So refreshing!! ?

first of all, i never felt so comfortable watching a k-drama. like, every episode that i watched i felt like I was having a popsicle on a refreshing, sunny day. the fun, chaotic, youthful energy made me feel good, made me want to be friends with the characters.

speaking of the main song, wow what a good song!! I've never heard an OST so enjoyable to listen to!

and of course, I can't forget sign language, it was a great plot! it was also cool to see some of the korean sign language.
I also can't deny that I was moved in many parts, not only in the sad ones but in the happy ones too!

The only criticisms I have are:

1° they could have shown how On Eun Yu's life turned out after their return to 2023. What happened? What has changed?

2° There could be a part where Ha Yi Chan asks Ha Eun Gyeol how he found the cassette tape of his old song.

3° They could show in detail how Yoon Cheong Ah and Ha Yi Chan's lives changed. We can see it, but not much.

ah, anyways, this k-drama will stay in my thoughts for a long time. I've never seen a drama like this! it was a refreshing experience 🍉

cool but... weak?

Brave Citizen is an ok movie for me and the reason is because the plot is childish and unrealistic.

I mean, why and how there would be a boxing tournament in a SCHOOL where students are watching and the TEACHER is fighting against a student? 😭
How on earth this would be approved to happen?
Don't get me wrong, the bullying thematic is indeed important but it shouldn't have been so childish.

The Male Lead was interesting but he started to turn into a cartoon villain at the end in my opinion.
Plus, after the whole fight, how the teacher didn't ended up arrested? She beat up her student (the bad boy) and nothing happened? Even though he (student) had a powerful family that could do anything to arrest her?

Well, besides everything i said, the actors did their jobs amazingly, it would be waay better if the whole story had taken a new path so they would have shined even more

obs: i loved the teacher's "meoow" lol

a good melodramatic drama, but!

The final episode literally killed me inside.
Seeing Baek Hyun-woo as an elderly at Haein's lapid, then the portraits of every family member, then everyone passing trough the screen...I'm so damn sad.
For me, Life is so short and all we have as humans, that really has any sort of value, are our beloved ones and our memories :(

I loved the ending although I've might repeated constantly to myself that i hated (cause i cried lol) but it was so pretty, it's been a while since i last cried over a drama.
----
Besides, casting 10/10 everyone did amazingly.
OST is totally top tier! i loved every single one and the production is so so pretty! I felt like i was watching someone's memories.
---

Now, here comes my criticisms! LOL

First off, the premise of the drama is really good, but it has plot holes.
Like, for example, when Hae-In said they were gonna open her head but she came out of the surgery without any bandage on her head or some hair loss from the surgery.

Plus, her cure was way too easy in my perspective.
I mean, it's a RARE disease and she suddenly got a surgery just like that.
I know it wasn’t exactly sudden, Hyun woo did at lot of research, but I don't know, it was too easy for me. A rare disease getting cured that easily.
Not even the richest person can find a cure so fast or even find one.

Also, i think the romance between Beom-ja and Yong-song was weird. They just don't have chemistry to me. Both were funny a few times, but I don't think they'd really work out.

Now, about the mothers of the protagonists.
Hae-In's mom...she was very soulless. I couldn't feel any emotions from her even when she was crying/desperate, neither from Hyun Woo's mom. His mother felt kinda empty, maybe she was supposed to show strength and always be strong in front of everyone, but I think it was too much.

Also, Soo-cheol (Hae-In's brother) getting up easily in the fight scene after being beaten up, felt like one of those anime scenes where the main character is all hurt but suddenly remembers someone special and finds strength from who knows where. If he could beat those guys, why didn’t he do it earlier?

Oh, and the original president of Queens (was a character that should've been important but ended up being pointless, just a plot device. Plus, President Hoon's oldest son got no character development, neither on his own nor in his relationship with his dad.

