psychotic roller coaster !!
Continuing to watch till S3 was not a bad idea after all! This drama will forever remain in my heart. I never have hated and loved the same person so much in my life other than Penthouse Characters. The Pecanpie: War in life (this title makes more sense)
This drama game me a new experience which I never had with any other drama. Rage, Anger, Tears @ 2am, Butterflies in my belly, Anxiety, Anger issues, Incomplete assignments, you name it. It gave me all. But most importantly, I felt like I've undergone this entire journey of penthouse. As a viewer who started watching when S1E1 aired, I can tell that I felt like I was a character inside this drama. Watching all the actors grow, I truly feel like I was a part of everything!!!
If you are watching for a plot, don't watch it.
Thankyou Penthouse for this amazing journey!! I cried, I got angry over the plot, I laughed, I cringed, I smiled, experienced second hand embarrassment from characters here :P My point is do give it a try.
Dr.Ha, I love you and i'm sorry.<3
SPOILERS: (do not need to read)
EPISODE 1: (7/10)
The plot is very messy by far. Many things are so out of hand already in the 1st ep. I was hoping for a friendship between Rona and Seokyung. I can't predict what's gonna happen next. I am disappointed on Seokkyung. I loved her character and somewhat understood her till S2 but rn, she is nothing but a possessive brat. Seokyung's character development is all over the place.
And by far, the person with Logan seems innocent to me. Idk why. I have a feeling that LOGAN isn't dead or idk maybe im clowning myself. The jail scene of the Hera Palace ladies gave me satisfaction. I'm sure there's something between Jenny's dad, JDT and Min Hyuk. . I honestly don't ship Rona and Seokhoon anymore. After they got close, BBR has lost her bold character. She is dependent on JSH now. I trust nobody except SSR at the moment.
EPISODE 2: (4/10)
I was so excited for S3 but at this point, its just comedy and absurd nonsense. Like seriously? What the heck is going on? I'm dissapointed! On the directors, on the plot. Bringing out yet another twin seriously? couldn't the makers think about something better? And i hate how everything is going. I really wished to see the three FL work together but now it seems like OYH and SSR are gonna be each others rivals as well. Seokyung brat deserves nothing! Not even her mom and brother!
EPISODE 3: (9/10)
Finally the penthouse 3 is BACKKKK. Ok this episode was pretty good, I feel satisfied. This is the best episode yet in season 3. I even thought of stopping watching this, but now it looks like it's coming back on track to the real 'Penthouse' vibes. And I see a possibility of one more twin? Of Seol ah? Please no.
EPISODE 4: (7.5/10)
There are just too many plottwists that makes it plotless. These plot twists were really fun, but now it's just too much. I only hope Yoon -Hee is not dead. And all the blood relation and all makes it so annoying. THIS IS GETTING BORING SINCE JOO DAN TAE IS ALWAYS WINNING.
EPISODE 5: (4/10)
Again, plot twists. I'm just sick of it but i' living for this cringe. Yet another main character dies? And yet another mysterious guy is there tf. In the preview of next episode Na Ae Gyo is back. If it happens, i'm gonna pack my stuff and leave. Although this is a drama, i really wished the writers would make it atleast practical. But still, the revenge and hatred game is on!!
EPISODE 6: (5/10)
One word for this episode : A mess
There are no characters that I can consistently support in this drama. Not even SSR at this point. This drama is making me lose all my braincells yet I'm still watching it.
EPISODE 7-12: (6/10)
No words, just complications
EPISODE 13-14: (7/10)
Continuing to watch was not a bad idea after all!!

