I really don't know why is this series has such low mean score. As the title uncovers, Lonely Connections is about how does it feel to be alone in a relationship. And if someone knows that feeling to be alone with their partner they might appreciate this mini series. Even the actings, the inner monologues were awesome. I felt the solitude of the guys. Like they aren't together, but next to each other.
There are also more symbols in the series of feeling of being alone. Like dancing alone or playing with that ball, but the acting makes this series really memorable. This is also a part of the reality. Much more people are alone in their relationship than you might think.
The Game Boys movies also gave me the feeling the homosexuality means something different in the Philippines, this Lonely Connection strengthened this. I'm gonna pay special attention to the Filipino gay series.