To finish, the romantic relationships of Hyun Woo's siblings were unnecessary. You know that scene in the final episode where Hyun Woo's parents give his sister a plane ticket to go to the U.S.? That could've been replaced with another scene of the main characters.

Well, yeah i guess that's all.
If someone read this entirely review, thanks! 🫂

just finished watching and...

well, there's many things to consider about this drama. let me focus first on the acting/music.

acting in an overall (all the actors together) is 7. because of (don't kill me) kang minhyuk and lee chunga...please I'm not hating them!

there's scenes where Yoon Si-hyeon (Chunga) could have more emotions instead of a sad + tired face. i don't know if she was supposed to make this face bc of her character or what, i just couldn't go with it. BUT!! in fight scenes she was good!

about minhyuk, never watched any drama with him. I met him because of CELEBRITY and i must assume that i didn't have a good first impression of his acting... Jin-Kyung (Minhyuk) was serious all the time, so, yeah...couldn't go with it too.

okay, about ost: loved the outro song and a background music (it's one that has dadada, it's so badass) and i loved the intro as well!

now, story: the final plot was really nice. using deepfake to fool the bad people was really smart. but they could've shown the bad girls trio end. how they ended up? prison? poor? how?

and what about A-ri? apparently she didn't came back to social media but what happened to her? plus, what about bbbfamous? what happened as well? she recovered and got to prison? received psychologic treatment?

this doubts made me give 6.5

but, the story made me realize what i already knew, we are able to make a person famous living like a parasite on them but we are able to bring the same person down, wich is patetic and sad, to be honest.

oh and i can't forget, when bbb famous said all of that things before jumping out of the damn window, i realized: damn, envy kills people's souls!

enough of philosophy

i wouldn't re-watch because i don't re-watch dramas and i wouldn't recommend to someone, cause there are dramas from the same topic, but better.

CRYING

I just finished moved to heaven and I'm crying so that I am with headache! in every episode I was crying, bawling my eyes out

this drama made me feel so happy and sad at the same time, it made me look at the world with another vision... how life can be so short, how we think that our life is bad but it actually isn't and how we need to do things today not tomorrow, not let things for the future

I would totally recommend to everyone that I know and I would rewatch every single episode again

And what can I say about the casting?! it's amazing 10/10!!

Uau.

what and why?

1. what happened in the past credits roll scene? like, i didn't understand why hyeonsoo (wooshik) and his mother were laughing at the end.

2. couldn't understand how the wonderland program worked. the dead people's mind were there in their AI versions or weren't?

3. couldn't even understand if or how the characters had feelings for the AI versions of their beloved ones. we can clearly see that they hug up the phone calls without saying goodbye or anything, showing that they don't really care cause the AI people aren't real at the end of the day. so why they signed up for the wonderland program anyway?

4. why taejoon (bogum) was totally different when he woke up? why jeongin (suzy) ran to taejoo only when he was far away? why taejoo was mad or confused (didn't get how he felt) when jeongin showed his AI version?

5. why sung joon (gongyoo) had romantic feelings for bai li (tang wei) if she was dead?

6. if sung joon could enter in bai li's program, why they didn't bring her child to see her? and as they had the possibility to enter in the AI world, why this wasn't the main program instead of the phone calls one?

7. when haeri (yumi) canceled jingu's (jungsang) program cause apparently his grandmother was dead, why she told him instead of just stopping the program? and she was being serious or just wanted an excuse to end his program cause he was bad towards his grandma?
----
besides all my doubts, i didn't felt any compassion for the characters as they weren't well developed.

i just rated 5.5 because the cast was full of amazing actors and they did awesome. it's a pity that the screenwriter didn't gave them a good story and development.

nostalgic, funny and emotional

I finished Twenty Five Twenty One in March, but totally forgot to write a review. However, I'm watching the K-drama again because my parents are watching it (I recommended it) so I remembered to write my review.