Here's the scoop! Highly recommended for mature audience. (NOT REALLY- ps future me)
( I wrote this after watching 3 episodes and I completely disagree with what I wrote lol. Read my other review)RISING BY BREAKING STEREOTYPES !
I love it how this drama breaks a 'typical Kdrama' stereotype. In almost drama I've seen before, the feelings of male lead is quite straight forward. We could clearly see the emotions of the ML. But here, the story is shown so beautifully. I loved the new concept that this drama serves. Song Kang is a great actor and the FL's eyes are quite expressive. The support roles are amazing as well. Music is just chefs kiss*
This is rather mature drama than the normal 'rom-com' ones. Overall, this is the drama that the entire kdrama industry has been waiting for where the FL just doesn't stand there like a fish while being kissed. Its a spicy drama with great visuals and production. I love it!! Definitely recommend to watch this!

Not your basic GORE FEST
Overall, this drama is amazing! After Train to Busan, the zombie-gore genre has been hyped in the south Korean entertainment. Reaching the benchmark of amazingly produced TTB, 'ALL OF US DEAD' was an even better in terms of cinematography and production value. The makeup and graphics were on point. At some point, the intensity of the graphics were so high that i covered my eyes even if I am a huge fan of gore. But is it just the gore? No!!
The strong message of humanity was what touched me. Bullying and torment in such extreme level does actually prevails and it shows how it affects an individual. Parenthood is depicted in a beautiful way as well.
"No parent would want their child to die right?"
On-jo's dad sacrificed himself to save his daughter, Cheongsan's mom came running for her son and the school girl who just delivered her baby, tied herself up to keep her baby safe. It shows that the professor who created the virus was lead by his love for his child.
It also shows how every character is not-so-humane and depicts the character flaw. But, the horryfying thing is it didn't had any likeable character at all. The plot has its focus on each character so we can see only part of each. My favorite character has to be the teacher and the detective!
Overall, great experience. Completed in one sitting and not boring at all! The cliffhangers does its job and where do I even get started about the intro? It's by far one of the best intro i've ever seen. I loved it.

Give this drama a shot!
If you are wanting a love-romance plot then this drama is not for you. If you are here just for Shen-yue, this drama is not for you. Vivienne Tan is the narrator here so I believe she has a stronger role but who knows? I haven't watched it all.It has a bittersweet story to all characters. This drama is not focused on just a single character and truly brings out everyone's personality. It has covered many topics that we face in daily life. From family problems, mother-daughter relation, fear of not being enough, personal boundary, childhood crush to amazing friendship! You name it.
It does has many characters because the plot revolves around four girls but trust me, it does its job of not overshadowing but keeping it fun and exciting at the same time. I loved to see Leon Leong from METEOR GARDEN casted in this drama. His character is not that overpowering but sweet and subtle.
The thing I would like to see was a bit differences in the personality of girls rather than jumping into the same stereotype where one of them is nerdy, one is boyish, one is overly sensitive princess and the other one is sassy rich girl. But as the title says, BE YOURSELF.
I hope this drama lives upto its name and succeeds to convey its full potential.

heartwarming, light and fluttering
Finally the most awaited drama. The plot and the cast looks really promising. If you are in for something cute and light, definitely give this a shot. Everything looks very realistic and the funny scenes are just cherry on top. Humor of the ML is top tier and the dialogue delivery is so effortless by all the characters. I am rooting for our dimple couple!!!The plot is simple but even in the starting episodes, it has firmly gripped the base. The ML was "Good Boy" in Start up and here every granny's boy. lol
The setup gave me when-camellia-blooms VIBES. I love himmm. His character is just so naturally bubbly and lovable ahhh.

Everything goes wrong from the start
Dylan Wang is one of my favourite chinese actorr after Meteor Garden. I'm not saying that his acting was bad but it didn't quite set me from the first minute. This was my first drama relating to supernatural animal humans in chinese drama. To be honest, this concept is not for me. I didn't like the set design and the FL seemed quite cringely, foolish-kind type. The thought of a person sleeping cuddling with you who you thought was a snake was just creepy. The friend of the FL apparently was straight up dumb.I dropped in the 1st episode because its too cringey for me and i couldn't push myself to watch more of it.I love you Dylan
