete Se Eun's video or tracked it down to who recorded it and report it to the police? Why torture all the innocent students?
• If Jung Won is just a code, how did she gain her own consciousness? why did she only help Jun Hee and Yoon Seo and not the others?
• What was the point of leading the boundary up to the hill? just to set the tone? but there was no significant or logical reason to do so.
• why introduce the storyline of the ghost and then drop it mid way?
• Who took Yoon Seo to the parallel world when she fell through the floor? if it was Jung Won, how did she do it and why? If it was the parents, why would they do that?
• Who were the other students from different schools they showed in the journal Yoon Seo found? was it just for show?
• How long will this thing actually last? At one point the parents will start looking for their kids and get the police involved, won't they get caught eventually?
• is it even revenge if the students memory just get wiped out and they restart again and again?
I was so interested in why Se Eun was dead and whether it was actually some murder behind the scenes but the story revealed was also mediocre at best. The video looked so obviously photoshopped, who in this day and age in high school can't tell fake videos apart.
The saving grace of the show was the acting of the cast, special mention to the actors of Jin Da Beom and Go Kyung Jun.
