This drama was fun, interesting, a bit different but it lacked in some ways.

I will start with what I liked about this drama. The beginning isn't dragged out. The main characters are quickly introduced and the time travel “reset” begins within the first 30 minutes. While the pacing is fast, the story never feels rushed. It is good with the mystery, suspense, and kept you at the edge of your seat, guessing and wondering about what comes next. Ji Hyung Joo is easy to empathize with and brings moments of playfulness to an otherwise intense story. Lee Joon Hyuk portrayed him perfectly. I can't imagine another actor playing his role. What really intrigued/surprised me was that the female lead isn't stupid and can sacrifice herself. She played a huge role to find the killer and helped the Ml. Both of the leads are intelligent and work great together. Every action has a reason. All of the supporting cast has a background and we get to see their story. They have a role and aren't there just to be there.

What I didn't like about this drama: Their way too many plot twists. Due to the plot twists, it became hard to focus and the climax didn't feel that surprising anymore. The impact kinda disappeared and I just wanted it to end so i could figure everything out. The sci-fi element has no explanations-can't say I was surprised. The villain's reasons for doing what they did didn't cut it for me. The villains lacked motive and felt bland. Same old, same old. Both of the villains needed a better backstory, explanation, and development. The only explanation was literally: boredom. I didn't like how they introduced the romance but did something with it in the last episodes. It would've been better with no romance at all or at least developed it a bit more in the earlier episodes. I just felt that something about their romance was missing and I didn't feel satisfied with the ending. Moreover, making only one of them remember the past was a cliche move. I wondered what happened to the rest of the characters in the end, but that wasn't shown. There wasn't a lot of OST in this drama so I missed music.

Overall, it was an interesting watch and this drama is by no means bad. It has a great pace, despite being only 12 episodes. I recommend this drama to people who like suspense, thriller, plot twists, and arent that focused on explanations and convincing villains.

Honestly, their relationship and chemistry were just meh. Really bland. The main lead carried everything on his back. He was the one who did everything first and developed the relationship. She did nothing, just responded. The efforts were one-sided and I feel like they don't fit each other. Lack of communication and understanding. It was just awkward cause I feel like he loves her WAY more. thought about her, texted her first, asked to eat together, asked out on dates, and wanted to spend time with her. Her actions didn't really show. She was like the robot in the relationship. She just went with things. I don't ship them. She did get a bit better at the end, bit wasn't much and didn't change the overall experience I had with their relationship. Also, she was really nosy about his life. I got mad when she asked others about his past. Her sister treated him like trash and he was supposed to win er favor..? that was on the worst scenes in this drama. What's wrong with being rich? He worked way harder than those sisters combined. I didn't like how The ML doesn't take a "no" for an answer and always pushed things. He asked about stuff multiple times, showed up at her house even though she said no. I just didn't find that romantic. He should've respected her boundaries. He was a bit obsessive at times. His relationship with his friend was also kinda one-sided. They kept bringing up what happened when they were five, it's not romantic or that important in their adult relationship. They kept doing that until the last scenes of this drama. The connection is so cheesy, weird and unrealistic. What they experienced together is not cute. Warning: This drama has A LOT of cliches. cheesiness and stupid moments. I predicted everything from the start. The "secret" was so obvious! Its also slow, not a lot of things happened, especially in the last episodes. Really dragged out. At least Park Seo Joon is a good kisser:) What I liked was that the FL had a career and was feminine and dressed nicely.

Something about this drama doesn't feel right...

It's hard to put it into words, but this drama was frustrating. It was a nice story...but not really? It had potential, but it turned out messy. The device concept was weird and didn't make sense to me. It was so creepy that he was obsessed with her for 10 years. Mone on dude. Have some self-respect. Something was off about his character. I felt like I didn't know him and didn't understand how his mind workes.

I didn't like that Seo Woo kept using the device when she barely knew Seo Jin and lashed on her Seo Jin's husband. Like she has any right to use that device. She was really nosy and it was weird that they bonded over a device. I couldn't take them seriøsuly haha. Their conversations at the beginning were really weird too...when she told Ha Won, a stranger at the time all about Seo Jin and that "mysterious" man. I didn't like how she wanted to keep the letter from Ha Won. The other characters. i didn't feel like I could connect with them. They were just "there" Moon Soon Ho was really annoying. Ji Soo was boring and overdramatic. I loved the main leads' relationship. It was slow and fun to watch Ha Won fall in love with her. The hugged too much though... OST was really good. It fit perfectly. This drama was weird...? And a bit all over the place. I already predicted the "secret" It was boring at the beginning then it got better when the focus was on the main leads and then boring again. I had a hard time finishing this.

