The Right Place, Time, and Chicken!

I think I'll explain myself poorly, but I'll try anyway. It's rare for me to find a show that I can't find faults with, that I never forward, and that I love every element of. From the colors, to the music, to the casting, the base details were perfect.
Then comes the story and the execution. Every single part was well thought out. I have never loved a show so instantly. I war with myself about getting bored easy, not giving things time. But... how do I explain this? From the very first moment Wen looked at Jim as if he'd seen the stars and the sun, I was sure that I was ready to give this time.

My review? People need to watch this show, not because of all the perfection but because there's so much to internalize and learn, and accept here. There's so much growth and progress for every single character involved. It's heartwarming to see this kind of love being shared. The frustrations of living, the amount of exercise and pain and MONEY it takes to just keep carrying on, that's what this show centers around. Being gay or straight or bi or pan or trans, just 'being' is sometimes so difficult, and this show is all about that. Just being, just living and discovering. I don't think I want to let go of the feeling this show left me with. The feeling of being full of love and acceptance and of feeling encouraged.

I am so thankful for this show, for the people who brought it to life, who thought of these stories, these peeks into another's life. I'm so thankful I got the chance to see this.

To anyone who's thinking or has thought that it's slow burn and it's painful, I'd like to say So What? I don't have any malice in that sentence though. I'm just saying... So What? It has so much to give, it has so much love to share. Let's try and embrace that love, let's try and accept that love.

I'm waxing philosophical about a show, but that's only because I feel full of love right now. And, I've got a strange urge to have some chicken. I hope anyone doubting the show watches it anyway.

Boring!!!!

Okay, I watched this because of the funny clips I saw. But, it stopped being funny after episode 5. I blazed through the rest just to get through it. I can't believe how overhyped this is. I'm sorry, I would've never considered it bad if that nonsense in the last episode hadn't happened. It was actually somewhat watchable even until ep11, despite me fast forwarding it just to feel something. I could've given it a solid seven if that whole "going away and coming back" nonsensical thing didn't happen. I just can't believe the rate at which people talk about this when the only thing it has going for it is the looks of the people involved and funny one liners from someone they didn't even bother to give an ending to?

Seriously, let's raise our standards from this boring, overdone crap.

It's about the details

I first watched this drama back in 2015. The only reason I'm finally leaving a review is because I wanted to express how much I love Ji Hyun Woo and Yoo In Na in this drama. The story itself is very easy to understand, in my opinion, others may disagree. I loved the flow of the storyline. The two leads together have the kind of chemistry that's super hard to find in other dramas. I haven't loved a drama's music this much since watching this show. I love the background music, and the OST is refreshing. These days people tend to overdo OSTs way too much. A link that I love, that they show, is her ringtone. I think small details like that are honestly the biggest attraction to rating a drama as a good one. The rewatch value is off the charts for me. I haven't wanted to rewatch a drama this much until I watched Because This Is My First Life. I somehow find the leads' relationship unproblematic and loveable.
Whilst this wasn't extremely inventive or showstopping, by the terms of the industry, it truly was a breath of fresh air for me. I had watched several dramas that have toxic and overly dramatic relationships, whilst there are a lot of elements of drama in this show, there were none in the leads' relationship, by itself.
Lastly, Ji Hyun Woo doesn't get enough credit, never has. I love his acting in every thing that I watch him in. He truly is a gifted actor. I had watched this drama long after starting KDramas but lord, I didn't know how this would change me.

Truly, I think I fell a little in love with the idea of these two being in Love!

I think the fact that I'm getting older might have something to do with this, but I couldn't peel my eyes away from the screen whilst watching this. I'm under 30, so I don't clearly understand a lot of the pressures they face. But, honestly... I also related so much to being a part of a family that doesn't really believe in you.
But, besides that, I think I related to a lot of the tears, i related to the pain and the moments where it got too hard. Not only romantically, but in life... and the ambience of the show was so warm and cosy for the most part. even the sad scenes, and the painful scenes, had a level of comfort in them.

I don't know what it was... perhaps something in the rain. ;)

PhuwinPond have done it again!

The amount of chemistry they have is INSANE! I just watched NLMG in anticipation of Our Skyy2. And, it doesn't have the best execution, but it's so endearing and sweet. I fell in love with the leads in the first episode.
This special is so very close to my heart, and Palm's choice is so loveable. And, NuengPalm have snaked their way into my heart. I love that they brought this show back and gave them a solid enough ending for me to completely embrace that they're never going to grace my screen with a new facet of their weird little lives again.
Honestly, this is very well done, I'd recommend this special to anyone who's watched the original. I hope that we get to PhuwinPond in something new soon! :)

Here to take you on a journey!

