Great Series...!!!

I just got finished watching ep10 and i must say i am in tears. Yes a 50yr old man in tears. I've been out for nearly 35yrs now. And most of what these boys went through in terms of their feelings for each other and other emotions i could totally relate to. Let's face it Shun's been hurt and has trust issues i know his pain i've gone through it myself over the years. From being nearly raped when i first came out and the first sexual experience i had. To getting over that through therapy and then having two lovers cheat on me VERY badly. It left me VERY bitter in terms of finding that someone special much less a friend i could truly trust. And honestly i still haven't found that special someone nor do i have any "TRUE" friends. So when Dai showed Shun how much he loved him no matter what. That really impressed me that their were men still like him out there. Of course i have yet to find my prince charming. But i do believe their is someone for everyone out there and that message was nicely conveyed with this show. It was also a very well done show nothing catty or superficial about it. I felt really bad for Ryota at the end he was probably one of the most genuine guys besides Alan out of all of them. I guess nice guys do finish last. I hope he truly finds love for himself because he so deserves it. What this show managed to do was bring gay men together despite their differences in sexual attraction etc...They formed a bond and that's something that is missing from the LGBTQ+ society today. We prejudge and cast assumptions of others before giving someone a fair chance. We write off someone completely out of our lives if they aren't attracted to us. But don't realize they could turn out to be the best friend we've ever had. Let's face it nobody can have enough friends folks. I don't care if you have 15 friends that one person you wrote off might be the only one who will TRULY be there when you need them. Judging from all the positive reviews this series got i hope they keep it going with more seasons. Our community needs shows like this it's important. It teaches us a lot about ourselves and how to treat others. So please give us more seasons. Bravo to a series well done.

Excellent BL...!!!

I watched the Japanese version and fell in love with that series. Then this came out and MY GOD it hit me emotionally like a brick. The acting was excellent, a bit quirky in parts but managed to squeeze out being cute. I loved the side story of Jinta and Min. Jinta was over the top excellent in his facial expressions and acting the part out very well. The main characters were VERY well paired and rightfully so. As they are business partners and real friends in real life. So their chemistry was spot on. These are the types of BL's i like love stories that develop. Not cutesy comedic parodies of what falling in love and being in a serious relationship is all about. I've watched FAR to many BL's that do this and it's extremely frustrating. Especially, as a gay man whose been out for over 35+yrs. And seen more changes in my LGBTQ+ community then many kids have been alive. It's nice to see BL dramas or movies that take relationships seriously. I applaud the director and his passion and i want to see MUCH more of his work with these types of dramas/movies. In many respects this was even better than the Japanese version. And i tend to favor Japanese BL's over other Asian BL'S. But Thailand never leaves me disappointed either re-doing a series like they did here. Or having something completely new. I encourage everyone to watch this and how good acting and chemistry comes together. Very well done...!!!

Wonderful & Touching BL...!!!

I've watched MANY Asian BL's over the years. And this one was simply incredible. From the story, to the actors, the overall chemistry, music, etc...This had ALL the right ingredients to me for a perfect BL. And it's a no wonder why it got an 8.5 overall rating. It is such a sweet and touching story of two men slowly falling in love. Their were episodes i balled my eyes out over. And not many BL's have had that effect on me. I want to see FAR FAR more BL dramas or movies made like this. My hat is off to the director because they nailed it in every way possible. I can't recommend watching this enough. If you aren't moved emotionally by the time your finished watching this. Then something is wrong with you. This is what true love and devotion between two people is all about folks. So do yourselves the favor of watching this. But make sure you have PLENTY of tissues to dry your eyes. You WILL need them.

Gripping and A LOT of plot twists...

I watch A LOT of J-drama's especially BL's. And i have too say this one was done very well. I really thought the acting was great with a lot of plot twists. Especially, towards the end. All in all i'd really like too see a second season happen so we can watch how our characters are developing in their new roles and lives after "the incident" and truth was finally told. I especially, want too see if Mitarai Makiko is going too continue her devious schemes or finally turn the corner for the better. I'd like too see Kichi and Anzu get married and have kids. And perhaps that would change Kichi's mother into a kinder more caring person. And i definitely want too see Shinji become a doctor at the hospital and start his relationship with Yuzu. So hopefully the director get the positive feedback he needs too "green light" this a second season. Because their is a lot they could do with it if given the chance.

Dysfunctional brother is more like it.

I can't understand for the life of me why Yuji played by Satoh Takeru was so harsh on his mother. Granted she killed the kids father. But i would like to think anyone would snap after seeing there kids getting beaten. Especially, as harshly as he did to them on a daily basis. A mother is either left with two choices sit back and allow it. Or she will come out like a mother bear protecting her cubs. And that's EXACTLY what this mother did. I don't condone violence of any kind or the fact that she killed another human being. But under there circumstances it was quite literally essential before there father killed one of them. It's no different than what the Menendez brothers did killing both of there parents. After YEARS of sexual and verbal abuse by there father. In that case, the mother knew what was going on but did absolutely nothing. So she was guilty by association as far as i'm concerned. It seems the hang up here lies with Yuji and he's the one who needed the counseling in order to move on. He was constantly using the word "we're or us" when the reality is it was his own personal feelings that couldn't move past what she had done to protect her children. It's a really great story about a family dynamics and the relationships we have with our parents and siblings. Especially, after something so tragic like this happens. The mother served her time, promised to return to her kids which she did. But still got blamed harshly by one of her kids for what she did. I don't know about everyone else out there. But i'd be welcoming my mother back with open arms upon her return from prison. And try my best to make up for all the lost time. By starting a new life with her without that monster of a father in the picture.

Absolute Must See...!!!

I've watched A LOT of J-Drama's over the years. This one REALLY hit home with me personally and otherwise. You'll be thrown off at first when starting the film as to what it's about. But as it progresses it turns into a BEAUTIFUL emotional story between two kids and there feelings for each other. I could so totally relate to what they both were struggling with as i did myself when i was about there age maybe a bit older. Everything from the story itself, to the actors, music, and scenery is on spot. Please don't pass up this gem folks. It truly is a tear jerker so make sure you have your tissues ready. I can't emphasize enough it's probably one of THE BEST Asian drama's i've seen in a long while. This is the kind of film or drama series i want to see MUCH, MUCH, more of. 10/10...!!!

Absolutely riveting...!!!

I have watched A LOT of J-Drama's over the years. However, this one on an emotional level took the cake. The story is so so tragic. As is the main character's life. And his personal struggles with his inner demons because of his upbringing. Yes in the end justice was served. However, in my opinion after EVERYTHING this boy endured. It was given fairly. I encourage EVERYONE to watch this and go in with an open mind right up until the ending. Because you will truly learn what the word remorseful and being sympathetic means for someone's life.
