A must watch

Where do I even begin…? This drama has it all it’s funny, emotional and tear jerking in all the right places. We begin meeting Yoo Hee who seems uptight and mean at first glance and the main lead Moor Young who is a cheerful chef.

Romance

The chemistry between Yoo Hee and Moor young is so good but at times Yoo Hee has a stiff demeanour which may be off putting - but I guess this adds to her character of a witch to.

The second male lead is extremely toxic and off putting. Everytime he came on screen I wanted to rip my hair out, he is so selfish that towards the end of the drama you hate him. But he also plots with Yoo He’s dad and that just made me hate him. He also plots to keep yoon hee and kidnaps her, so there’s that toxicity there. It’s pretty sad after you see him going for her background, especially after Yoo Hee expresses how much she liked him.

The other male lead is Jonny, he is so cute and charismatic. I do wish him and Yoo Hee got together but as he says it’s better to be friends. His character is always there for everyone, and you become to love him so much by the end. His love scenes at the start with Yoo Hee are cute but you can definitely sense the one sidedness, which makes you feel bad for him.

Other parts to add

The second female lead is very jarring aka Moor youngs girlfriend. At first you sympathise with her but after moor young consistently tries to break up with her, she tries to continue the relationship. Similar to the second male lead she is toxic and tries to hold onto the ML with any little thing. But one thing she does well is showing desperation, I won’t lie seeing her scenes you can see the actress really evoking those emotions well. ( in particular the scene where moor young breaks up with her ?)

Character development

I would say most of the characters go through development BUT the second male lead seems to be transgressing. He begins somewhat likeable ( even it’s hard to say that) but atleast you hold onto the fact he’s Yoo Here’s first love. But even at the end you just don’t like him, only good thing he does is drive her to the airport which is in the last episode. If he could he would’ve probably made her write a contract in blood for the hospital.

What could be better?

I wish we found out more about the Yoo Hee’s mum since she is mentioned quite a bit but we are not told often about that. As well as Params origins we don’t get to much about him being related to them.

The ending could have been a bit better but considering how much problems the ML and FL went through you end up being happy they can even relax.

Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a laugh and a cry.