Honestly, it took me a while to complete this show because it's pretty heavy. Others might disagree but dealing with death and loss in each episode was pretty tough. I understand the Prakhan's issue with Tuaphee/Sanya. We all need something or someone to blame when things go south, and I suppose being the actual personification of death, it's easy to take his anger out on him. Karn, Nut, Cookkai, Yacht, and Singto were phenomenal. The acting was crazy. Singto was an unexpected delight!
The story could be cleaner which is why I didn't give it a ten, but everything else was awesome. I loved LOVED the ending. I cried so hard.
Tua and Prakarn are really... so very very loveable because they make sense. They make a lot of sense. I'm glad that I decided to watch this. If you're into slowburn dramas this one would be for you. <3

Weird concept, and great at making you cry!!!

Honestly, walking into it, it seems like a weird idea to be going ahead with. But, the way I bawled was unreal. I couldn't believe that they would have ended it the way they did in the 10th ep. I was so glad for the last episode, especially the last scene with the girls.
I truly love any show that shows a small slice of life with a larger than life concept. It's amazing.
I am still not sure about the Choco Jungwoo couple, but I loved the Milk coupling. And, honestly, it's so cute. They embodied that characters and the animals well, actually. It's strange to even write this down, I suppose.

Honestly, I cried a lot. Mostly, because I cannot imagine not having my cats around one day. But, mostly because I was rooting for all of them to be happier and to enjoy their time with each other. Anyway, if you're good with weird, this is for you. <3

I've rewatched this show at least 5 times. Please watch it!

I think someone said that this show is for a mature audience, and I completely agree. I think the elements it contains and the events that soon follow are incredibly unconventional. The overall storyline might seem conventional, but nothing about the way everything plays out is easy or predictable. To see people changing and evolving, and to actually believe that they are is so so beautiful. Also, I so entirely believed LMK's acting that when I saw him in The Lies Within, I literally had to put it on hold until I got over this character. Jung So Min was AMAZING. I think she played her part to perfection, hot and cold, stern but loving, whatever it was, she got through it. LMK and JSM are so so lovable here.
I watched it because I needed gooeyness in my life but I actually came out having learnt a lot! Honestly, just watch the show. Whilst it might not be for anyone, I always recommend this drama to people going through a tough time in their lives. Not because of the "lovers" but because it actually teaches you certain life facts without being preachy. <3

Problematic Pacing!

I love the actors and the story but the main problem is the pacing. It was draggy and slow for a story that could have had a quicker resolution. I understand that it was definitely because both the leads needed to understand themselves and their love for each other but a lot of the episodes in between seemed unnecessary and filled with really boring cliches. I liked the show, overall, but I definitely don't think I could rewatch it because of pacing issues. The filler episodes were unnecessary and really time consuming.

A MUST WATCH! CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH! PLEASE DON'T MISS OUT!

I will be very honest, I've managed to finish this drama in a day, and that's because I love it so very much. I usually like to binge watch comedy dramas but this is the first time I've binge watched a crime/thriller based drama. I usually prefer to take my time with it because it's my favorite genre. Anyway, this is BEAUTIFUL.
My main reason to love this drama are Lee Joon Gi, Moon Chae Won , and Jung Seo Yeon. The family. I've never loved any character more than these three. Albeit, it could be that it's still fresh in my mind, but honestly, from the beginning of the drama till the end, it's the most consistent thing in the drama, the love these three have for each other.
More over, all three of them have acted flawlessly. Of course, that can be said of each and every character, however, I'd say it with my whole chest for these three.
Finally, every loose end was tied up. I never questioned a single thing. Actually, the statement should be this drama did not allow me to question even a single thing and that's because the elements that they were juggling were beautifully laid out and every single loose thread was fixed. The end of this show is like all the puzzle pieces coming together.
Also, in the last episode, they used a common "cliche" but if I'm being honest I didn't mind it. I think the character was still well fleshed out and understandable. I honestly LOVED the show.

Enjoyable, Lovable, A little Sci-Fi themed Rom Com.

