I really didn't expect this to go the way it did! I was expecting a cliche rom-com, maybe with some slapstick humor considering the time it was made, but all the funny moments were surprisingly toned down and endearing. There were some character moments that I really wish I got more of — especially because of how the plot developed; I felt like they could've done a better job of exploring past relationships and fleshing out the characters.

Other than that, this was still quite an enjoyable watch and I'm just happy to be pleasantly surprised.
