this is the first episode that was truly shocking in this series - its the first time we really get smacked in the face with a concrete perspective of how different the world ACTUALLY is for these celebrities and wealthy people vs ordinary citizens even characters we've been led to think are grounded like shinhyun stood around and did nothing while a man was actively dying in front of her, she even asked ari what she was doing when she tried calling an ambulance for the person OVERDOSING ON THE FLOOR IN FRONT OF THEMas if what ari is doing is not the automatic response to the panic of watching someone die, as if its not common sense to 99% of people this episode REALLY hit me and i think this is the best one so far, i didnt expect something like this from this show, but it really delivered and got a point across, i could feel the heaviness and the confusion of the moment while watching itif i understand correctly, ari said that she is responsible for a man dying, and i think she meant him. its sad that she has to see this as HER fault, that she thinks shes guilty here, when so many wrong things lead to the moment of him overdosing, and none of those things were her faulti had to write something for this episode because i thought the way it hammered home the line between the wealthy and famous response to an overdose and a normal persons response to an overdose was just so surprisingly good?i didnt see it coming and im honestly impressed that they pulled something like this in the show when not much substantial has actually happened up until now

this show really is just miso setting a boundary, youngjoon learning to respect her boundaries and then miso IMMEDIATELY feeling bad and going back on her boundaries acting like what youngjoon wants is what shes wanted all along, over and over againthe further i get into these last few episodes efter the childhood kidnapping mystery was cleared up, the more i realize that this mystery was the only thing that made this series interesting in the first place.. and now its completely forgotten, its like the kidnapping never even happened anymore LMAO it was SUCH an important factor in those 12 episodes and now its just not thought about at all

this episode had one of the best intimate domestic scene between two adults i've seen so far in a kdramaits just casual and normal and nice (: doe haengseon tends to be a flustered person in general, there wasnt any of the usual kdrama Over The Top Hesitancy in staying at chiyeols place -- yes, she was worried for the people she cares for at home because shes not used to Not being with them and taking care of them every waking moment, but overall, she herself really didnt want to leave, she wants to stay with himand i think that was such a good choice for this scene, because it really nails home that these are fullgrown adults ready to be in an adult relationship, and i think it sets this series apart from the (doe very few) kdramas i've watched beforehaengseon is not used to being taken care of, shes always the caregiver, giving her EVERYTHING to support those around herso in my mind, this scene wasnt a classic Dude Convincing Girl To Stay The Night Because They Cant "Hold It In Any Longer" Even Doe The Girl Isnt Comfortable moment, it was a moment of haengseon finally choosing to do something she wants to do, for once in her life choosing to let go of the notion that she has to be a pillar in everybody elses life every single second she is alive and that her own wants and needs should just rot in a ditchso its SO SO SO important that haengseon was the one who initiated the kiss after chiyeol asked her to stay the night, and afterwards it also showed that theyre equals in the way that it wasnt about chiyeol and his wants, everything about this scene just screamed that they are two equals who both wanted this as much as the other!! -- where in other shows i've watched, it usually tends to be the man continuously trying to get the woman to stay, even if the woman is flustered and rejects at first, and then he usually pins her against the wall or a sofa or whatever... but i think this series really got it right!! chiyeol isnt possessive and aggressive, and haengseon isnt innocent and flustered to a faultthis series just keeps getting sweeter and sweeter by the episode, it somehow manages to do this while theres simultaneously a straight up murder sideplot weaving itself into the main plot LMAO

very pleasantly surprised at how well this show dealt with youngjoons family trauma and dynamic!!

i was so surprised at how good this episode was, i really wasnt expecting something like this from what's wrong with secretary kimthis series has been entertaining so far, and for me, the thing thats kept me the most interested is the mystery of why the brothers memories of what happened That Day, way back in their childhood, are the way that they arethis episode fully reveals that, and it also reveals the families feelings and dynamics in SUCH a good way in my opinioni think i get underwhelmed a lot of the time when series try to do something like this, but this time, i think that what's wrong with secretary kim did it perfectly in this episode, its exactly what i didnt know i wanted out of an episode like this!they're all getting to deal with their own emotions while also communicating them to each other, and listening to each others points of views!! i think everyone is understandable in their perspective and feelings, and im not left frustrated at how things turned out at the end of this ep at all (: it was delivered so well even doe its a hard topic to deliver withi loved that they all got to cry and release their emotions, especially youngjoon, park seojoon did SOOOO well with his crying scene that i wanted to start full-on bawling with him toowhat's wrong with secretary kim isnt a series that makes the heavy topics too heavy for the viewer to understand or relate to, i actually think they present them quite lightly, but in a good way because that matches the show and its entire aura, it doesnt try to be more than the show really is, if that makes sense -- obviously the topic theyre talking about is extremely heavy, but the series is a romcom at the end of the day, and it clearly knows thati love watching the family dynamic and feelings going on between youngjoons family, they all had their reasons to do what they did, this episode makes the people in their family seem so so so human, and its extremely satisfying to watch these characters be nothing more and nothing less than thatthis feels like a real family dynamic; where an entire family was traumatized and did what they thought was best in the moment, then not talking about it out of fear of reopening old wounds, only to have it all come to light later in life and then they clearly communicate why they did what they did, and i like that they kept up with this plot without only one person being blamed at the end of the episodeso basically, i was super pleasantly surprised by this episode, definitely the most memorable episode of this series for me so far