I saw a lot of negative reviews of the show that said the episodes didn't make sense or weren't watchable. This is made me a little conscious about going ahead with watching the show any way. To be honest, I've watched the show entirely and I don't understand what the problem is?
It's a perfectly watchable drama. The story is fast paced with multiple interesting elements and a perfectly watchable cast. The casting is actually good. The drama cast unexpected faces together, and to be honest, that was very enjoyable. The acting was followable, as in, I never questioned why anyone did a certain scene in a particular way. I actually really enjoyed both the casting and the acting.
Finally, the story is actually well executed. Perhaps two more episodes would have made it more fleshed out and honest with a great ending, but it wasn't at all bad. Honestly, with this one, don't go based on reviews but rather if you like the story line and the casting, just watch the show. It's extremely funny and fun and I would definitely recommend it to another person.

It's adorable!!!!

I don't understand how so many people disliked this series. I think it's important for us to have cutesy and diversified content for the LGBTQ+ community. I'd like to offer a few points here:

1) We can't either/or content. We need the cutesy stuff that explores deep issues but still remains light and fun. We can't have all intense or all light or all inoffensive or all controversial content.
2) We have to stop expecting LGBTQ+ content to be centered only around community issues. I'm queer as well, and as someone from the community, someone who's tired of having to watch straight content when I'm craving a particular genre, I LOVE shows like this. And, I love that Thai content creators are giving us so much diversified content without the need to make it only about the community. It's important to raise awareness, but it's also important to stress that most queer folx live just regular a*s weird lives. And, we need to embrace all of it.
3) There WAS a story. Did yall miss it? The story was that despite all of the pain and loss, two cute boys found each other. And, that we all go through difficult things, but we also find the good in our lives. Is that so hard to accept that the story is a meet cute horror flick? There's plenty of "straight content" that's like this, why's the objection only being raised with queer content?
4) They fell in love because they were both cute and attracted to each other. Please let's stop acting like dramatic things and moments need to happen for people to like each other. Can't we just be happy for the adorable stories.

Overall, the story was so cute. I could totally rewatch it. And I'm so glad I went ahead and watched it despite the negativity surrounding it.

It's so CUTE!

I know it came out before the series, but I'll take this as being canon after they start to date. Because, it's so cute and fluffy. The warning at the beginning of the episodes was totally accurate. Love this, love them! I want to see them in so many more things! I honestly am not sure how to describe how much I love the show, but this truly sealed it for me. I need so so so much more Boun and Prem content. <3
Also, I'm super glad they kept the various elements shown here in the actual show.
A lot of people didn't like the show for some reason but I loved it because it showed a lot of elements of realism that's missing from a lot other shows. The way people deal with trauma or how people cope with overwhelming feelings of love and loss.
Boun and Prem are great actors as well! <3

This is what happens when good writing meets good pacing!

Honestly! I cannot WILL NOT shut up about how great the pacing is. From ep1-12, I didn't feel like anything needed to be cut out. I honestly love BounPrem's acting, esp Boun. He has pure love in his eyes, honestly. WinTeam are hands down one of the best TV couples I've seen in a while.
The only things I'd change are: the telling of the background story for Team and I'd probably add a bit more depth to the music

Otherwise, I think I'm speechless on a lot of accounts. Esp because I didn't expect the SERIOUS lack of cliches. I was expecting so many dumb cliches to happen and then they just... didn't. It was SURPRISING. I had been putting off watching this because of a few silly reviews I'd seen, but that would have been my BIGGEST mistake.
God, I hope I get to see more dramas like this. <3

A Lesson in Longing!

To be honest, when I first watched this movie, I cried for hours. I don't know how to describe the feeling. I watched it in 2019 for the first time, and I still sometimes think about it a cry. For the loss of love, and the resentment that comes from longing for something that was never truly yours in the first place. It's so difficult to show these elements so truthfully and succinctly. I sometimes think this movie wasn't what I thought it was, so I go to rewatch it, and I'm a puddle on the floor for the next couple of days.

The beauty of the script, by saying so much and so little at the same time. The acting is IMMACULATE. To be honest, there were moments that felt like I was looking in on something so private and real, that I should avert my eyes. The background score is beautiful. But more than anything else, it's the feeling we've all experience. Doesn't have to be romantic, but having lost... lost what meant something to you, I think that's the greatest tragedy this film explained.

Tony and Leslie... I can't thank them enough for just doing this the way it ought to be done. And, Tony+WKW is always perfection. Will be rewatching again, I'm sure, just to make sure I didn't imagine it all up. I would recommend this for anyone who is grieving and can't let go. I would recommend this to anyone who's willing to listen.