To start, the story is magnificent, I've never felt so comfortable watching a drama. Even though the ending bothered me, the story itself is very refreshing. The characters are well-built, to the point that I loved them all. Even Ko Yu-rim, who I swore I wouldn't like even if she turned to be a good person, lol look at me now? I love her.

The actors are amazing, they played their roles with magnificence. I really enjoyed getting to know Nam Joo-hyuk (Baek Yi-jin) and Kim Tae-ri (Na Hee-Do). They are so funny together, they made a great duo (and couple, but too bad they didn't ended up together haha 😭😭😭).
Choi Hyun-wook, whom I already knew, had a cool role, but I think his character (Moon Ji-ung) didn't get enough screen time... or a bigger impact. Lee Joo-myung (Ji Seung-wang) had a big impact until the middle of the K-drama, but right after the case with the professor, she was pushed aside (in my opinion).

Ending the review about the story, I hated the fact that they didn't show how each one (except Na Hee-do) from the quintet ended up after the years passed. I was really looking forward to find out how they were years later and who Na Hee-do married, but we were left with a question mark, since they didn't show it. (I don't know why, for me there's no reason 🥺)

Now, the OST and soundtrack. Wow. Flawless, wonderful, incredible. I've never loved the soundtrack of a K-drama so much to the point that I saved the playlist on my Spotify.

To conclude, I really wish everyone who watches K-dramas would give Twenty Five Twenty One a chance. It took me 2 years to watch it and I regret taking so long. Watch it, it's really good and emotional

*Plus, an extra

this phrase made me CRYYYY MY EYES OUUUUT I PROMISE

"That's my definition of our relationship. Also known as a rainbow. Wait, you said it wasn't a rainbow. You still haven't said what it was if not a rainbow."
"Love. It's love. I love you, Hee-do. I don't need a rainbow."

DAAAAAAAMN BAEK YI-JIN MARRY MEEEEEEEE😭

still thinking about it

huh...so how can i start?
i finished watching the drama today and i just feel empty 😭

first, i was loving Gwon Seon-yul and Eun Soo-hyun, but then hated (not much) Gwon Seon-yul THEN i was disliking BOTH and THEN ENDED UP LOVING THEM SO MUCH. congrats to the scriptwriters for giving us so many plots!

one thing is that i wish they ended up being in a relationship of mom and son 🥺 by the end i noticed that they never hugged each other...really wanted this to happen so muchhhh!!

now the story was, how can i say, not confusing but very complicated. at least everything got connected, even tho it was a bit complicated (can't deny that i liked, i love mysteries)

aaaah, i can't stop talking about Eun Soo-hyun and Gwon Seon-yul...they suffered the whole drama, i was getting crazy cause everything bad was happening to them and their family! 😭
I'm sad that they didn't ended up really close 6 years later, both of them kind of completed each other somehow

focusing on acting, CHA EUNWOO!!! MY BOY PROVED (EVEN THO HE DIDN'T NEED IT TO) HOW HE IS SUCH A GOOD ACTOR!! he was a.m.a.z.i.n.g, can't belive he made me hate (then love) his character. Kim Nam-Joo, wow, her acting is impeccable, never saw her before but now I'm totally gonna follow her work! she made me feel the emotions that Eun Soo-hyun was feeling :(
Kim Kang-wo and Im Se-mi were really good too. I knew Im Se-mi from true beauty and she's wonderful.

ost, soundtrack: 10/10 love it.

just two things that i didn't liked much: i wish they could show how Kim Joon ended up like. what happened to him 6 years after? like, he was the villain, why they didn't show then? plus, i couldn't understand much how Kim Joon's secretary accepted to stay on Gwon Seon-yul side...the explanation was so...poor?

anyways, to finish this review, the protest made me so emotional, it reminded me of a real case from korea. Kim Nam-Joo represented the courage of a mother that never gives up! I definitely won't forget about Eun Soo-hyun and her hard story, she suffered a lot. not only because the death of her son, but also her mother's amnesia, her husband Kang Su-ho betrayal with her sister Han Yoo-ri and all the consequences of her actions (killing Gwon Seon-yul's dad, etc)

i will definitely recommend to someone! now, i need to watch more dramas like Wonderful World 🥺

