(9.5-10.0) = Daebak! (My favourites. Worth re-watching again and again.)

(8.5-9.0) = Loved it. (I might re-watch it again someday.)

(7.5-8.0) = Overall, I enjoyed it. (I'll re-watch my favourite scenes, and probably skip the rest).

(6.5-7.0) = It was okay. Had some good parts. (I'll likely never re-watch it.)

(6.0 or less) = (Dropped)

I like rom-com, sports, and slice-of-life stories. Some of my favourite tropes are 'rivals become lovers', 'gender bender', and 'co-habitation'.  And although I do love 'sci-fi', I'm not fond of 'fantasy'.

Background:  My first passion was manga (as a child, I spent many weekends loitering in comic book stores and collected tankobon).  In my teens, my second passion was watching Chinese action movies.  And through my 20s a long-time British period-dramas phase.  So it was inevitable that I would find Asian dramas eventually...

In 2013, my best friend discovered 'Boys Over Flowers'  on Netflix, and she quickly fell in love with kdramas.  She tried for months to get me to watch them with her, to no avail.  One day however she recommended a drama called 'You're Beautiful' which sounded interesting, so I gave it a try and liked it.  And then came Secret Garden, which I also enjoyed.  When I found Coffee Prince, I fell totally and completely in love with it and by then I was now hooked.

When I first started watching kdramas, I had a tendency to rate every show as "..The best thing ever! 10/10!"   Now that I'm several years into this, I'll occasionally go back and re-rate previously watched dramas with a more critical eye.  (I might occasionally write reviews as well.)  If I have 'friended' you on here, it's because we have similar tastes and/or you like shows I'm also interested in, so I'm curious about what you're watching too.  I hope you feel the same about me as well.  Please don't mind if I don't talk much, as I'm a very shy introverted person.

I prefer to watch completed dramas over live ones.  When I get absorbed into a story, I need to see it through to the end, ignoring all others.  You can imagine how hard it is for me to wait weeks or months for one story to unfold, before I am able to start another one.

(Kpop multifan. Gen-0 STAY. Stan Stray Kids.)