I felt like this drama was easy...not many things happened. Sometimes, I felt like i kept seeing the same scenes all over again. There were way too many flashbacks where it wasn't needed. I skipped them all and I also skipped a lot of scenes with the supporting characters. It's just visually beautiful -The scenery was amazing, the thoughts, quotes, and reflections on life but if you look closely at the drama you can see that it was bland and tried too hard. I felt it could've addressed mental health better. They should've filmed in other places too. I wish we got to see more about Ha Won's work as a scientist. I'm a bit disappointed in Jung Hae In for taking this role. He can do better:( I'm from Norway and they pronounced the words wrong. Even "OSLO", but that's not important haha

The last half of the show went downhill, I enjoyed the first half tho despite how stupid the story was. The couple had chemistry and their relationship was fun to watch. It was refreshing. Even though this show is so unlogical, It just pulls you in and you get invested in the story. That's why I think this show has high ratings. It's like it's fan-made with a lot of swoon worry and cute moments. Things you want to happen happens...

Low-budget is really obvious. All the costumes are cheap. The special effects suck, everything about the villain was REALLY cringy and embarrassing. I felt like I was watching editing and scenes from really old dramas. A lot of things make no sense, for example: How can someone hit their head on a wall and die by suicide. Lower your IQ and don't question stuff, that's the only way to enjoy this drama. I just went with things. The FL is also spoiled, loud, sometimes annoying and her actions are selfish. She doesn't think about the consequences. In the last episodes, the FL got extra stupid. She has been in a world that isn't her own for 3 years and still can't grasp stuff? The Ml lead also forced kisses on her- didn't enjoy those. The episodes were also rushed and what's up with that cringy ending? I had to ask myself multiple times "wtf am I watching?" Other than that, I actually enjoyed this. But this isn't a drama you can take seriously.

The female lead is so stupid! yeah, I know she didn’t know anything about humans, but she still lived in the ocean. Where is her backstory? She was alive and experienced stuff. But in the first episodes she acted like a dead fish and the worst part, she continues to make stupid mistakes. (eating with her hands, showing the pearls to Nam Doo, saying she doesn’t have a birthday) She could have at least tried to act normal, and learned some common sense. lack of communication between the characters. Their fights were annoying and unnecessary. Just say what’s bothering you! We have been through this a million times. Do you have to drag it out, just for the sake of it. I also found myself wondering why they started to like each other. They barely talked about "real stuff" And she was so dumb, so it felt like he was treating someone with brain damage. The romance was a little dry, and I didn’t like that she completely innocent. And why he didn’t take her to a doctor when he found out she wasn’t sane? it was also very predictable. (the reincarnation story was boring and cliché so I skipped most of it) He was a bit controlling (when he told her to stop dancing and wear longer clothes) She also did everything he said. And the "I will die, if you die" thing was stupid. The right thing to do is keep living, move on and try to find happiness. In the end, why did she go to his house and embarrass herself like that? None of them are supposed to remember you stupid! I hated the erase your memories stuff. He didn’t want to have his memories taken, yet she still did it and cause more suffering in the end. It was also sad that none of the other characters remembered her and the stuff they went through. The villains were stupid and boring.
Overall, I did like it, and enjoyed watching it (if I look past some plot holes) I was excited for the next episode and wanted to know more. I also finished it, something I don’t do with a lot of dramas. It was different in some ways. They dragged the episodes, but stuff still happened. I did predict some of the stuff that what was going to happened, but it was still fun.

I had conflicted feelings. I like and hate it at the same time.

It’s crazy how people ship Sae Ro Yi with Oh Soo Ah.I understand that it was his childhood crush and that he liked her for 10 years (just because of some high school memories, made absolutly no sense to me), but there’s a reason for why nothing happened in 10 years. If they really liked each other they would’ve made it happened. First of all, accepting the job at the company was a huge betrayal, and working for someone who made Sae Ro Yi’s life a living hell is disgusting, even though she admitted that it hurt her. She had good grades, opportunities but she chose the easy way out. I found it weird that she rarely visited Sae Ro when he was in prison and that they didn’t keep in touch with each other for 7 years, She could’ve helped him save money for the pub and contributed and supported to help him achieve his dream. But she did nothing. Only watched, never gave anything and accepted things from him. She had a lot of power and could’ve made Geun won confess and THE WORST PART she should’ve submitted the evidence she collected from the beginning instead of waiting 10 years. She was just selfish and cowardly and did not deserve to be with the male lead. She was like “Poor me, save me” I hate character that only complain, and do not take matter into their own hands.

Let’s talk about Jo Yi Seo. I didn’t like how she was obsessed and selfish with him, and every choice and action were for Sae Ro Yi. For example: She started to do business for him and gave up on college, took advantage of Geun Soo, worked for only him. Where are her personal dreams? It was too much. She was too depended on him and rarely had a life on her own. I hated how she kept pushing her love for him when he told her not to. She had been forcing her love on him for years. It was weird, annoying, and childishly whiny. She didn’t respect his choice, and got mad at him when he was with Jo Yi So. She has no right to make him feel bad. Its more than enough to confess your feeling once, and then you must keep it for yourself since it’s your problem. You don’t have to flirt with him. tell him that you love him and make it awkward when he just wants to be friends. This tells me that she has no respect. Her “I don’t take a no for an answer” mentality was bad. I liked how brave, independent, and smart she was. But her IDGF attitude was rude, and nothing can justify that she had no compassion and only cared about herself (except for Jo Yi Seo) , (the only reason why she « changed » with the others is because Saeroyi told her to change)
But a good person isn’t only good to a specific number of people, but to people around them without an ulterior motive. She was a bad friend to Geun Soo from the beginning, I felt bad for him.

