14 episodes and 10 minutes of love!
Ok, this drama was such a hype when the first episode aired cause honestly, the casting was good, the story was nice, and it had comedy, so it looked like we're gonna get a classic rom-com!brothers and sisters, let me tell you, it aint much of rom and com when there are exes involved and people who don't listen to their own advice!
you advice someone to let go of their ex and that both of them can move on and then confuse the man who loves you by going around with your cheating ex!
it was good, and up until ep 12, you'll love the sweetness! but beware of the last two episodes cause it'll make you wanna pull not your hair but the actors'!
it can still be called a decent rom com, maybe perfect for a one time watch!

This drama portrays true love as well as the meaning of sacrifice and about trust.....
So I had just completed watching the movie Kung Fu Yoga and I was keen on watching more dramas starring Aarif Lee....Honestly I'm not a fan of historical dramas at all but this drama not only became my favorite historical drama but also one of my favorite chinese drama all together......The story: The story was out of this world...No one would have expect such a detailed and sophisticated story(atleast I did not)....I'm not gonna give out many spoilers but a suggestion don't skip any episode...Trust me, if you skip even one episode you will be lost....This drama contains a lot of betrayal of trust....Till the last episode it is very hard, practically impossible to tell who is who, who are good and who are bad....We know Princess Rong Le lost her memory but the story of her memory will make you say "HOLY".....Won't give out any more spoilers....
Acting/Cast: The directors have done a great job by finding the perfect cast....many a times in dramas, you find that the actors don't fit the role but trust me in this drama everything was just in place and perfect....Zhang Xueying, Aarif Lee, Leo Luo, just perfect for this drama as the leads....I loved Leo Luo in Ashes of love...Didn't know he was in the drama but I was overjoyed when he was a part of the cast...All the other leads and the supporting cast also fit the roles perfectly...My favorite role was played by Huang Can Can as Chen Yu....
Music: This drama has some very pleasant music....The intro is no big....Just some soothing music but the song after every episode is so melodious and very addictive....Fun fact there are 3 ending songs which are played in sets of episode....But the song that played from ep 1 to ep 20 ig was my personal favorite....
Rewatch value: I know I gave 9.5 and not a 10 but that is because after watching it takes you a long time to digest what has happened...I saw this drama a week ago but am still not able digest the end of many of the characters(won't give out any spoilers)....It makes you not wanna rewatch but trust me after watching once, somewhere inside there will be a voice saying watch again....
Overall I just loved this drama very much...This drama has so much of life and such deep meaning....It is so worth your time....In the beginning, 58 episodes sounded too overwhelming but it was so worth watching...Especially during quarantine this drama was so worth watching....

As the name says it, this drama makes your heart filled with Sweetness.... Oh! A Love So Sweet!!!
I have got to admit that this is one of the best modern Chinese drama there is. Trust me, whoever watches this will not be disappointed at all.Story: From the very beginning till the end, this drama will keep you so curious and happy and also this is a very light drama where you have nothing heavy to digest. The story at first will seem like your usual Rom-Com where the two leads hate each other but the guy starts liking her and then there's a love rival both for the boy and the girl but as you keep seeing, there is a very different plot and yes there is a villain who is very unexpected(I'm not gonna give any spoilers regarding that). Overall the story is so good you will wish that there were more episodes. And also two episodes are there which will make you think that this drama should have had a lesser no. of episodes but the episodes after that make up for that feeling.
Acting/Cast: The cast is just perfect. Every member of the cast fit their character's personality so well and their acting was spot on. I'm not gonna give much info on the cast as probably everyone knows that every member of the cast have great acting skills and are are rated very high but from other comments, 90% of the people ship Leo Luo and Bai Lu IRL. Their chemistry is so good it makes me go "wish they were a real thing".
Re-Watch Value: I have just got one thing to say. Even if you watch this drama 10 times you will not be bored. For me it can even go for over a 100 times and I won't get bored. This drama is that good.
The music was fine. Not that big of a highlight but fit the series well.
Overall, this drama is a must watch. The things get very unpredictable by the time you're halfway. Do give this drama a shot, it is so worth your time.

Can I say Flawless?
ok, but I saw this series right when it released and it has since forever been my favourite series of all time! The acting, the story just everything about this was purely amazing.Lee Joon Gi has been my fav actor ever since lawless lawyer, but even for how much of a wonderful actor I knew he is, his performance here, I could not take my eyes off the screen, it's been a long long long time since I saw such a dedication towards a character, like there would have been no one better than him! Truly his best performance till now!
Moon Chae Won really understood her role well, we got annoyed by her when he was annoyed by her and we cried when she cried and when she cared, the way she portrayed her care towards someone who could not understand love or any emotions, that scenes will forever give me chills!
Their daughter and her love for Egg tarts were my parent's fav part, I can confirm! yes, because of this series, my parents love dramas!
And the villain, his terrifying self, his past, his interactions, were just * chef's kiss *!
For me, no other series comes nearly as close as this one, and I can and will re-watch this as long as I can!

The word 'Beautiful' can be described through this drama
This drama is so heartwarming, emotional yet is so subtle to the heart.....When they cry, you cry along with them......When they laugh you laugh with them......You just fall in love with everything about this drama......I was actually very hesitant to watch this drama but seeing such high ratings I thought "why not give it a go".....Trust me, if I were to see this drama anytime later, I would have slapped myself.....It is nice to have a new twist where the girl is rich and the guy though he can't be called poor, is not of the girl's level.......Don't be sorry, Thank You for being Brave........I'm still in tears hearing that.....Please, take is a humble suggestion and don't skip any episode.....I don't wanna bore the readers....But please take an effort to watch this drama.....<3<3<3<3Was this review helpful to you?
