Addicting and adorable, but ultimately disappointing

I was absolutely sucked into the drama in the first half, but found that I gradually lost interest in the second half because of where the plot was going.

I also had problems with the FL, who just seemed immature and annoying. She was also always described as someone who was so strong she could smash rocks, but she seemed weak in real fights? It was quite confusing. Honestly, I kept watching for the second couple, who I rooted for way more than the lead couple. I felt that they had more chemistry overall, and more development to their relationship.

The cast and acting were ok, as was the music, but I generally can't see myself rewatching any part of this.

Comparable to "In a Class of Her Own," but not QUITE as good

The plot of this is VERY similar to the c-drama "In a Class of Her Own," where the story's centered around a girl who dresses up as a guy in order to attend an academy. However, differences that I thought made "In a Class of Her Own" better is that "Celestial Authority Academy" is a little more fast-paced, and as a result, I felt that a lot of the plotpoints as well as relationships weren't as developed. There also seemed to be multiple loopholes to the story, and I felt that the ending was a little open-ended (which I guess isn't always a bad thing, I just felt that the last episode went by too fast; we didn't get enough explanation for a lot of things).

However, I did like the cast for this drama, as well as the chemistry between the main couple. All in all, "Celestial Authority Academy" was enjoyable, though I wouldn't say I would rewatch it.

An emotional, but at times, lighthearted and comical historical drama!

Really enjoyed the characters and the display of martial arts in this show. As others have mentioned though, these writers are absolutely ruthless. They don't hold back on killing people haha. I would recommend this show to anyone who is looking to start a emotional, but also at times light hearted and comical, historical drama.

An adorable romantic comedy!

Really enjoyed this show! It was definitely really cute, and I loved both the female and male leads. Xia Linxi is a very independent and smart female lead, and Jiang Zhenghan is very supportive and strong-willed. I did feel that parts of the show was a little cliched, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Also, as others have also stated, I didn't really like Xiaoman and Yichuan's storyline as much.

Nevertheless, I still enjoyed watching this show, and I can see myself rewatching it! I recommend this show to people who like romance comedies that take place over a longer period of time (this one takes place from the last year of highschool to a few years after college).

One of my favorites!

One of my favorites! Loved the skating/hockey part of this as well as the character relationships. The way the actors played their roles also felt natural, which I also really enjoyed. I also appreciated the cameos of Deng Lun and of "Ashes of Love."

Definitely a (mostly) lighthearted rom-com that made me laugh a lot! I've also rewatched this one multiple times and I still enjoy it the same every single time!

Loved the main couple in this one!

I generally really enjoyed this show! I really liked the main couple and their relationship, and the cast and acting were great as well.

I was sucked into the drama within the first couple episodes, but felt that the drama started dragging on after episode 10. I also felt that some of the characters' actions (I won't specify because of spoilers, but it's the character in the last big reveal/plot twist) seemed difficult to believe.

I can see myself rewatching specific moments of this show, but maybe not the entire thing. Although this may not be the most memorable of shows, it certainly was enjoyable.

Love the cast, but the story was meh

I loved the cast in this, but I felt that the story dragged A LOT, especially around the second half. I was very much intrigued and drawn in by the first 15 or so episodes, but found that I slowly lost interest afterwards because so little was happening. They could have done so much in terms of plot and character development, and although I liked the cute moments, I wished there was more going on or maybe even some conflict in the second half. (For example, in the first 10 episodes or so, Xia Qing (Yu Tu's ex) had said she would never allow Yu Tu and Jing Jing to get together, but we never heard from her again afterwards. Even though it might have been a little cliche, I would have loved to see loose ends like these tied up.)

I did, however, I like the music/OST's in this drama, though I can't see myself doing a complete rewatch.