19/20

i feel like i can't move on after watching this show.

i mean, i felt so many emotions for every single person! I've gotten shocked, angry, sad, happy...but at the end i just love everyone in this damn show 😭 i really do hope that they continue to see each other and i REALLY WISH that the couples stay together forever!

but as I'm turning 18 this year, i learned a lot of things while watching them. i could understand how feelings work even more. i want to have a chance to live what they lived in my 20's as well.

thanks for the many emotions 19/20!! 😸

wof wof?

I just finished watching the K-drama and let's start with the positives! Well, as you can see, it's a very simple drama aimed at being cute, and in my opinion, it did a good job in that aspect. I can't even count how many times I felt like a lonely single woman watching the romantic scenes 😭😭.
I also laughed a lot at the funny scenes, I found it quite entertaining. Oh, I liked the theater! It was very cute. The actors' performances were also great in my opinion, and finally, the story is quite interesting.
However, let's move on to the negatives now.

1st When the history teacher reunited with his beloved in the present, she was a teenager and in the past (apparently) she was an adult, so I found their reunion strange... I think she should have come back as an adult or not come back, you know? It left a kind of... weird atmosphere.
2nd The CGI of "Cocoa" was bad 😭 it was noticeable when they switched the real dog for CGI.
3rd The part of the story where the math teacher's rival in adolescence appears was unnecessary. He and his henchman made no difference to me when the real villain already existed.
4th The "romance" of the protagonist's uncle with the teacher was... strange and forced. Besides, the uncle had already died when he was in his dog form, why did he come back to life the next day?
5th There were many repeated scenes (the so-called memories blah blah) they were boring .

Well, there were other things I didn't like much, but overall, I had fun moments watching the drama! It was great to see 2 actors (Cha Eun Woo and Park Gyu Young) that I like acting together, as well as meeting a new actor that interested me (Lee Hyun Woo).

so much pressure

I just finished the movie a little while ago and I'm still thinking about the characters.
I was so invested that my eyes were glued to the screen!! I felt tense, scared, and angry, so I'd say it's a good movie because it managed to convey such emotions to me.

The actors did a great job and it was the first time I saw Kim Nam-gil and Lee Byung-hun acting!

But some negative points I have are: Im Siwan's character died so quickly 😭 I wish he had more screen time. I felt that the ending was very rushed, they could have shown the reunion of the survivors with their families and the recovery of the infected people. Lastly, I don't know if that was the purpose, but certain parts of the soundtracks just ended abruptly, without that "fade out" so it seemed kind of strange...

anyway, it was a great movie! i recommend if you like tension

haha I'm depressed

i don't even know how to start
first, i thought the movie would end well
most of the characters would be alive, but haha no
only the pregnant woman and the kid survived.

i wanted to know deeper the story of the characters to develop feelings for them you know? but i only had feelings for the pregnant couple and the father with his kid. (cried when he died lol)
plus, did the mother of the kid was alive or not? she didn't answered the phone calls but she could be alive.

i loved the action scenes! they were sooo cool!! the actors did an amazing job, i felt so emotional 💔 (Gong Yoo always impressive)

overall, the movie is so good!! i dare to say that is the best korean movie I've seen, but the end was empty...could have more

can't remember well but...

help i totally forgot to add my review to this drama and I've watched it a long time ago, when it was a hype

but as far as i remember, it was a shocking, weird and different experience.

the acting is chef kiss no complains (i guess) the songs were. visuals were good, like, i felt the emptiness and the coldness of that horrifying place

i remember that this damn drama left me with so many types of emotions.
i wasn't sure if i was angry, sad, confused, happy or nervous 😭

i can't go deeper (cause i don't remember the drama really well) but I'm excited for season 2, i hope is good cause the new cast is top tier
