Sweet Beginning, Constant Torture Follows
I can't believe how this lakorn glorifies rape and abuse. Just shocking. Saichon raping Nang Fah?! Abusing her, harrasing her, uses his power to make her miserable for only beliving a lie which he could clarify in five minutes. What kind of a loser writer wrote this shit? These are all out of the character of Saichon. He would never make her wife cry or make her upset these willingly.Morover, that annoying evil sister's screentime is more than Yaya and Nadech. I skipped all her scenes to not have to see her stupid acting. What an annoying voice she has, omg. Like most of these kind of series, evil sister who made people miserable with lies, attemted murder, torture, abduction ect, has no punishment. After all those episodes of misery to the viewers, you expect to see something happens to a criminal and you got literally nothing. Even she is awarded with love, haha. Why Thai writers trying to encourage being evil? You're being forced to see that whore to the end, you can't escape her, she is nearly in every scene. You have just last 5 minutes for joy and sweetness without worrying for anything after waiting to see if they ever be happy and you got just 5 minutes thats all.
A fine start, very sweet first episodes, it was really promising. Of course it's all odd there is an island not under a government rule, no school, medical care or anything and the people not bother to call any officals when they find a person with no memories. But lets forget these for the sake of watching Yaya and Nadech in some romance. And you see that fun scenes but after 5th episode everything gets worse. You should skip to 18th episode from there. Believe me you won't miss anything. Between is just Saichon becomes mad and barbaric for no reason and rapes and abuses Nang Fah, and hours of evil sister's evil looking face (which people who can endure that disgusting face and voice should get awarded.)
This lakorn with Nadech and Yaya is a complete disappointment after Dujang Akanee (2010) which was mediocre but mostly sweet and moving at least.

Such a Pleasant Watching Experience
Fantastic lakorn. It promises a light romantic drama and executes it nearly at full. There is no intolareble evil characters, no annoying bad guys, nothing to disturb the viewer with cheap tricks. Bad guys getting what they deserve without waiting much. You like even them because their motivations are not evil but just little schemes for their little lives. Incredably, you dislike a good character more than them in a part of the story. You just want this good character disseappear and give way to our main couple. So its structure is so different from other similar lakorns. There is lots of cliches as expected but it tears down many of them too and those scenes are refreshing. There is good writing and solid directing here.Comic characters are all funny and lovable and gives a fairy tale aspect to the story. Main characters are not stupid and not doing (very)stupid things, if they do, it is all for romance reasons, not to torture the viewer. Nadech is all good, never fails even a minute in his role. A bit boring character though because he is all good and his willpower is indestructible but this is also comforting.
But Yaya... oh my... a fantastic exciting character and she is playing it top notch. So successful to overcome the hardship of showing the progress and evolution of her character skilfully. At the same time, spreading cuteness and beauty all over the place from beginning to end amply. She is charming every scene she is in, just incredible.
Farming life and scenery is so good to see. Story is flowing, sometimes slow but I'm not bored a bit. Thanks to the writer, good dialogs and fast solutions enduring the viewers' nervousness and don't give stress but just joyment. You don't have to fast forward any scenes. Such a pleasant watching experience.

