this was an unexpected surprise for me. the storyline is good. a story where the teacher builds his relationship with his students and want them to succeed. there is no overdrama and change from the usual plots which is watch. there is sweetness and bitterness in the story. it also brings out a bit of sadness in you when u see how they are struggling for some recognition. everyone has played their role very well. it has a freshness which I never expected. I patiently wait for the episodes to be aired. I hope it ends in a good noteWas this review helpful to you?
Not a captivating one
I started watching seeing the trailer. The premise of the drams is lot similar to a lot of historical dramas with a small change that the FL is a Baduk player. the first 4 episodes were good. But it disappointed me when I saw the 5 and till jow the 8 episode. I understand that the FL had feelings for the Grand Prince but if she has come back for revenge then she shud have been woman of steel. That is where it lacks. she is still living in the past. there are people who are depending on her and she is on her own journey which I find a bit disheartening. The FL is a good actress but last few dramas I am disliking her acting as she has same expressions in all of them. She has very expressive eyes which can bring out lot what she has to say but I fail to see. the only expression I see is watery eyes. I was expecting a revengeful drama but it is a disappointment. The ML is a good actor and he has justified his role very well. I will continue watching knowing how it will end only because I like the acting of everyone else except the FLWas this review helpful to you?
a good action series
been long since I watched it but still fresh in memory. it was very good drama. I was expecting season 2 but do not forsee it. both leads are fine and seasoned actors and have done a wonderful job. the chemistry was amazing between them. all actors have done justice to their roles. there are few dramas which leave an impact, this is one of them. the ending is open ended. I want to see what happens next but I guess it will remain that way. it is a drama which can be watched many times as the plot is not like usual action series.Was this review helpful to you?
A journey which everyone goes thru
This was not a typical Cdrama. it pleasantly surprised me that there can be such cdramas too.FL was strong, independent woman but was not perfect. she had her own share of insecurities but learnt to deal with it. what i liked is she stood for herself without bowing down too much. she also expressed and communicated her insecurities in a matured way
ML was a typical non committal playboy. Deep down even he was scared and insecured but did not display it. His actions did when he was faced with it. He also overcame it through the journey
the second lead, sister also learnt her lessons thru her journey and realised nothing is forever and take it as it comes.
overall a beautiful story, worth watching as it touches the real aspects of people and life. the star cast was amazing. the chemistry was fabulous and made of each other.

nothing great about this drama
it started on a good note. although I find the female lead very odd and also her voice is very odd, she was shown as an impulsive and hot tempered woman in the beginning and then I thought she wud be shown maturing as the drama progressed. I jumped from watching 13th episode to directly 28th as I really did not feel the storyline progressing in a good way. it basically boiled down to the stereotype drama. I found the qing and cong interesting. also tialin proposing as soon as she had a break up is just something which is so stupid. no person falls into another relationship so soon. they take time to get over the previous one. I want to ask the writer about this if they wud have done the same thing. the storyline turn into ridiculous thing after few episodes. not worth the watch and the timeWas this review helpful to you?
a journey from childhood to adulthood
it is refreshing in terms of seeing new actors. I like the Camadiere between the friends and the support system they have for each other. the best moments for me is when su zaizai nags zhang lurang without stopping and he takes it so nicely. there is warmth and also a childlike chemistry between them. Gu ran and the second girl whom he likes is also engaging. Best for me is Guan Feng. His acting is superb. there is no nagging parent and till episode 19 no nagging third wheel. I hope such a character is not introduced and it will take away the sweetness of the drama. it can be continued as a journey of their university and the ups and downs they face together. looking forward for that.Was this review helpful to you?
