brought back the golden era of kdramas
idk what others are on about. yall are so used to conflicting plots, unecessary drama and toxicity that yall find a lighthearted, healthy romance ‘cringey’? that's ridiculous. the entire point of a romcom is to be cheesy and sweet. anyways, imo it was a wonderful watch. the acting was amazing, the visuals were amazing, and the story never felt lacking even though it was 16 episodes of fluff. the ml was the greenest flag ever and the fl was so witty and charming as well her professional skills made her so much more attractive omg. the chemistry was off the charts! so adorable, so ideal. the drama overall was refreshing, not in the sense it brought something new, instead it brought back the 201-ish comfort of watching kdramas. just say you don't know how love works in real life if you're gonna call this drama cringey lmao your love life must be tragic.Was this review helpful to you?
they just don't make shows like this anymore
personally, i think this is one of the best high school dramas. kept it realistic and raw. showed fleeting emotions among teenagers. liked the fact that the bullies weren't there just for the protagonist's revenge arc or whatever and actually had their own development. loved the bond between classmates, that is an important part of school life (people on the internet seem to lack it). the pace of the story was just perfect. excellent decision of not having any romance, that's what made it unique. the bromance covered up for it anyway. the protagonist isn't flawless and it's accepted. the teachers were very well suited. it really gave the found family feel, we all love that. a really beautifully written story. i would definitely rewatch it. the characters got me lowkey attached.Was this review helpful to you?

it's melodramatic and cliche in all ways but strangely enticing and addictive. keeps you hooked till the end even though you know damn well you've read tons of such stories in your angsty teens. but sometimes that's all you need. amazing cast. extremely. hot. male lead!!! i swear he is the most attractive actor i've ever seen!!! his charm and subtle seduction through the screen was to die for. loved and hated the ending. ml's death wasn't so necessary. but i liked the timeskip. fl gets badass and the rookie soldier omg that's such a great idea. so much potential for a 2nd season! im praying!!! i really want to see the story progress with fl and the rookie. excellent job for a mini series. it was my first cdrama, glad to have had such a wonderful experience.Was this review helpful to you?
