For me, what I love most about this drama is that it's such a realistic feel-good romance. If you are looking for a no angst, believable and convincing romance - this is the show for you. I love it so much for its realism and treatment of relationships, and how characters in the show actually do grow and mature from their relationships. The romance here is a slow burn, and may not be for all viewers, but I really recommend if you are looking for something lighthearted and yet satisfying.

Plot: solid as far as can be for a romance drama, no glaring plot holes. Pacing was good for me as I felt it gave the drama adequate time to really explore and show the various stages of a relationship from start to end. We saw different characters slowly fall in of love, we saw the tenacious "grey area" ambiguous stage, we saw sweet romance. We also saw a slow burn heartache, learning to grief and let go, and dogged refusal to give up.

Acting: incredible chemistry between the leads and you can really see/feel the love from them for each other. Fair Xing in particular deserves a shoutout because she was so natural and convincing as an independent, smart and bubbly Situ Mo. There were no cringey, overly act-cute (but trying to pass off as naturally cute) moments by the FL, which I really appreciated. Fair Xing was convincing as an outgoing bubbly girl, and also convincing in her sad/angry moments where she questioned herself/ her past decisions.
