A cute and realistic show about falling in love as teens
This was a super charming and cute show. Fluffy describes it well, but it was nice seeing a young couple try to navigate their relationship in secret. There was quite a bit of intervention by side characters so we are left wondering what would happen if these two didn’t have friends. But it’s also a situation I’ve seen happen so many times. It was still so charming to see the love they have for one another.
Katori and Tanaka ended up becoming great side characters and I wish they had their own show.

But, we never really find out why Takara loves Amagi so much. Amagi’s side is explained a bit but I wish they did that.
Otherwise, a lovely show that’s fun and relaxing to rewatch, and it has an amazing OST that really sets the mood and intensity well.

A cute and charming show and premise, though needing a bit more push.
This was a really charming show. The show centers about around the age cap of our 2 protagonists, and the conflict that leads to. Our main lead Minato is around 10 years older than our other less Shin, and I love how this is a source of contention for him. Age gaps are fairly common in LGBTQ relationships, especially male-male ones. You see the difference in how Minato handled it while Shin’s age and how Shin handles it. The juxtaposition is interesting to see and the hesitancy from our “old” lead makes sense throughout the show. The moments they have together are plentiful and cute.
Asuka and Sakurako are amazing side characters and there’s a lot of fun. I do admit at time Asuka and Minato felt like they had the most chemistry.
I do agree with other that he plot with the teacher, while he was a great guy, took a bit too much time, I would have preferred for internal conflict from our leads.
Still, one of my top BLs.