Cuteness Bombardement with Very Lazy Script and Direction
Yaya must had been ordered to be extra sweet and ultra cute in this series. She is burnig the scenes with her charm but sometimes this cause unnecessary 'big' and messy acting. However, acting is not a problem at all, next to the amateurish writing. There are some scenes making fool of viewers. For example; Matthana dropping her shoes to the ground from the tree she climbed sneakily in ex-celebrity Tawan's garden and when they cauught her and make her out of the house she is not saying a word about her shoes. Writers so lazy that they are not capable to find a proper way to leave the shoes at the garden. They need those shoes later in that house for story reasons but they make it in a way that Matthana is an idiot not recognise she doesn't has her shoes on her feet in a rainy weather. That's just a little example. There are lots of such errors.
Also, Matthana begining to work in Tawan's house with a fake ID and when they found out this they don't report her. Now this need a proper reason. A reporter acting like a maid and begins to work in your home with a fake ID and searching for your private life... There is a serious crime here. A guy like Tawan who hates reporters does nothing for it, no report to police?? That's ridiculus.
Bad guy is so evil and extremely determined to get his revenge from Tawan, so you're expecting something Tawan did to him in the past. But you are learning at the end that it's nothing. In a shockingly stupid scene, he says his foster parents raped him, because he went with them from the temple of orphans instead of Tawan. I mean he needs someone to be angry other than his rapist foster parents and he chose Tawan for lliterally no reason. I pity to he writer's cluenesness. Other bad character Risa is very underused that why they need that character in the script is beyond me. So, writing is shamefully messy and director is not helping too.
Aside those, Maya Tawan is still fun to watch. Yaya has big screen time, especially in first episodes she is nearly in every scene which is a big plus. Romance is satisfying, supporting actors are all good, also there is not a single annoying character which is very rare in this kind of lakorns. If you can avoid the story errors ect., it has a good rewatch value.
A side note: This is a part of the Three Muskeeters series but they're not the three muskeeter reporters' story. Here the main story is Tawan's backstory and his struggles and big sorrows are all boring to me that I would liked to know more about Matthana's life instead.

A Missed Opportunity
When I saw the writer is the same one with Klin Kasalong I was expecting another disaster, because Kasalong is one of the most awfully written series ever. Surprisingly, this one is not that annoying but still badly written. Especially in last episodes writers make fun of with viewers' intelligence. Lots of stupidty going on with some cases which could easly solved, but they keep it make hard with disturbingly childish ways and cliches. This is a murder mystery series but there is no excitement. Episodes are too long and very slow. I guess they had to make it at least 90 minutes every episode but if it was one hour episodes, pace would be much much better and suspence would be occured.
As it is a murder mystery and there are so many intense scenes like bloody murders and hard to watch rape scenes, there is comedy too which is ok. But romance is another failure here. Two main characters showing dislike each other without any positivness, no sweet moments with each other at all and then suddenly last two episodes tries to build this romance. There is zero clue this two are attracted to each other. Should we supposed to see the love in all those angry and annoying moments, that shoutings? No, writers and director don't give such a clue, and wants us to belive their sudden change of heart.
It would be a great show if the writers were talented and wise enough and also if it edited way shorter. A missed opportunity which leaves us only good acting of Nadech and Yaya, some supporting cast and beautiful scenery.

Torture and Sorrow
This lakorn's script is the most awful and stupid one I've ever seen. 22+ hours of non-stop torture and sorrow porn with zero intelligence. It has a promising start but falls to dullness immediately. They somehow managed to create the most imbecile, incredibely idiot main guy character ever. He's supposed to be an educated and clever man but all you see is his stupidity and blindness in every sense.Yaya probably wanted to show her acting skills with playing 3 different characters (which she is so good as always) but that must make her blind to this mess of lowest grade storytelling. This is a direct insult to the viewers minds. Such a disappointment.

Cute Little Romance Comedy Which Never Dissoppoints To The End
It's really funny and all charactaers are fun to watch. Even bad guy's laugh is so funny that his bad acting still makes you enjoy it. Maybe leading man is a bit wrong casting, he seems to not has enough charisma to be a fiancee of a supermodel. All other actors are giving their best and so ggod in their roles. Daraneenute Pasutanavin's acting especially in her episode 6 is outstanding, that she shows off her talents and comedy skills beatifully. And Yaya demonstrates the improvement in her acting since she started. She is incredibely good, her acting is so sharp and direct. A big force in every scene she is in, you can clearly see why she is so special. I guess this is the first production her name comes first in the credits and she helms perfectly her tomboy character.
There is solid writing some really funny scenes begining to the end, all provides a satisfactory watching. Even the second copule's love story is very exciting. Despite some bad directing here and there and a bit unsolved bad guys situation, I loved every minute of this lakorn.