From the very beginning, I knew Sae Ro Yi was going to end up with Jo Yi Seo. Not because she is the first female lead, but because of the depth in their conversations, how they support each other and how he looked at her. The show had many great moments between these two, but when she got that voice recording for him, i can’t describe the feeling. The other girl Soo-ah never tried. Never did anything for him and he wasted time liking her.
I also liked the scene where Seo Ro Yi opened the safe and went through what Yi Seo wrote and realised his feeling for her. It was emotional and cute that he realized that she been there all along, how he wouldn’t be where he is today without her and how much she helped him. But I wish their romance was a slower process and that Ro Yi` sudden focus on romance was slower too. And that Yi Seo developed herself more before their relationship started. For starters I wish she realized that forcing your love on someone isn’t going to make them yours, and that you should respect when people don’t reciprocal your feelings.

Other things that bothered me: the transgender was female, I was really confused since I thought she was a female from the beginning. Levi and the grandma’s story were unrealistic. What’s the chance for them to have a connection? And her living in the neighbourhood and at the same time be filthy rich. Weird, just weird. I also felt like the other characters didn’t contribute much to the business and that it wouldn’t make a huge difference without them.

I hated how the CEO got sick in the end and was going to die. It was a cliché twist to move the plot forward. I really wanted him to suffer, he doesn’t deserve to die after 6 months. I wasn’t a huge fan of the kidnapping; the villains were lame, and the issue could’ve been resolved if they called the police from the start. Sae Ro Yi lost every sense and jumped at it without a plan or a weapon. And when they ran from the gangsters, he suddenly confessed to DaMi. That was so stupid and made no sense. Not romantic since i couldn’t enjoy the scene, i was focused on the gangsters. Poor writing. It was like they tried to squeeze everything in one scene. Another example of poor writing was how he had a long conversation with the chairman when she was captured? I was like, hurry the fuck up. It’s not like you have all the time in the world. But I liked that he kneeled at the end. He finally understood that revenge and pride isn’t everything. He regretted devoting and wasting his life to follow the footsteps of someone who wasn’t worth it. It was a powerful scene. He was the one who kneeled, yet he held all the power. He was composed and crushed the CEO with his words. Even though you don’t agree with me about the character development. It still wasn’t out of character because a life was at stake and that can’t get compared to the beginning when it was only education and a job.

This drama is so charming because the protagonists do not come from some filthy rich background. Instead they work their butts off for success despite the obstacles. (Not to mention it questions what is “success”) It also shows that success is made with the trust among people. I found myself cringing when the drama forced itself to be unique/original and the whole Itaewon, foreigners’ concept was a bit cringey. But it was a fun watch with interesting/different character (Some needed more development, since I felt like they were statues) It was predictable at times, repetitive and boring. Especially the last episodes, they felt out of place. The OST fit the scenes, and I really liked the piano melody/music. There were some scenes that made me squeal of joy, and some scenes that me emotional. The feels hit me hard. I felt anger towards the people who made his life a living hell. I really loved Sa Ro Yi and he felt like a real human being. His traits, habits and reactions felt real. I hope he’s happy and finds true happiness. (I know he isn’t real)

Overall, I enjoyed following the journey of the main character and I was excited for the next episode. I watched the whole thing without regret and that itself is a good thing.

All the characters had good chemistry and the story was appealing. They struggled like real people and found their way out of it in their own way. I felt for all of them, especially Dong Man. The actor who played him did an amazing job. He conveyed his emotions in the right way, and I really fell for his acting. His character also had the most interesting story and personality.

I liked the love story between Ae Ra and Dong Man the most. It was sweet, a little predictable but exciting, nonetheless. What bothered me was Ae Ra bossing over him. I just hate people that yell and think that they are always right. He should also have the right to follow his dream. I applauded him when he first chose his dream and got disappointed when he changed his mind. I know she thinks she is doing the best thing for him, but she is not. I hate characters that are like “Pick either this or me” Why couldn’t he just stand up for his passion? And why couldn’t she accept it because she sees how much it means to him? Ugh! I know what the writers were going for. The “Love over everything” bullshit.

I liked the four main characters friendship, but I noticed that the other two were excluded in Ko Dong man’s most important moments, like his first fight with Tak Soo. It was obvious that they wanted to leave Ae Ra and Dong Man alone.

The relationship between Joo Man and Seol Hee got boring from time to time, even though it was unique. And I sometimes found myself either skipping or waiting for their scenes to be over. Because the of their boring love story that went around in circles, I felt like they stole the other two’s screen time.

The last two episodes felt rushed and out of place. Everything happened too fast just to wrap things up. And I noticed that important extra’s didn’t get enough screen time; an example is Dong man’s little sister.

Except for all the negative points I made above and some other flaws. I still enjoyed this show because it focuses on people who are trying to get up after being down for so long and their journey to stand up again. Also, I didn’t feel there were any filler episodes and I was always excited for the next one.

So, give this show a try if you like this genre.
